Grandaddy

I saw Grandaddy 12 years ago and they were great then. I'm happy to say, they are like wine and get better with age. I have seen bands reunite to do a tour and talk on stage about how they mended their differences and then play the songs without their original thunder. As for Grandaddy, the thunder is still there and it was great to hear the songs sound as fresh when their classic albums came out. They still amaze, inspire and and make you feel the music. Their screen visuals add to the show without steeling any intensity from their music. Even the few songs I did not know, I enjoyed as if i had heard them before. I can honestly say there was not a weak moment from this band who undoubtably gave their all. They know how much their funs love their music and it obvious they love it too.

But they still put on a great show. Venue was amazing. Would definitely see a show there again!

Great show by a great band. Glad to see them back playing together. The Fonda Theatre is a great venue to see a show...besides the $24 drinks. Lesson learned...liquor up first. Otherwise, great event.

The band sounded amazing... very tight, very polished performances... Jason was in good spirits and the band played a great setlist that seemed to please all present.

Amazing Earlimart and Grandaddy show after not having toured since 2006.

It's always great to hear a band for the first time live and realize they sound just as good as the CD. This was the case with Grandaddy. Hopefully they'll be getting back together beyond this tour. They were great!

Cross this off my bucket list. I finally saw the one band I thought I'd never see. Everything about this show was excellent, from the performance to the venue.
