Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi is one of a kind. She has achieved so much in her life considering where she came from and with her celebrity status, wealth, current role on The View, etc etc... Her stand up this past weekend was simply good old fashion Whoopi from the block fun! She has not changed at all. She kept it real 100% Even when she had questions asked of her that were in my opinion were disrespectful, her response was stellar!!! I love you Whoopi! I can't wait for you to have another show close by where I can attend. New Orleans loves you! Thank you for bringing your talent to us live!

The building is beautiful and we had awesome seats. We all enjoyed the show very very much. We will do this again. I need to check and see what show we want to see. Loved everything.

Hysterical! Whoopi is highly entertaining and makes you laugh at everyday life things that happen.

I would see her again. I thought she did the right thing when the guy had health issue. She asked for the time, she only had 15 minutes left for her show. She was concern for him and she stopped her show. She let the medical staff do their thing. If I was the guy I would be appreciate her for stopping the show,

To be entirely honest, I chose to see Whoopi mostly for my wife. She's watched Whoopi on the View for years and was dying to see her. I was cautiously optimistic. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I've seen Whoopi do standup in the past, I've seen her in movies, and I must have forgotten how funny she is. I would definitely recommend her show to nearly anyone, so long as you are not too easily offended. More than anything though, I was impressed by her kindness and generosity. She did a Q&A after about an hour, and in some ways it was even better than her routine. People fawned and she was amazingly gracious. Some had small requests, and she was more than happy to make someones day. I very much hope to see her again in the future!

Whoopi Goldberg was very entertaining and funny. She didn't sing or dance. She just entertained with her discussions.

Whoopie was great, current monologue, and jokes. At the end she took questions from the audience. Awesome experience, can't wait till she returns.

The show was fantastic!! The question & answer session was so inspiring. People had stories for things Whoopi had done that had changed their lives In a very positive way. I would go back & see her tomorrow if there was another show!!

While her act is not for all (do not bring kids, and do not go if you object to graphic language) I highly recommend this performance. It was everything you would expect from Whoopi and more. Not only the timely humor and great stories, but her openness and generosity toward the audience. In addition to the hour plus act she spent over 45 minutes Q/A with the audience. She could not have been more available. Much of this segment was as funny as the act. She is the real deal! I would definitely go again.

Not sure what to expect, but Whoopi was funny, intelligent and engaging! I laughed out loud so many times, what a great show!!!

Whoopi Goldberg was spectacular. Her one woman show was hilarious, endearing, and memorable. She was true to life with her witty stories and responses. It was great to see a performer that was very personable. Whoopi is a must see live event. Although she is tremendous on television and the movies, she's very down to earth. I got these tickets for my BF's birthday gift. He said it was the greatest gift of all..the gift of laughter. I am hoping Whoopi makes it back into town again!!!

Sorry to say,Whoopi was old....not the laldy, but the material! Jokes are funny, but not the second or third time Not for prudes! But she does warn you all!

The show was great. Audience response was good. Lots of diversity. Really enjoyed it. Whoopi is a real down to earth person . Love her.

I honestly didn't know what to expect. My first Whoopi experience was the HBO airing of her one-woman Broadway performance in the '80s. I was fascinated at how she completely and so easily transformed herself into several totally diverse characters. Then there were her films, Comic Relief with Robin Williams & Billy Crystal, her hosting gig at the Oscars, The View, plus all the little snippets I've seen by and about her through the years -- all of which show the many sides of this talented woman who manages never to lose sight of nor let go of who she is and what she will (and won't) stand for. An admirable and aspirational trait. And Whoopi was the culmination of all of those last Friday night. Her storytelling expressiveness, strong will, attention to detail, stances on issues, understanding of human nature, love of family, appreciation of the crowd who came to see her, and the ability to laugh at herself were all there that night. I laughed until I cried -- and I loved her even more than I did in the '80s.

