The entire complex really isn't that large. You can walk it all probably 3 times in 10 minutes or so. The speaker system in the stands are a bit too loud, but that's the only real drawback. Parking costs are included in your ticket, but isn't completely organized. Would definitely recommend the entire experience.

The players for Phoenix Rising are so fun to watch! They play very hard, and are really intense. The supporters section is full of two groups that call themselves the Bandidos and the Red Fury, and the play drums and sing and chant the whole game, so it s quite loud (and fun). It s a very exciting experience

I was actually pretty impressed with the competition on the field and the aesthetics of the temporary stadium set up. One note, parking is located on a dirt lot that gets incredibly dusty before and after a game. Not cool at all....

My wife and I attended this, our first Phx Rising game, and were impressed. Having been Seattle Sounders fans, we were accustomed to MLS accommodations, but this stadium was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and available. The seats were comfortable, although they could be improved with cup holders. The fans were friendly and orderly. Oh yes, and the team showed good skill, coordination, and intelligence. We watched the previous game on the internet and were impressed with the improvement. The defense was in good form and the offense maneuvered and shot well. They played a good game. We were hoping to purchase some gear (shirts and scarfs) there but didn't find a vendor. Otherwise, a good entertainment value.

Enjoyed the soccer game at their new stadium. The stadium was filled with soccer fans and family, loved all the children. Phoenix Rising won and it was a great game! Parking is a little hike to the stadium, but it's free, so worth the walk. Thought the people working the concession stand and security were very good and nice, had a slight mix-up on our parts, sitting in the wrong seats.

For a stadium built in two months, the atmosphere was surprisingly great. The grounds around the stadium certainly reflect the temporary nature of a scaffolding stadium, but once inside, in the seats, it's a great stadium. Can't wait to go to another match.

The soccer field, stands, restrooms, venue were all well thought out and very nice. The soccer match is what I expected...fairly well played and the refereeing was good. The ONLY drawback I have is the amount of time it takes to park. We left our house at 6:15 (only takes 7 minutes to get there) and we got parked at 7:00 PM. There is only ONE entry and exit point even though there are more entry/exit points on McClintock and on McKellips. We left twenty minutes early (game had 20 minutes left) so we could get out of there in a reasonable time frame. So, all in all, I give it a four but parking is an event killer.

I drove there in my own car, and it took over an hour to get into the parking lot because traffic was so backed up. Once we did manage to find a parking spot in their pitch-black dirt lot, we had to wait another 20 minutes in line to get our tickets scanned. My girlfriend and I missed the first 25 minutes of the match just trying to get in, which is when the only goal was scored in the match. Once we got into the stadium, we found out OUR SEATS DON'T EXIST. We have Section 114, Row A. We found section 114, only to realize it consists of rows E through P. How did they sell us tickets for seats that don't exist?! Not only was the experience the worst I've ever had at a sports game, but the team is terrible too. They keep acting like they've gotten better since they went under last season, but then they lose their home opener with 0 goals. I would never recommend this to anyone, I totally wasted my money that night.

I would recommend only because there are no bad seats (if you can get one) but this place did not seem very family friendly. With the seats I bought being GA and they additional selling of "standing room only". There was no sufficient spot my 5 year old daughter could watch without me holding her. The parking situation also deserves negative 5 stars. I made a big deal of this event with my daughter as it was a daddy daughter date. I live in North Phoenix and left early to go to dinner before. We ate dinner at Tempe Marketplace and left 45 min before kickoff. We were not remotely near entering the lot due to traffic when I could hear the national anthem and start of the game in our car. After realizing the game was already 20 min in and I was still about 30min from parking, I left the line parked elsewhere, run in with my daughter on my back just trying to get inside. When we finally got in there was about 10 min left of the first half and I could still see a long line of cars just trying to get in. I was also building excitement about the kids section that I saw they would have as my daughter plays soccer and loves it. Since we couldn't get in before the game started due to insufficient parking. I was told the kids area was only during pre game.

This is a new team in the valley and will have its growing pains. Having said that some better planning would have gone a long way into organizing this event. Entry and parking for this event was a nightmare. There was a .single lane to enter into the arena, which is quite a way back from the main road. This caused backups over an hour long. Eventually they stopped collecting the parking fees that speeded up the parking process but we missed the start of the game in spite of being there an hour earlier. Since this is a make shift stadium, bathrooms are scarce, We had to wait a long time to get out of the stadium after the game while we were waiting for the players to walk back to their locker rooms, which crosses through the fan exit area. There are no signs to indicate where you parked so be certain to clearly remember that information.

