The club had a decent layout with three bars, a merch area, two pool tables, TVs showing sports, and mens/womens bathrooms. Some stage and atmosphere lights hung from the ceiling with a couple of big speakers. They played a lot of Hatebreed, Slayer, and Lamb of God between sets. The staff was okay and the place seemed clean overall. 1st act (forget name) had sort of a sludgy doomcore feel. They were what you'd expect from an opening act - some good riffs, fair energy on stage, and not that memorable. 2nd act (forget name) had a more traditional hardcore sound. More of the crowd was into their act which was okay overall. 3rd act (Texas in July) was fun to watch and fun to listen to. They shredded tight math-metal breakdowns and were a good lead-in to the headliner. I was happy to scoop their CDs after the show. 4th act (Unearth) was the reason everyone was there and it was great to see them in a small club again. The drawback was that the sound system couldn't handle what they had to offer and much of the set sounded muddy. (This was the case the whole night, not just for them.) Even so, they brought energy and played the favorites going back as far as "My Heart Bleeds No Longer." Having seen these guys many times before, I could tell they were a little rusty (this was their first tour stop) and missed a few cues. The mic cut out midway through the final song, but still, a lot of fun to see Unearth live.

This concert was absolutely unforgettable! They played an entire album start to finish and just brought their A-Game 100%. Not to mention, Texas in July was also amazing. They went hard and made sure the fans were engaged. Openers Cruel Hand and Armed for Apocalypse are so talented and made sure we were all having fun. Every band had a decently long setlist and let fans sing along in the mike. There was definite crowd surfing and people joining on stage. All the vocalists were surprisingly fine with this. Hands down, I'd see all these bands again!

The show was awesome. The lineup was pretty good but the sound was very distorted. Sound guys were ramming up on all levels and it was difficult to understand. Also, the second floor was for All Access only which is strange, you could only go up there if you needed the restroom.

Second time I've seen them, and they rocked hard again. If you haven't seen this band, you need to. 'Nuff said.

I love Unearth and their performance was great as same as usual! However, all support acts except Carnifex are hard-core bands rather than heavy metal, so, for me, it doesn't make sense why the tour called Atticus Metal Tour. Though I know that the music of Unearth is cross-over of hardcore and heavy metal, I want them choose more technically mature heavy metal bands for support acts.

The show started with a bang and ended with a bang. I'm a huge Carnifex fan, but it was unfortunate to only see them play 4 songs. I would have rather seen them mainstage or second stage the event because they are heavier than both Veil of Maya and Stick to Your Guns. The Ghost Inside put on a good show, but Veil of Maya and Stick to Your Guns were ehh. Unearth made up for that though, bringing down the house with their set list, a job well done. Club Firestone is a cool little joint, I liked how I was able to go outside and get some fresh air without actually leaving the event.

First and foremost, i am a super huge fan of many different genres of metal, and this concert delivered what i was looking for. For the fans of hardcore, no one does it better than terror and hatebreed, but a very close second and getting better everytime i see them is the ghost inside. awesome lyrics, powerful and self-motivating. lots and lots of energy on stage. Carnifex did not do it for me as i do not like the death metal aspect of the great metal genres we have. STYG was awesome, a first for me and they blew me away. Veil of maya was also a first for me, not my favorite of the night, but not a bad metal performance. And finally Unearth. what can i say, unearth is freaking amazing and if you like shredding and killer breakdowns than why haven't you bought a ticket yet?

Great show!!! Highly recommended to anyone who likes this type of music. Definitely did well live. No lip synching or too much singing with the audience/audience participation. It was well worth the drive.

What a great show! Opening bands were amazing and were a great compliment for Unearth, especially For The Fallen Dreams! First time at Mohawk Place, and they need to keep having great shows like this! Its great to see one of your favorite metal bands play at a stage like Ozzfest or Mayhem but to see them at a small local bar and be so close I could touch Ken Suzi's guitar while he was tearing it up, it was both unexpected and exactly what I prefer! My only disappointment was that they only played for about an hour.