Whoopi's show was all I expected and more. She tells it like it is and that's what I love about her. She warns you from the beginning about her language and on not asking her to recite movie/play lines or to sing. So - during the Q&A section, PLEASE don't bother her with any of that!

Show was irreverent, blunt,funny as HELL! Best bday gift EVER!

Whoopi was everything I thought she'd be and more! Her humor is about real stuff and gets more and more real as we age! I can relate! The audience was filled with 20-80 year olds and she had everyone laughing! I was in tears from laughing so hard and so much! It did start about 15 minutes late, though, and her show lasted only an hour, but then she had another hour of Q&A from the audience that was very funny and enlightening, about her and the audience!

Great night. Thanks Whoopi. My husband wasn't thrilled before the show but afterwards, u got a new fan. Thanks for starting off our anniversary weekend in a great way!

Whoopi seemed genuinely touched by her San Antonio reception and gave the appreciative audience a praiseworthy performance. The audience was kept in stitches for most of the of the evening. She seemed to opt out of skewing Trump and his defeated Republican candidates as much as I would have liked. Tinges of our Red state seemed to move her back to proven success from earlier in the evening. She was adored by a generally liberal crowd and kindly acknowledged her surprise at the loving audience she'd charmed all evening.

She was amazing and hilarious!! Definitely would attend again.

Whoop I was funny and the Q&A allowed the audience to experience her up front and personal.

So I surprised my mom (who loves her on The View) with these tkts...I could prob count on both hands the amount of times she laughed during the FORTYFIVE MIN set. Me, barely one hand. I've enjoyed Whoopi since Jumping Jack Flash (and How Stella Got Her Groove Back) so I can also say I'm a fan and looked fwd to seeing her live. Unfortunately as the other HONEST 1 and 2star reviews, her jokes were a little dry, just like she described her lady part to be with saw dust piles trailing behind her smh. Lots of cursing, I guess to enhance the "funny" but even at 37yrs old its a bit unnecessary to me. What killed me was that she boldly proclaimed "This is NOT The View!!!" at the start of the show but it actually was for about half her set. She didn't forget her "jokes" though as some reviews said at least. This was our 1st and last. Other than the op to have a quick personal q&a with her afterwards, I wouldn't recommend. Catch her for free on tv lol

I enjoy myself so badly that i could not wait to get there, Whoopi is one of my favorite person i will to meet one day an to see her was a joy. May the good lord be with her an bless her always.I cannot wait to see her again hope she come back to the city soon. Whoopi was outstanding!! She is funny, smart and kind!! Whoopi spoke of the joys of aging in such a funny way, aging didn't seem so bad after a good laugh! Whoopi also speaks the truth and addresses current events so that everyone can have a view! We were so happy we went to see her! The Kings Theatre is beautiful!! Definitely go back for another event!

This is a show not to miss. A laugh a minute, non-stop, one hilarious joke after another. Definitely a must-see but to be honest this is not a show for children or people of the cloth.

Whoopi was Wonderful!!!! Whoopie!!! I see her everyday on The View and haven't seen her LIVE since her One Woman Show on Broadway, sorry I waited so long to see her in person again. Her commentary, the jokes and the Q&A all thoroughly enjoyable.

She had me laughing from beginning to end, she was brilliant, she made you think she was funny as hell, This show is not for kids, someone brought a kid to our show and everyone cringed including Whoopi at the end when we found out there was a pre-teen among us. Whoopi was everything I expected her to be.

What an amazing show this woman put on. We laughed from the time she stepped on the stage to the minute bshe left. She made sure to warn people that this show was not the view and if questionable language is a problem, leave. The material applied to todays views and the story about her brother was hilarious but heartfeldt. I have always enjoyed Whoopi in all she does and this show was no different. Hope she comes back again so my husband can come with me.

Whoopi Goldberg was hilarious. I've been a fan since I was 8 years old and I saw her Comedy Hour on HBO and then saw Jumpin' Jack Flash after that. My mom and my sisters came with me as well and loved her and the show she put on.

