The Crawfish Festival

Bought VIP Bud Light Platform tickets hoping to share an incredible VIP with some visiting friends. WRONG!! The package advertised tables and chairs. There was nothing. The advertised cocktail service was available to everyone around the stands. The VIP bar was available to anyone that walked up. The Vetting process was poor. Then we were promised a crawfish plate with the tickets. We received a voucher and had to wait in line across the premises no where near the platform that we paid big money to see the show from. Since there were no tables.... how does one eat crawfish, hold a beverage and enjoy the show without a promised table. The port a potties (which is normal for a festival) were over packed, dirty and did not have any supplies. The VIP area did not have any facilities designated for the individuals that paid extra money for the this experience. I was so incredibly disappointed. Great event, super close to the artists, great setup, great food. Drove over from pensacola.

I didn't like the fact I paid and others was able to sneak in the event, the event itself was awesome

Drove 4 hours from Tuscaloosa to see Hunter Hayes. Was introduced to Russell Dickerson as well :) Hunter was absolutely fantastic, totally worth the drive. Best concert ever :)

It was amazing I loved his performance. From what I seen it was a full house and everybody was standing up. It was not my first time seeing him but he still knew how to Jam and Rock Out. Overall it was probably the best money i had spent to see him

The weather was awesome, the crowd was upbeat and HUNTER HAYES topped the evening off with a fantastic performance. He's a great performer & entertainer. We all enjoyed from the mom's to the teens it was a very enjoyable evening.

ever have the chance to see HUNTER HAYES in concert go. As for as the fair grounds, i would have liked to have seen more craft booths. The crawfish area where we judged the cooks not good. Please get a better area for it. So hot, no shade at all. No umbrellas on the tables, not enough seats, so many cords to walk over. That area should be much nicer for us to sit and eat crawfish.

We saw Hunter Hayes on stage at the Crawfish Festival. The festival was well laid out. Enjoyed boiled crawfish and other delicacies from the generous number of food vendors. Perused booths of lots of local vendors. Loved the reserved seating for the concert. Hunter and his band put on a high energy concert that encouraged audience participation. I look forward to next year's festival and will definitely attend another concert. Perfect weather, backdrop blocked the setting sun (very thoughtful) great seats worth the money.

This was my first time to see him. He put on a really good show and signed autographs afterwards.

You could have paid $15 to stand next to me, and I paid $40 for each chair. Not sure if was worth it, but he put on a good show.

I like ALL of Billy's music. But like most concerts, the music is usually sang a little different or is played a little different. Billy's music and show was excellent. Music sounded good, he entertained, just a great show.

I would recommend to my friends. Great atmosphere.

Outside concert, everything was great, had trouble with sound in middle of concert but was corrected quickly. Other than that awesome. Great event!

Lee Brice put on an awesome show! He even palyed a little longer because the crowd was so wild!!!!

I wasn't expecting Jake Owen as well as Band Perry to play over an hour. It was like being at a real concert, but the ticket prices were much cheaper. We had to stand up, but it was well worth it. I am looking forward to next years festival and music line up!

Jake owen played outside at the Festival in Biloxi and it was great!

A very intimate setting to see a fantastic show. From the great zydeco sounds of Jamie Bergeron and the kickin Cajuns, to an energy filled, rocking performance by opening act Drake White and then headliners Montgomery Gentry the show was non-stop Rockin Country from start to finish. Montgomery Gentry are amazing showmen, Eddie really connects with the crowd and the musicians were flawless.

Montgomery Gentry was at the top of their game, energetic, fun and great to watch. Will definitely go to see them again!!!!!!

Florida Georgia Line was a great opening show for Jake Owen. They will be hitting it big one day soon. Jake Owen on the other hand put on an amazing show. He is very into is audience and actually a couple of times was off the stage and into the audience. He loves his fiance and his momma so to me that says alot about him. Someone had put him some sour patch kids up on the stage and he opened them and was throwing them into the audience and back to his band. What a great show it was! Everyone should go and see him.

FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE OPENED, THEY ROCKED! JAKE WAS HAPPY, ROCKED THE HOUSE AND EVEN DID A BEASTIE BOYS SONG! IT WAS FABULOUS TO BE SO CLOSE!

Missed most of the festival but it was a great show.

I was surprised at The Band Perry's performance .., they were very good.. They started about 1/2 hour late but that was acceptable. The light show was good.

I have been to many concerts and many arenas. The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is great place for a concert. Very well organized and the sound is great. I was lucky enough to meet-n-greet with TBP. The entire process was very organized and hassle free. This was the second time I have seen TBP and they were amazing. They are very talented and I love their music. They put on a very entertaining show.

