It was fun for all. We watched most of the practice and enjoyed the day. The kids won the the opportunity to go down on the field and get autographs from a couple of players, so that was kinda cool. However, we had to miss the main part of the practice in order to wait in line for that autograph session, so that was kind of a bummer.

There is no way I could afford to take my family to a regular season Bears game. This experience was so much better, our seats were close to the field and fantastic views. The Bears put on a great show, pulling out all the stops and letting the fans experience what a game would be like. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed this event so much. Not only because our son was able to play with his local team but also because the spirits were high. Everyone there for the same thing food, fun, fellowship, and support. Go Bears!!!

Stadium was completely unprepared for crowd. Couldnt get a hot dog at three different concession stands. Lines were way too long. All kid events were outside stadium in terrible heat. They easily could have been in the stadium in the shade. There were no kid events in the stadium. Fireworks couldn't be seen from our seats. Would not go to this event again.

Bears Family Fest was a fun time! Stadium personnel allowed kids to get up close to the players, which was great. My son was able to get an autograph from Brandon Marshall! One small complaint: since we were encouraged to arrive early due to the Lollapalooza traffic, it would have been nice to have vendors selling bottled water/cold drinks as fans waited in the heat to get in the stadium, we had to trek all the way back to the car for a bottle of water. Overall a very fun and family friendly event for Bear fans, we will definitely attend again next year!

Over all this was fun. But to be honest it was more geared to teenagers and not small kids. I have a 3 year old and there was nothing for him to do. Also a cooling station would have been nice since it was over 90 degrees out. But the autograph sessions were awesome.

Thought pre-practice events was to small and few for amount of people in attendance. Kids were not able to participate in anything cause every booth had lines like great America. Was not worth at all. 2 kids in our group won post practice signatures which was a great gesture until we went down to get them. We went down at 730 to ask booth about it and guy working booth said just come back at 8. I went to shop for something for them to get signatures on luckily my husband stayed outside store and was able to see a huge line form. So we then stood inline for an hour as opposed to being able to watch bears practice. While in line over 20 different people asked us atleast 50 times if we had blue bracelets. Then when they finally took us in they made parents separate from kids. It caused extreme anxiety for kids and for parents. It was organized horribly!!!!!!!!! Both pre-practice and signatures were organized horrible. No desire to attend this event again in future.

The practice was interesting, the fireworks were great, but the "family fest" part was really, really lame. A few inflatables where you could throw or kick a football, but you had to wait in line for twenty HOT minutes to get that privilege. Even had to wait in ridiculous lines to get sad giveaways from the few private companies there. Definitely not worth the price of parking.

I understand that the field was in poor condition but they should of come out and did the introduction and then left. Fans drove from all over the area and did not get to see anyone, pretty sad. my kids are still to young to care (thank god) but i bet there were thousands of upset kids and that is not right. They did offer free food and drink, the lines were horriable and when i got the nochos they tasted old and if i would of paid for that i would of been upset. did not stick around for the fireworks but that was nice of them to do that.

The Bears had kids crying at the event when they found out they jumped of the bus back to bourbonnais. Why couldnt they take 15 minutes of their precious time to greet the fans who waited all week to see them? The chicago bears are a sad organization.

Although the players didn't show up for practice (the field conditions at Soldier Field were not good and they went back to Bourbanais) the event was still fine. They are refunding tickets, offered free food and soda as consolation, and we were sitting right underneath the fireworks which was awesome.

Lines to enter were extremely longer than anticipated. Met and greet should been prior to practice. Kids were not amused watching little league football practice. Unimaginably expensive $8 ticket, no kids hot dogs so I purchased an $8.50 polish, $4.75 bottle of water topping it off $19 to park your vehicle. Pleasant for a one time family outing, my children wanted to see The Bears.