Whoopi you were very funny. I would definitely come to another show! You seem to be a very down to earth kind of gal.... I will certainly pass the word of the great show you put on. Whoopi is awesome! My BFF and I call her the Monarch of Genuineness. Whoopi was kind enough to take questions and statement after her performance and i regret not speaking on the importance of my BFF and I being there. It was my BFF first night out after losing her 24 year old daughter to Liver Failure on 8/30/14. This was one thing that I should have shared with the woman we call the Monarch of Genuineness. A picture to capture this moment would have been nice for my BFF to always look back on. If you missed this Whoopi Goldberg performance, you really missed out on a special moment in time. She is the best!!

I was introduced to Whoopi Goldberg for the first time 25 years ago when she brought her one woman show to Clowes Hall in Indianapolis, IN. i became an instant fan and have followed her career every since. I have never been disappointed in any of her performances and her Oct. 26th standup was no exception. I love Whoopi...she is the master of storytelling. Thanks for the laughs!!

A very funny show which reflected the times we are living in. The question & answer session was an added bonus. Would highly recommend seeing her. Also the Lyric is a very nice venue. Seems that most of the seats provide a very good view of the stage. The drinks at the bar in the lobby were reasonably priced.

Very funny ......this woman talks about everything......warns everyone up front that this is an adult show. No topic is off limits, and all are hilarious. Very enjoyable evening. But, the end was badly handled. Never give a microphone to a Grand Rapids audience. Terrible, off topic questions by the audience.

Woopi was at her best. She warm the audience with her humor and kept them laughing The whole time. Her jokes were every day like events. She also engaged the people with question and answers. I loved it.and will go back to see her again

Last night I got to see Whoopi Goldberg in Studio A of the IP Casino and Spa. She was Fresh, her performance is with current politics and she's VERY interactive with her audience. I got to ask her a few questions and she was gracious with her answers. Great show, I'd like to see her again !

We saw her 2 years ago same venue. She is a great storyteller she makes you forget about the stress of the day and just laugh and have fun.

Whoopi put on a wonderful show, as unique as she. Nice touch at the finish and she turned up the lights and took questions from the audience. She really got into the questions she allowed people to showcase talent, accepted jewelry to critique and signed and gave away her gym shoes to a guest in true nee. Thank you Whoopi for caring. You are one in a million.

Woopey Goldberg was great. The question answer. Was a little expensive and the seating at motor city casino soundboard was way under par. I had to stand up for 90% of the show so I could see her over peoples heads. Sitting level with black. Otherwise I enjoyed the concert

Paid to see Whoopi not to listen to Q&A, it went on and on way to long, disappointing. Jokes were funny and ticket prices were reasonable. But would leave after stand up was over and not stick around for Q&A love fest, we all love her didn t have to hear it dozens of timed.

Hands down one of the funniest comedy shows I have gone to in a while, Whoopi was hilarious, honest, and very open to her personal life and she really connected with the audience, will definitely see her again.

It was pretty boring. Her delivery is off, and nothing original in her routine. The last hour she took questions from around 50 people, which was a love-fest and people trying to use the time to advertise their own comedy or request her help getting into the business.

Whoopi was laugh out loud funny. Show is not for the faint of heart if you do not like colorful language or talk of sex. I like both. I loved her style. I thought she would have more political jokes and was pleasantly surprised at how positive and hopeful she was. As always, Whoopi presented a show that was extremely inclusive. It was a great show.

I love Whoopi and was hopeful her show would contain topical events, like what she expresses on the View. While there were some funny political jokes, she was extremely crude discussing her sex life and private body parts, so not necessary! And then many, many people from the audience asked her questions--I didn't pay for that and didn't find that entertaining at all!

we love whoopi and the show and like this room as it is smaller and more intimate than the other places we have seen her perform. she is wonderful. however, i wish she would move around the stage a little more sot that if you sit at the other end of where she is performing, to see her you reall have to look at the screen. also, i woudl rather have her do more performance and answer less questions. the wuestions were mainly comments and became boring after a while. we would attend again, however and this was the second time we have gone to see her. the material was different and wonderul.

