Although not that impressed with JC Andersen, was pleasantly surprised with Ira Dean's performance....but no one parallels Jeffrey Steele! Steele is the reason we drove for a day (well, round trip) to the Wildhorse. He consistently delivers a high energy and heartfelt show, no matter what the occasion. The only reason I rated the whole eve with 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was a bit disappointed that JS did not ring in the New Year during his show - he left by 11:00 p.m. With him headlining and being the draw for the night, we thought he would rock out til the early morning hours of 1-2 a.m., as he has many shows in the past played for 3-4 hours.

Well, he did it again...a great show!!! I've been to several JS shows, and he always pulls it off...he's a true entertainer to the core, with the hits to back it up. His voice seems to be getting even better...if that's possible...man that guy can sing!!! Surprised he only played until 11:00 though, since it was a New Year's Eve celebration...only an hour and a half...usually Jeff plays for 3 hours or more. We had VIP tix and the food was good, view was good...brought some friends who had never seen Jeff play and I think they were expecting a typical songwriter show...they had no idea. I think they were blown away. JC Andersen and Ira Dean were good too. :-)

Songs were heart felt. Went from soft slow songs to up tempo. Went to both shows. Second one was a little different than the first. Great showmanship. What a musician... Cant wait till he comes back...

Pure driven energy from start to finish. A perfect, almost 3 hour show that left the audience wanting more. Jeff is a great songwriter, guitar player, piano player and singer.

This was my first Jeffrey Steele concert and it will not be my last. Great voice, great set, great venue (although the casino setting led to many blue-hairs in the crowd). Friends recommended seeing him in concert and he did not disappoint. He played for nearly 3 hours. His style is part rock, part country, and part southern rock. We had an absolute blast! Go see this guy - he's the best singer you never heard of!

This man is a consumate performer. My wife and I make sure we see any of his performances at Fallsview Casino. We can't thank them enough for booking him every year. The string of hit songs he has written is unbelievable, and when he performs them...well...it totally blows the audience away every time!

Another through the roof performance by Jeffrey Steele and his backup band of talented musicians. His April 17, 2010, Saturday night show (almost 3 hours) showcased his songwriting, humor, and guitar work. The Fallsview Casino supplies one of the top venues to experience a show. Any fan of country music should look for this show to return in the future.

For everyone complaining they didn't pay $150 for only 1 1/2 hours of Jeffrey Steele, that's right. You didn't. You paid $150 for NYE at the Wildhorse which included a fabulous buffet (that had something for everyone), 3 bands, ariel artists, stilt walkers, a magician, live tables and dancers. Just as advertised. The night was amazing and very different from any other NYE I've ever been to. I could have watched the ariel artists all night long. Also one of the managers went to EVERY VIP table and explained that they could move their chairs in front of the rail once they were set up and before those with lower priced tickets were allowed on the dance floor. You want all Steele all the time, go to one of his other shows in town where it's just him.(which for some here complaining still isn't enough) But on NYE, the Wildhorse delivered exactly what they advertised and it was worth every penny.

I was very disappointed in the New Years Eve celebration. For the price of the tickets, I feel we did not get the best price. He didn't play very long and the last performance we saw in February was awesome which is why we came back this time. We will not be going back.

I saw Jeffrey Steele New Years Eve. This is my second time to see him concert. I came back cause his concert in February was incredible. I was very disappointed. I was hoping he would play longer but he didn't. I was hoping he would be playing when the New Year came in. The crowd just wasn't that into either and I could hear others down the table from us complain as well. Oh well. LIfe is full of disappointments but as my boyfriend stated when we left - we won't be going back.

I think for 50.00 plus tax Jeffrey Steele should have played longer than 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was very disappointed...

I knew there'd be a buffet. I knew there'd be JC Andersen and Ira Dean opening for Jeffrey. I knew there'd be dancers, and aerialists. What I didn't know was that Jeffrey would only be playing for about 90 minutes and leaving the stage well before midnight. I've seen Jeffrey several times at various venues around Nashville. He always plays a 3 or 4 hour set. It was a huge disappointment, given the price of the ticket, that he left the stage so early. What he played was great, as always, but not enough.