This was the first time I had ever been to Soldier Field which I must say was quite impressive in its self. We took public transportation and getting in and out of the venue was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can honestly say "Kudos" to Soldier Field. The only thing I have a negative attitude about was the concessions. Come on almost $5.00 for a bottle of water and they want to keep the cap? The food was way over priced with our cheapest item being $4,00 for a pretzel. I think we are missing the concept of "Family" here an average family of 4 would spend a small fortune for 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas. I do realize they have to make their money somehow but wow take it easy on the food prices. So finally I would say it's well worth it to go but have lunch or an early dinner before hand.

LOVED THE EVENT. WELL WORTH THE $. ALSO not complaining about high prices, but disappointed in sub-par unprepared vending service. Waited in line for over 25 minutes in 2 different lines - (event starts at 3:00) so at 2:50pm - 1st location (around sec 138 had no hotdog buns), and all I wanted was 2 Jumbo dogs. FINE, at close to 3:00pm - 2nd location (around sec 150) was unprepared for almost everything a customer ordered (I was only 6th in line), like having to fill the cheese for the nachos, popcorn not ready, not even having cups for the beverages, just overall not prepared. Maybe I picked the wrong line, but no motivation to get to the next customer. Maybe someone was new, but from my vantage point it's a management issue (the people with red shirts) were having too much fun with the subordinates (not the customer) with no urgency to take my money. How many hotdogs that weren't sold due to lack of buns is not my concern, just an observation. I didn't buy beer at this "SLOW" location for fear beer might tap out, but went to the beer kiosk where I could see no line-no wait, only to find this guy taking his time while talking & being distracted by another co-worker (couldn't tell if it was a supervisor - hope it wasn't), but had the audacity to think he earned a tip because he didn't want to give me my change from a $20 for 2 beers (believe me he asked). For the record, I did tip the previous vendor who served me 2 beers earlier. Either way I got back to my seat just before 3:30, yes missed some scrimmaging but who cares, right? VENDING GRADE D+

Disappointing! We came around 1:30 pm expecting to join in the activities. There was no direction as to where to go, so we went into the stadium. Once inside we we told that the activities were outside the South End Zone and ending at 2 pm. Also, told if we went out we could not reenter. We then had 2 1/2 hours to sit and watch the team stretch and really do warm ups. We decided at 4:15 pm to leave since no scrimmage or practice game started. The program needs to be better organized. We are season ticket holders and this was not up to Par for the Chicago Bears Organization.

we have been coming to the Bears fest for 4years! we have always taken our unopened product samples into the stadium from the outside fest. this year we had to take them all out!! i was upset. we never have done this before. as we entered the stadium. i seen other people had their samples!!! I did tell customer service. she just apologized and said the security guard might have not known the rules of unopened snacks. my kids were upset because it was their snacks. and we had to leave them outside.

I had a lot of hopes for this event to be fun. I have been a life long Bears fan. I have been watching the games with my son on TV since he was 3. He is now a teenager, and I thought this would be an event that we could see Soldier field and some of the players for real. The fans that showed up behind us took all of the fun out of this event. They were drunk, obnoxious, loud and extremely disrespectful of anyone in the area. They called their buddies over and stole seats to sit together. When the women who purchased those seats arrived ( carrying babies), they fought with them as if the ladies were in the wrong. The person behind me had a toddler who kicked the back of my seat and my shoulder for what seemed like an hour. The parents never apologized or made an effort to stop him. I had to move. Now in my new seat, I had one of their loser friends spitting into a bottle and making me nauseous. I would have loved to had confronted them, but I did not go to this event thinking I would get into a fist fight. The experience went on until I decided I had enough and leaving was a better option than having our experience get worse by the second. In essence, these particular bears fans ruined it and I hope in some way, Karma gets them and life does not work out so well for them. ALL OF THEM! I will never forget this bad experience and question ever going to see the Bears again. sorry, but I feel that way right now.