Great performance! The concert was moved inside due to inclement weather and that was a great decision!

I appreciate the fact that the concert was moved inside due to the weather. The only thing was we had a hard time understanding some things that were said when they were speaking and sometimes even with the singing. The sound was almost muffeled. I realize it was a last minute change to move them inside so the back part of the coliseum was open and I am guessing that's why we had a hard time hearing them clearly.

Bring them back soon. Can't wait to go next year. I loved it all

Sam Hunter was amazing would go see him any day and so was byrson Jennings!!

My husband and I go to the Crawfish Festival every year for our Anniversary. This was no different and was the best part of our weekend. The live music, the vendors and the fun events that the Crawfish Festival has to offer is the best. Could be cheaper on prices overall but the best entertainment. This has been our ritual for 7 years now!

I have been to at least 20 concerts and I thoroughly enjoyed Sam Hunt however I heard way way to much bass therefore the people singing at times were unrecognizable lyrics to me. I didn't get to enjoy the acts before Sam Hunt as the bass was still bumping. Besides this one factor, the concert was amazing and I am glad I paid to go.

Everyone attending the show was really spread out. They didn't even allow people to stand in front of the stage until Needtebreathe called everyone down for the last song. I even had seats up front and I couldn't go to the stage. I think they should sell tickets for the front section and then everyone else is general admission. Those of us who paid to be up front don't want to sit in a chair, we want to crowd the stage to allow the band to feed off our energy.

The weather didn't cooperate so it was rainy. They moved the concert indoors which I was ok with. What I DIDNT like was I bought tickets the day they went on sale and was soooo excited to land front row seats for my favorite live band! Only to get there and they had a "pit" of standing people in front of the stage. I WAS NOT HAPPY! We wound up moving into the risers so we could see! I paid extra for reserved seats and didn't get a I enjoy them!!

The Festival overall was pretty good. There were not a lot of vendors, the games were over priced as most all things at festival's are... I wish I would have known that general admission to the festival would have also gotten me admission to the concert because I would not have paid all the extra money for tickets. The ticket to the concert was basically for a reserved seat on the floor where you probably could see just as much if not more for less than half the cost from the stands. This was our first time to the festival so we will just call it a lesson learned.

The band playing was great according to my daughter. The crawfish festival was horrible and I would never reccomend it to anyone. It was $19 just to get in and $5 to park. When it started pouring raining the people would not let us go sit in our cars and re enter once the rain slacked off. We were told we would have to pay the $19 again to get back in. We got nothing for the $19 but to walk around and see the same lame rides and games they bring back every year. The concert ticket was purchased for my daughter so we could not leave because she was inside at that and is a minor that can't drive so we had to waste money to sit in the rain because there was no way we were paying to ride the rides in the rain because those rides are old and I would never trust them wet.

Security was excellent as well as parking . Our 2nd time at the Crawfish Festival . The staff was GREAT !

Charlie Daniels and his incredible band are not just great entertainment, they are icons of American music. Charlie and company proved yet again why they are one of the best band still touring today. He kicked the show off with a rocker, "Drinking My Baby Goodbye, then moving into "What The World Needs Today Is A Few More Rednecks". Charlie played some classics, as well as several covers of Bob Dylan tunes from his new album. Charlie was sure to touch on his religious roots with a moving rendition of "How Great Thou Art". Of course, everyone was waiting for "The Legend of the Wooly Swamp," "Long Haired Country Boy" and "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". Charlie Daniels never disappoints, he quite simply is the best that's ever been.

The two preview bands were very good, especially Sundy Best! Wish we had been informed that the venue was outdoors! Was not dressed to be outside in the sun and heat! That said, the show was wonderful and Charlie Daniels still has what it takes to rock the crowd.

I have seen Justin Moore perform several times and this was one of his best performances! The weather was great and the crowd was huge. Great time

The performance was off the charts good! The sound quality was excellent! The lighting were perfect. I will definitely go see him perform again at the crawfish festival. I have never before enjoyed a performance as much as I did Justin's. I would highly recommend going to see him anytime he is at the festival.

My boyfriend and I went to this concert and Justin Moore was amazing!! You can tell he is a great person through his performance and his style of entertainment. I laughed, I cried, I drank some more, and loved it!! (If heaven wasn't so far away got me in tears). I hope he can see reviews and sees this one. Country isnt country anymore. We have people rapping and crap. Justin Moore is a new age George Strait. Someone who doesn't budge for trends and stays true to the genre of Country and true to his roots. I am actually proud to say I saw him in concert. Amazing and deserving of new artist of the year. Thank you so much for the show yall put on. Josh Thompson was great too, but I didnt see all of his show.