Whoopi was wonderful! Her stories made you laugh til you cried! We all need a laugh these days and I would highly recommend her show!!

Ok. So I took my husband out to see Whoopi for his bday and honestly I didn't think he would like the show. Oh boy was I wrong. She was real! She was honest! She was her! AND IT WAS FABULOUS TO WATCH AND BE A PART OF! It was an intimate experience that she has basically customized per show. So the awesome experience we had may be even more awesome her next show. Definitely was worth every penny. She made me laugh. She made us think and we left a little more enlightened. Great show!

Maybe she is doing this to just get out of the house. if your not into smoking MJ you will be bored to death the last half,

From the moment Whoopi came on stage, I felt like I was in her living room. She made us all feel as if we had known her personally. I enjoyed seeing her so much. It was on my bucket list. Don't miss an opportunity to see her. Not only is she funny, but what she says is thought provoking.

My friends and I never laughed so much from beginning to end. She tells it like it is and how she feels about a variety of topics. Q & A time built into the end of the show was delightful as Whoopi shared personal stories with her audience.

Laughed all night! Whoopi is energetic, funny, smart and honest in her comedy. She brings an opinion that makes others uncomfortable and challenges the status quo. Her performance was hilarious and even included a Q&A with fans. Adding more of a twist to the end.

Whoopi was incredible! She started right on time and continued on for about 90 minutes, and I must say she was hysterical. She interacts with the audience and keeps everyone engaged, and wanting more! She truly is one of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time and if you ever get the opportunity to go and see her live, it is worth it. Also, she DOES NOT push her political views on the audience, nor does she tear the other side down. Well worth the money!!

I saw Whoopi at the Seneca Niagara Casino Friday Evening and all I san say is WOW...She was incredible and she did not disappoint!! She is the Real Deal!!!

My husband and I were celebrating our 44th wedding aniversary that night, so we had a wonderful way to celebrate. Whoopi is a terrific comedienne, actress and TV host. We couldn't wait to see her act. She made us laugh hysterically and cry with happy tears. I love that she says what she feels and doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her opinions. After all, she is entitled to her own opinions. She was so funny. I did not expect her to be as she appears on the View and I knew it. She is just fantastic. She talked about how her mom raised her and gave her credit for the way she is today.

It was so great to see Whoopi that words cannot begin to describe it. It felt like it was a small group. She talks like she is personally speaking to each person. Always amazing to attend her performance!!!

Whoopi was phenomenal! She did a 60 minute set followed by a 30 min q and a with the audience. She was hysterical, charming and generous. I would see her anytime, anywhere. Also, the St. George Theater in Staten Island is a venue worth visiting (beautiful, looks like a church inside).

We thoroughly enjoyed Whoopi Goldberg's show. She is down to earth, real, very humorous, has a heart of gold, etc. Frankly she's everything we expected and more! We cannot wait to attend another show should she return and this time we're bringing our family and friends!

I love Whoopi. Watching her on the view, I expected a different kind of comedy routine from her. I loved when she talked about current events. She is a very compassionate caring person and she's genuine. Didn't care for her comedy routine though. It was funny here and there. Didn't do much laughing.. I just love Whoopi so I would go see her again.

Seeing Whoopi Goldberg in person was incredible and her stand up comedy was hilarious. The downside of the show is she only did stand up for an hour. After that was a question / answer session. This was stupid and a waste of time and money. Of the 25ish questions there were maybe 3 interesting ones. The questions were selfish and mostly related the person asking. The tickets were expensive for only an hour of comedy then 30 minutes of questions about people just trying to take a picture with Whoopi or promote their own book or make comments about The View that were clearly not factual. Overall, it was a neat experience to see Whoopi in person, but I don't think I would recommend the event to anyone (unless tickets were significantly cheaper) Sorry for the bad review.