The on-field portion of the event was good. The practice pace was quick and things kept moving. The outside portion was also good. Many things to keep the kids occupied. While better than last year, the in-stadium portion was still a mess. How do you run out of hot dogs, soda and even lids for the cups? The wait for concessions was better than last year, but still way too long to get a hot dog and soda. The staff was far more friendly than last year, when they acted like prison guards. Letting the kids run on the field was also a good idea, but very badly executed. Lining the kids and parents up on the east concourse was a chaotic mess. Between the people trying to leave their seats, the kids lined up with their parents, the narrow concourse, too many push carts and no exits there was a dangerous mass of too many people that could have lead to disaster if someone fell down or the crowd started to rush. Overall, not a bad event but it has a long way to go to be a good event.

Overall the event was fun and exciting especially for my 5yr old. She enjoyed the airbrush tattoo, free popsicles and giveaways. The food was reasonably price considering how expensive it usually is during a season game. We watched most of the scrimmage. The only downside were the long lines especially for the kids to run on the field, the line was wrapped halfway around the stadium at that point my GF and I decided it wasn't worth the wait especially if there was no guarantee she would actually run onto the field. So we left but Jo (5yr old) enjoyed herself and that's all that matters.

It was an enjoyable event overall for the kids. The only complaint I have is with the "Kids run on the field" event. It wasn't properly communicated to me that there were 2 lines that would form depending on the wristband color and where the line would start. We stayed in our seats for the whole practice and when we went to get in line at the end of practice, the line wrapped around the whole stadium. Unfortunately we were unable to participate in this part of the event and my kids were disappointed. I would hope that in the future they could have clearer direction or even add a few more lines to make the wait less.

The practice was much shorter than in years past. Also by it being so early, no more fireworks show. Initially I was excited when I bought the tickets and learned the kids would be allowed on the field. I was sitting right by the area the line the kids up to go on the field. There was not announce made of when or where to line up. By the time I found out the people were lining up, the line was halfway around the stadium. It was too long to wait so we left. This was very disappointing and could have been handled better. I won't be going back. Also 25.00 to park for 2 hours of practice is absurd.

The family fun fest was a very nice event. Altough the tickets was cheap the snacks and food was very expensive. This was our first time here so we were a little unprepared. We got there early to enjoy the lawn events brought 2 $7 waters because it was so hot outside once we got to the gate we had to throw them away altough we brought them from their vendors. By the end of the day I had brought 3 $7 waters. The hot dogs I brought from different people and the price changes from person to person ($7.25 $7.50 $7.75). The pizza was good for a $9 slice can't remember how much the lemonades were. But you get the point it got kind of costly for my family.

Bears Family Fest is a GREAT time to enjoy the day with Family and friends. Chicago Bears practice is fun and exciting! I been here for the past 2 years with my son to be 5 year s old son, he always has a blast playing football. You have to start them young! I would love for him to attend the field with The Bears, but we haven t had a chance to attend the field. I asked how early I would have to get there and I was told 7am. I WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR AT 7AM for my son to be able to go to the field and get some autographs.

The Family Fest event is great for the family to enjoy visiting Soldier Field, see their favorite players and celebrate the start to a new season. My sons are 9 and 11, and this is their second year. They enjoyed this year just as much as last, and was glad more family and friends joined them. The ticket cost is reasonably priced so that the whole family could participate in the fun. Much more than I expected. There were bears, fans, family, and Chicago. What's not to like

A dream come true with front row seats for us to see our favorite team! Daughter had a fantastic time seeing everyone including her favorite player Devin Hester #23! Me & my wife always wanted to come to Soldier Field & we finally got the opportunity!

I try to spend mommy and me days with each of my children and I make it all about them. This time was my oldest's turn. He is still thanking me. He didn't know what we were doing until we got to Chicago. Thank you for having a great Family Day and helping me give my son an amazing experience and allowing him to meet and get Jay Cutler's autograph.

