Michael Lington

What a night of pure music magic. I would have gone back the following night if he was still in town.

Michael Lington was truly awesome! I wish I could have sat there for hours listening and watching him perform. His accompanying performer looked beautiful but her voice did project. I was sitting in the 7th row from the stage & could barely hear her. The opening band was good.

Michael continues to be one of those "underappreciated gems" in the jazz world! His concerts are ALWAYS full of special moments, and his talent always shines through. Don't let his Danish upbringing fool you -- this guy knows how to bring a very soulful sound to each and every song in his set.

This is the first time we saw Michael in concert and we were so thrilled-the concert was truly amazing. He and his group had so much energy.

Michael Lington perfomed like no other. Second time seeing his performance and it just gets batter each time. This jazz performer is loaded with talent and displays it quite well each time I see him. I really like the fact that after his show you are able to purchase his current release and older releases that is a super plus after seeing his live performance.

This was an unbelievable show! Michael Lington is an amazing sax player, very talented and fun!! Kenny Lattimore sings like no other; his voice is so strong and beautiful!! All of the artists were genius in their performance!! It was an amazing night that my fiance and I enjoyed thoroughly. We absolutely recommend this show to anyone!

I enjoyed the concert with Michael Lington and Bill Champlin very much. I loved his enthusiasm. You can tell he is very talented and deeply loves playing the saxophone. (Good decision on switching from the clarinet.) Michael keep playing and putting out wonderful songs.

Second time we have seen Michael as a headliner, first was at a venue in Long Beach several years ago. Fantastic show then, as was this one. ML loves his work and spreads the joy. Friendly to and shows respect to his fans. In the top 10 of all sax players on the scene today.

Because this concert was just before Valentine's Day and the artist is a smooth jazz sax player I was concerned it might turn into a dreamy Valentine concert. However, Michael was at his best with amazing backup musicians and plenty of upbeat tunes to keep the audience bouncing around in their seats to the beat. The venue was a great size (not a bad seat in the house) the tickets were inexpensive and we were all disappointed when it was over.