One of the best concerts I have been to. The seats were great and the music was the best. His opening act, Josh Thompson, was also very good. I ENJOYED Justin so much that I will be going to see him again in 2 weeks at Coushatta Casino in Kinder, La. I only wish he would sing "That's How I Know You Love Me" which is not a single yet but is on his "Off The Beaten Path" album. GREAT ENTERTAINER!!!!!!!!!!!

paid $35.00 a ticket, this gave us a folding chair in a small area that all the chairs were crammed together. Everyone that paid general admission of $15.00 and brought a lawn chair sat behind and on the side of the area. Ticket said show time 8:00. There program said 9:30, and that was the right time. Amps to loud for the Ares.

Justin Moore is the best person I've seen in concert! I've been to over a handful of concerts and he has been the best! He interacts and is hilarious on stage! He sounds just like he does on CDs but you can tell he's not faking it. The crawfish festival it's self was awsome and had plenty to do and look at!

I enjoyed the music itself but to have to sit by drunks, smokers and people using foul language I think they need a "family section" that eliminates that then it would have been great!! It costs too much money to get in to have to be surrounded by that type of crowd. I think the cost of everything needs an overhaul too since it is way too expensive for what is offered.

Justin Moore was awesome!! John Thompson put on a great show as well as Backroad Anthem!!!

Waste of money! My family and I will not return to this event

Talented songwriter, a "country rapper" who apparently cannot carry a tune but is nevertheless quite entertaining with his lyrics. Musicians were excellent, and 2 vocalists capably sang when Colt wasn't rapping.

Been listening to FH since 2007/08 when I was first stationed in Montana. I got out back around Xmas and finally got to listen to them, nothing but pure amazingness! Got some autographs and shake Kenneth Nixon's hand. It was a great time and I'd love to see them again. Heard 3DG but had to work early.

Colt Ford is quite the performer with a first class band! Hubby is the fan in the family. The tickets were a Valentine's Day present. Colt put on a high energy performance and got the crowd into it. He has a great stage presence. For not knowing one Colt Ford song before I saw the show, I enjoyed it. Clare Dunn opened the show. She is definitely is talented and I expect her to go far.

Loved the show... Colt Ford is REAL! Great band! My 3 year old loved the entire show!

Thomas Rhett was the headliner and rocked the place, but with that said keep your eyes and ears open for Blackjack Billy , they are an up and coming young band that will make the BIG TIME !!!! I'm a Blackjack junkie they are AMAZING !!!!!

My daughter met Thomas Rhett prior to the concert and he was very friendly. She was so excited for the concert. We had an awesome time. We have never experienced the Crawfish festival before and now we plan on attending every year as a mother/ daughter day. We were also impressed with Black Jack Billy, we had never heard them before but we just had to purchase their songs on I Tunes went we got home.

We truly enjoyed the Biloxi Crawfish Festival!!! Three Days Grace delivered an awesome show as always and the people of Biloxi made the festival inviting and relaxing. I think this was the 1st time a rock band like Three Days Grace has been a headliner at the festival and I hope it's not the last, great decision to rock the festival!!! Framing Hanley was also good, we'll be watching for them!!!!

Great concert, perfect weather, good seats except the caution flag tape and wire holding stage frame work was on my view of Travis Tritt & was in most of my Picts .

My boyfriend and I had second row seats to see X Ambassadors, which was an amazing show that they dedicated to the LGBTQ community in Mississippi. We enjoked the option of sitting in for the openers, and we're especially pleased to find out that with our seats were had the opportunity to meet the band. The only thing I would have changed was having more options for crawfish available.

Our first time to the Crawfish Festival and it won't be the last. A great event in Biloxi, MS. Two weekends of great music, food and beer. Local bands played during the day and top entertainers at night. Opening for Lee was Caitlyn Smith, great talent and amazed at all the songs she has written for others. Lee Brice played for 90 minutes and was just incredible. The whole arena was rocking.

That was one of the best concerts I've ever been too!!

My girlfriend and I attended the show. We had tickets for the pit. The view was phenomenal! We asked Marshall for a picture. and not only did he take a picture with me, he shook my hand and talked to me like any other ordinary person would. He was incredibly easy going and down to earth. A huge plus in my book! While they were playing I asked the guitarist for a guitar pick, he gave me the thumbs up finished the song, then tossed it to me! An absolutely memorable time that will not be forgotten!

As for the Scotty Concert that was wonderful couldn't ask for anything better. As for the food NOT good, I think its a bit pricey for 2 corndog and 2 fries to be $20.00 when we threw it away because we could have hurt someone with it, the corndogs were very hard and the fries were very greasy, YUCK is all I can say. Left the festival hungrey. You have to pay to get in to the festival which I didn't mind doing but the price of everything is rediculas.