Whoopi said she gave up the funny character part of her act, as she needed to grow. I saw no growth, no originality, no new material. It was the Whoopi Solo Hot Topics. I do not enjoy being preached to about politicians or gay rights. Uncomfortable during her talk about her dead brother. If this sounds harsh, she was this harsh to a man wanting to take pics of her. Joan Rivers, wore depends to see her. Joy Behar, hysterical. Whoopi, get a writer! Give me a refund.

I love Whoopi Goldberg. I watch "The View" everyday or DVR. This was my first time seeing her in person. I love her honest story telling and quick wit. I would see her again.

A fun weekend getaway. We like Whoopi and view her more as an all around talent than stand up comedian. She makes observations about her life experiences and the state of society in general that we enjoy.

Whoopi was very funny, and came across as very genuine and real. Topic was free flowing and a little "ADHD" as she went from topic to topic with no real theme running throughout. Sex, drugs and foul language - but loads of laughs. Only thing I did not like was the Q&A session, mostly because people are self serving and were asking for autographs, selfies, to give her a gift, or asking for a job (!!). People started to get booed. Whoopi handled it all gracefully, but that part got a little boring. When folks asked a legitimate question it was interesting, but too many people just wanted their "moment".

Whoopi was excellent. More funny to the female spectators than the male. If you need a good laugh, go see her show.

The material she used was from things she's said on The View or from off her Facebook page. I traveled for 3 hours and 21 minutes and paid for two tickets for my boyfriend and myself to have a good time. Now granted only 2 jokes were different, but they were involving the discussion of what men do when they are in the bathroom or how she's getting older. The show was only an hour long and then she began getting questions from the audience. So at that point I was just upset and wanted to leave. Now I could be also upset that I had to get my car repaired on the way up the road to get to the show and that took 2 hours. I find it kind of funny that this keeps happening every time I try to go see Whoopi in person. I went to The View in New York last year in November and got in to a car accident right when the show was done. Around that time she was grumpy, she was the same way this time around. I just wish a lot more new material had been used and that the stand up was a little bit longer. We also received T-shirts that have the music festival for the casino on it, nothing stating Whoopi Goldberg. She didn't want us to use our phones to take pictures or videos. Now it is understandable that she wants us to listen to what she has to say without being recorded, but in my opinion she should've had a moment after the show was done to give the audience a chance to take pictures. This will be the last show that I go to, because if I wanted to listen to someone be grumpy and complain about their body image, I could've stayed home to listen to my grandmother do this for free. The seating at the casino was not comfortable at all. They were really close to others and it really hurt your back and your behind. It's the type of seats you'd see at a wedding reception. I wouldn't recommend this type of event to my friends. I wish Whoopi the best of luck and happiness in her future.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed, laughed with and listened to her stories about life, life changing and her thoughts. So glad we had the opportunity to see and hear her in person. She knows who she is, is comfortable with herself, and has worked for her achievements!!!!!!

Got the tickets to see Whoopi Goldberg for my wife's - who is a big fan - birthday. My wife really enjoyed the show and so did I. Really enjoyed seeing such a great performer doing 'her thing' in such a relaxed way - almost as if we were in her living room. I was disappointed in the venue which is the basement of the casino with banquet room chairs. If it had been a theatre setting , I would have given 5 stars.

Whoopie was hilarious during her stand up portion. But the 2nd half where she took questions from the audience was lame. There was lots of 'thank you for coming', 'we love you', 'you are an inspiration', etc. We came to see a show, not a love fest.

I left after seeing Ms Goldberg feeling something was lacking! She wasn't what I expected nor as funny as past routines! I admire her courage to speak out about tough subjects, but will not pay the money to see her again!

First part of show was funny at times. Last half hour of Q & Q was a waste of time. Felt I didn't get my monies worth. Don't need to listen to audience telling her she' all that.