$150 for the evening event which included Jeffrey Steele & the band. Plenty of food and pre-concert activities to keep your attention (acrobatics, house line-dancers) and children were present among the guest. A pretty safe environment for NYE. Jeffrey and band played a "portion" of his regular set with Pearl Heart for backup on some. A great little surprise...glad to see J.S. supporting them & their career. The REAL surprise of the evening was that Jeffrey Steele & band began playing at 9:00 p.m. His fans are used to him playing 3 - 4 hours that rock the house. At 11:00 p.m., Jeffrey Steele closed with "Tush"..his usual sign off song. At that's exactly what they did. After stating something like, "We've got something else we have to be at.." the curtains closed, roadies snatched up equipment and the band was gone! Hahahahaha. People were sitting there staring at the curtains and saying, "Is that it?" "Is he coming back?" For a long while fans wouldn't move. They just staring at the curtain. :-) Then they started getting mad. It was pretty ugly. Furious remarks. I guess they were expecting J.S. & Band to take them into the midnight hour for their $150. I was surprised as well, but I'm a big girl and went on instead of sitting with among the negativity. Lower Broadway had music and fireworks to be had and I was out the door! For the 2 hours Jeffrey Steele played it was classic Steele. Never disappointed in a J.S. show. He and the band give 100% and rock to their fullest. Rock on Jeffrey...rock on!!

Loved Jeffrey Steele's performance but really disappointed that he only played for about 1 1/2 hours. He was off the stage of a New Year's Eve concert featuring Jeffrey Steele shortly after 11. Will not do this again.

NewYearDisappointment
The evening was not a success. We purchased VIP tickets for $150.00 each and had to drag our chairs to the front of the stage to prevent those with $50 tickets from blocking our view when they rushed in. Jeffrey is always GREAT, but to sell him as the headliner and limit is show to 1:20 is not at all what we expected. The hip-hop dancers and aerial artists were OK but not on the same bill with a talent such as Jeffrey on such a special night. We have seen Jeffrey play for 5 hours and we truly expected more of a show. Ira Dean was nice addition and the right kind of opening act for Jeffrey. The food was OK for a buffet, but next time we will buy the cheapest tickets save $200 to be used at Morton's or some other hign end eatery and arrive at show time and stand up front with the cheap ticket guys. I will be talking later with WILDHORSE about this event. Very Disappointing.

I first started listening to Jeffrey when I moved to Atlanta about 10 years ago. I heard him at Swallow at the Hollow, and I've been following him ever since. He is an unbelievably talented songwriter and performer. On stage, I think he's dynamic and you can tell he loves what he does. I love his mix of songs...some with deep meaning, others just fun. If you ever see him perform in person, I promise you'll come back again. And, ladies , he is sooooo easy to watch, and he's got a sexy little smile too! But in all seriousness, he's extremely talented. When I found out at the last minute he was playing at Wild Bill's this past weekend, I even changed my vacation dates so I could be here to see him perform. If you ever get a chance to hear him performs his own songs, DON'T MISS IT!

Jeffrey puts on a show like no other singer/songwriter you've heard. He is energetic, he is funny, he is talented, he has the whole crowd rockin' until well in the morning. You get your money's worth (and more!). Do not miss Jeffrey when he comes to town.

On a good note Jeffery Steele put on a awesome show. The energy and natural talent he has is infectious to the crowd. I was expecting for it to sound sorta like a cover band, but he has such a vocal range and his guitar skills was above expedations that everything sounded original. We really enjoyed the show from such a incredible singer songwriter. On a bad note, we have been to many events at Wild Bills, and We enjoy the nightclub but they seem to have a consistent problem with starting on time. Many times we have gone and the ticket says 9:30 showtime and it doesn't start until 10:30 or 11:00. I do wish they would concerntrate on being more prompt with their start times. But they do continue to bring great talent to a great venue.

A fabulous entertainer and awesome songwriter, Jeffrey Steele is one of my favorite artists! He's a little more rock now than he used to be, which I love, and sprinkles some Zepplin, Creedence and U2 into the mix for those of us who remember the best of those bands. Jeffrey always puts on a wonderful show and has a very talented band with him--Stevie, Tom and Rusty are the best! Well worth seeing again and again!