This was our first Bears Family Fest. There was something for everyone. The only problems was they only had one gate for entry for none VIPs, and the food lines were too long and the food was very expensive.

My wife and I took our two kids to the Family Fest two years in a row. My 22 month old son had a great time having being able to see our beloved Chicago Bears and doing the wave for his first time. My 4 year old daughter was learning more about football and waiting all night for the fireworks that did not disappoint.

Long line for the family activities with no signs or help from the staff. I came to watch and see the Bears, but practice seemed short and focused more on the south end zone, when we were in the north end zone. Had fun with friends and family, but everything was overpriced. I kept hearing about scratch off cards, that we never got. It sounds like i'm bashing this event, but I did have a fun time. The weather was great! Fireworks were ok, but only lasted 10 minutes. Parking ($22) was excellent (both in and out).

This was me and my family first year attending this event. I must say it was just amazing seeing the guys out there on the field. Me and my family are going to make this a tradition to attend this event every year.

The Fun Fest was nice but the pre-fest activities were crowded with extremely long lines. The lines to get wrist bands to run on the field were very long. They did not have enough people to handle the lines for wrist bands. It was very hard for parents with small kids to wait in line for over 40 minutes. Overall a great event but they need to be a bit more organized.

It was an ok event. I expected more interaction with the players and more give-a-ways. If you have small kids it might be cool as they let some kids onto the field to meet players. Don't think it was worth the money and would not do it again.

Had a great time with my family. Wish the food and drinks weren't so expensive. Also wish they did more things with the kids on the field so they can interact with the players. Also I think this event would have been better if it was at night. It was to hot and the fireworks would look a lot better if it was dark outside.

After waiting in line for nearly 90 minutes the young staffer said the alumni autograph line was over-- even though there were only 15 more people to go. Take a lesson from the Blackhawks and hand out wristbands. Another 60 minute wait to throw a football. Just not that much to do. Unclassy fight on the field followed by an unexciting scrimmage. Much improvement needed.

I really think that this is a awesome and fun experience for kids that is very affordable! I have gone the past 2 years and my boys have really enjoyed themselves. We will continue to go every year! Drive 4 hours from Iowa

The outside area grounds were fun and interactive. Once in I thought the aisle support from the Bears was rude, this event is all about the kids. If the kids want to stand near the stair way to see a player or possibly get an autograph from a player they should be allowed to do so, again it's family day. Only a handful of players acknowledged the kids, for example Mr. Cutler, Mr. Long did not even make eye contact with any children in the seats. Maybe I am wrong but this is relaxed day and the program is driven around the families, it would be nice for the players to acknowledge the children when they are calling their names or to simply wave or say hello or sign their autograph. At the end the players and their families walked on the field and not one player acknowledged the children who were there to see them, we were asked to leave our seats several times by Bears personnel. I thought a lot of this could have been handled better, it felt a little cold with the atmosphere from some of the above items I mentioned, which is why I am stating the experience is average which could be so much more.

Seeing the Bears with our niece and nephew was the best time. So much kid activities and cheap food options and of course free samples. Recommended!

Perfect way to take family and friends to soldier Field and enjoy some tailgating. It's good that they give you the roster of all the players. Lots of activities for every personality.

good event with family-friendly attractions on the grounds. however, closing the kids attractions over an hour before the on-field practice starts is ridiculous. attractions should be open continuously (never close) or maybe 15 minutes before the on-field starts. the on-field was very un-energetic and I saw a lot of bored looking kids. i recommend more action to build crowd energy -- maybe have player 'pop-ups' in the stands. i mean, eddie royal wasn't participating in practice -- so instead of hanging around the field doing nothing, have him 'pop up' in section 251 for a couple of minutes to greet fans. the fans need to see these guys up-close in order to really get into the team. crowd control was great. good event if you've got nothing else on your calendar. price is right. but needs more energy.

My boys had a blast, the only downside was some of the vendors ran out of give aways, and that was disappointing to the kids.