We had a great experience and my daughters 13th birthday was definitely one she'll always remember!

Montgomery Gentry would be recommended. They put on a fantastic show and really get the audience participating. this was the 3rd time I've seen them and they have always been fantastic! The light show is good also.

This was My first time going to the Crawfish Festival, Had a wonderful time, Jake was amazing in concert also the opening Band Florida-Georgia Line, was wonderful too. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. Looking foward to going back Next year.

I'm glad the event was moved indoors because the weather was unbearable! The concert was awesome and the seating arrangements and staff were great! We even got to meet the bandmembers afterwards and get autographs! So much fun and id def see them again!!

The acts they had were great. My only complaint, once in you couldn't leave. I've been to numerous events like this and with a stamp and ticket you could re-enter. Stopped us from seeing a lot of the up and comers.

Amazing weekend! Bands were great, food & drinks were good, but expensive (which I expected). The only thing that could of been better was access to the bathrooms.

Old Dominon had me from the beginning. They were worth the weekend pass. The Saturday night show was sllllooowwww and boring. Everyone started leaving at the third song. They didn t get the crowds attention.

You definitely go back and recommend to friends!!!!

I saw Old Dominion with Jordan Davis, Riley Green and Troy Cartwright. The entire experience was amazing. Will definitely be checking out this event next year.

The crawfish was so good! The atmosphere was great for all ages. The band's were really good! Cody Jinks and Jamey Johnson were great!

Admission was high & didn t include any crawfish or anything. There weren t many rides and I paid for the arm bands so my kids just rode the sand things over & over to try and get our money worth. Everything was over priced.

Available bathrooms were minimal. No organizations for the crowds.

Show line up was great, they didn t seem to be expecting that many people because the bathroom situation was terrible, over all good experience.

Music/entertainment was great for the most part, one band really didn t fit the genre of music and honestly were not entertaining! Poor planning with restroom accommodations for concert ticket holders inside the gated area, once the concert began it was a fiasco trying to leave your seat to get out.

We bought the VIP tickets thinking we were going to get the best experience, best seats and at the least tables and chairs. Wrong. It was standing room only so it made the view horrible! I would have paid for the cheaper tickets to have a seat on the floor. The "Bud Light swag" was a koozie. Nothing more. There were only SEVEN port-a-potties in the area next to us (unless you wanted to walk all the way back to the coliseum) The port-a-potties were almost full and no toilet paper. If you did happen to use the coliseum for the restroom, the lines were outrageous. There should be more planning and more restroom access throughout the festival area. The "VIP bar" was granted to everyone. There was a point that they sold out of beer. Luckily, they were able to restock an hour or two later. There is no re-entry into the festival. When you get there, plan on staying until you are ready to leave. Jamey Johnson & Cody Jinks were awesome and put on a great show! I just look forward to seeing them somewhere else. I won't waste the money to ever go back to this Crawfish Festival.

This is a must see if you are in the area. Second time traveling 900 miles to Biloxi for this and other activities. Highly recommended and absolutely cannot beat the cheap price. Lawn tickets are like 20 bucks and it's like your right near the stage. Will be going again next year!!!!

I love outdoor concerts and Old Dominion is the best I ve ever seen!

Trace Adkins put on a great show although I wished he would have started a little earlier than 9:30pm. We paid extra for the VIP Bud Light tickets. VIP was supposed to mean you received Bud Light "Swag", reserved raised seating area to left of stage with tables, chairs, and cash bar and 2 lb plate of crawfish. The Bud Light swag consisted of a cheap beer koozie and that was it. You got your voucher for crawfish along with your koozie at the seating area by the stage. The only problem with that was the crawfish was on the other side of the festival. They boasted that only 80 tickets would be sold for the VIP area well they only had 3 small round pub tables for 80 people and the lady who gave us our wristband actually said to me " It said seating would be limited" :-( They did have more chairs in that area just only 3 tables. The price of food & drinks was outrageous. A large beer was $11.00 A cup of fresh squeezed lemonade was $7 for small and $10 for large. Hopefully next year they will have another great musician singing and I will buy regular tickets not VIP and we'll eat before we get there.

I enjoyed the music, beverages and the down home atmosphere of the weekend. We are planning to attend next year because we had such a good time. My recommendations; FIRST, For us music folks have a weekend ticket. SECOND, weekend ticket would allow us to come and go. THIRD, for VIP ticket purchaser's have some perks (for example, our own restroom area and our own beverage area.

Great venue ! Great concert! Everyone was so nice! We will be back .