The parking (before and after the game) were terrible and poorly organized. It was a free-for-all- there were no lanes or guides to tell people were to park on unmarked gravel, and after the game, all cars were funneling to one exit, 20 lanes merging to 3 lanes. Not enough food options, so the lines were incredibly long, many people missed a good portion of the game waiting in lines. The team apparel booth was poorly staffed, so the line for that was really long, too. That said, the stadium was nice, the game was fun, the fans in the support zone was awesome. After the game, the players came by the stands to give autographs and high five the supporters.

For any sporting event: 1. Parking - getting in and out was organized and efficient. 2. Stadium - this new facility is very nice; the pitch looked perfect; no bad seats in any section; staff is very helpful; disabled have their own entrance to seats; a big screen would be nice to see replays (probably have to wait if we get a major league team). 3. Concessions/rest rooms - right now, everything is in the outside grounds; food is all junk; cooling stations were operating; picnic tables provided. 4. The game itself - enjoyed watching with good fans in a family-friendly atmosphere; this league has former stars of major leagues, players working their way back, and future stars.

The first logistics problem came when leaving the east bleachers to the north towards the parking lot. Security roped off a path so that the players could walk from the field to the locker room. This blocked all foot traffic until the players were done talking to the media and signing autographs. The second problem was the parking lot only has one exit. It tooks 20 minutes just to reach the main road. I will go again, but I will try to park at the far end of the parking lot nearest the exit and leave the bleachers to the west.

I live up in the Prescott area and I love coming to the matches (3 total now). The stadium keeps improving with each visit and it doesn't hurt that we've won on each occasion. In my opinion the best experience is to go to the Thirsty Lion before the match and then either walk or take the free shuttle to the stadium. I highly suggest parking at the Tempe Marketplace for those adverse to the dirt parking lot (seems to be the biggest complaint). The atmosphere during the matches is electric and the fan base is a great mix of those who really understand the beautiful game and those that are just now discovering it for themselves. The prospect of getting a MLS team in the valley is really exciting and I hope the matches keep selling out as the weather heats up.

Don't let the age of any of the guys fool you. They're here to win and it shows. Anytime drogba or bravo get the ball by the box, there's a good chance a high level of skill will be on display. Johnson looks a lot like a younger version of drogba and has already improved since drogba played last game. Honesty drogbas presence has elevated everyones effort and skill. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. They have food trucks in the stadium along with traditional concessions. Every seat is close to the field. Tickets are pretty well priced. The stadium sells out like every game. I would suggest buying tickets ahead of time unless you just want to stand. If I could, I'd go every game. It's that good.

the owners are putting a lot of effort into the client experience, great activities for kids pre and post-game, the stadium was completely shaded before gametime, plus being in an open field there was a nice breeze, not the AZ heat I was concerned about. Easy to get to and facilities for a club this size were good. However they made a great play before about Didier Drogba playing,, no show!! No mention of him or at least introduce yourself to the crowd, very disappointing!! There were many wearing his shirt, huge own goal not to be there or say why!! Another thing the sub contractors who do the security should be told that the flyers are for the fans not them! There were logos in the box wit the poster yet the female security helper took them all!!! Phoenix rising must do better in their PR or they will sink!!

Although Phoenix Rising lost and looked impotent doing it, it was another good experience. We sat in section 104 this time and had the benefit of the public address system on that side. Also, the west side is in the lee of the stands so there was less wind than on the east side. The down side of that was that the PA system was too loud. I seriously considered moving to unoccupied seats until the game started and it went silent. Speaking about loud, the band playing adjacent to the entrance queue was likewise too loud. I'll be wearing ear plugs next game. Parking is getting more organized although there are still bugs to work out. Entering the parking lot from the south, traffic is channeled into three lanes with cones but only two of those lanes are directed. The left is the through lane and the right is the parking lot entrance lane. The middle lane is channeled to the entrance point where it is blocked with no option for through or enter. Exiting is another issue. All of the traffic out of the lot is directed north. Those of us needing to go south to the 202/10 must go north and find a U-turn opportunity. A southbound exit lane is needed. We had a particularly vocal fan seated behind us that ran a monologue about every other sport but soccer for the entire first half. I found this not only irritating but disrespectful and rude.

The gates opened an hour later than the other games which led to very long lines. The team was terrible and lost to Reno 1868 FC 4-0! That is Reno's only win of the season. Leaving the game fans from the general parking lot were cutting off people in the VIP lane, by driving through the flags and over the dirt mounds.

Saw our 2nd Phoenix Rising game on Sunday. We sat next to a group of young men who were good soccer fans. They knew the game, were enthusiastic, and respected the Pledge. The Rising are seriously talented. Their passing is crisp and accurate. Players are in the right place at the right time, and shooting is 90% on goal. They're quick and smart and they won 4-1. Their drive for an MLS franchise is going well. This week they added Didier Drogba to the team as owner-player. His presence in the locker room will certainly enhance the team. Had a good time in great seats on the midfield line. Entering the parking lot continues to be a challenge.
