Saliva

Saliva's 2002 “Back into Your System” album release not only put the band on the map, but shot them to No. 19 on the Billboard 200 charts. Saliva's biggest hit from the album, "Always," topped the Modern Rock Chart at No. 1 and No.

As always, Saliva brought their A game. If you haven't seen them with Bobby Amaru, you're missing out. Their set was only about an hour long, they should and could have easily played a 90 min set (so they could have played a song or two from Rise Up)

It was our first time at the State theater and we had such a great time. The bands that performed were all good and the drinks were inexpensive. It was my first time seeing Saliva in person and I loved them! Great night!

Saliva was great. I'll be going again if they're anywhere near my town again! It was a small venue, plenty of interaction with the crowd. They played a song that fans requested online. I have no voice or hearing this morning!

I've seen Saliva 6 times and they continue to rock my world every time. Josey Scott has a great voice and style. The band can go from hard rock to rock rap to sweet southern drawled ballads so that you never tire of the same old beats. They change it up like no band out there today and interact with the audience; whipping them into a pure rock frenzy of energy.

Great show from opening to Saliva! Great set list truly playing their Greatest Hits on this tour .They do an awesome club show and I would definitely recommend it. It was worth the extra $5 for the front section. I was literally a foot from the stage.

Concert was great. Great line up. Great venue. Small private. Right near stage. Good that was on a weeknight, Allowed for smaller crowd. Only complaint was the times were not listed right. Said doors open at 8, first act at 9, headliner at 10. Showed up at 8:45 and turned out first act played at 8. Missed fiorst band. But good show otherwise.

Concert was very good. Have seen them when they were better, but was still very good. Will definitely see them again, if they come to Grand Rapids. A little dry in parts, and could have done without the songs from other old bands. Saliva has enough great songs of their own. They don't need to play other bands songs.

The show was everything I expected and more! Saliva's sound was exactly like their recordings, which is not the case with a lot of bands. The venue was large enough for any band to consider, but small enough so that fans could actually feel like they were part of the show and get close to the stage. I can't wait to attend another event at this venue.

Saliva themselves were absolutely awesome. It was a small venue so we were right up front. The one of the opening acts was pretty terrible and they like to spit a lot of water on you. Ladies and Gentlemen, please. This concert was a pleasure to me. Montoya was a feast for my eyes to see. An explosion of court jestery... Seriously, awesome concert. Josey's vocals sounded great. Rhythm guitarist Jonathan Montoya was outrageous. His off the wall antics were entertainment by themselves. I loved the hits and the new songs too. I was very excited to hear " Rest in Pieces" live, as they don't always play that. My fave songs of the night were Rest in Pieces, Always and new song Family Reunion. I also liked the medley of covers they played that included The Wall and Shout. The only con was that Saliva was on at 11pm which is late but that is probably the venue's doing. Nice smaller venue though!

Saliva has a new lead singer as of 2012. While I miss the stage presence that Josey brought, Bobby Amaru did a great job of keeping the crowd engaged and rocking the whole time. The 4 bands put up an amazing show. Heart Set Self Destruct, a band that I had never heard off before, had plenty of energy in the stage. The singer did great in getting the crowd started for the night. Overall, songs were good, and hopefully these young guys will keep on climbing up. Cute singer and drummer. Anew Revolution was a band I was really looking forward too. I really believe these guys will be famous someday. They had the crowd jumping and fists all over the air. The bass did a great job supporting the lead singer as he was killing the guitar. Drummer has crazy skills. The voice the singer has lots of value. The pitch and tone he would reach made people want to scream along with him! Best song of them was Broken Bones. The singer, joey is from the Valley, so you could tell they were rocking it even more with the home vibe. Filter was the best of the night! Crowd jumping in unison, horns all over! This was also the most crowd interaction out of the other bands. There was crowd participation with the usual "hell yeah/fuck yeah" screaming. They were pretty cool when a little kid invaded the stage, they played it cool with the guy and allowed him to head bang with the big boys. The mosh pit was pretty rowdy, but no injuries. OVERALL, FREAKING AWESOME! Saliva rocked! The performance they pulled was of 4.5stars. Best songs were BADASS and ALWAYS! They also did a bit of We WILL ROCK YOU, and as a huge QUEEN fan, I loved it (the crowd sang along insanely). After the show, AR and HSSD, provided the fans with class A hospitality. They were all pretty cool and not the type who lets 'fame' get to their heads. Pictures, signatures, and conversations were had. I got to hang out with AR for about 25mins, and even scored some free goodies. The guys are just amazingly cool and laid back. Saliva showed up later, once they finished the meet and greet with those lucky ones with special passes. They took pictures and signed autographs for everyone else. Filter was the only one who didn't made the big appearance, but it was because they were being interviewed by the local radio station.

I took a friend with me to this concert, usually I go with my husband, and as we were waiting for the show to start we were given meet and greet passes so we got to go backstage and meet the members of Saliva and Filter. They were very nice and let us take a picture with all of them. The show was amazing!! I had seen Saliva before so I knew they would be great but I had never seen Filter before so I wasn't sure what to expect. They deffinitely didn't disappoint. I look forward to seeing them both again in the future.

I was kind of at dissapointed out the turn out for the concert to begin with. This was my first concert at Heartland Events Center, so I am not use to such a small venue. Saliva played more cover songs than their own, but I wasn't there for them. Anew Revolution was really good, and I wish the radio station 103.1 fm up here would have played some of their music before the concert. Filter was the reason I went and I know they were bummed at the small crowed and lack of noise, but once again the radio station 103.1fm doesn't really play their music, but besides that Richard Patrick and the band put on a fantastic show and I hope to be able to see them again but maybe in the Lincoln or Omaha area!

We drove in from Houston (to Baton Rouge) to see the show for a mini weekend getaway. The Texas Club is a cool bar/music hall. The opening bands were really good (Digital Summer and Merryweather). The bar is really suited for live music and the bands didn't disappoint. The energy level was high and the crowd was really into it. The one drawback was the music did overpower the singing - the mics could have been turned up so the words popped out more.

we were really not thrilled with the concert. To begin the venue was not a huge place and it was way too loud. I think even standing far back we walked out with hearing loss. We really liked them before but after the concert we were really disappointed. Also they really didn't do a great job mixing in the new stuff with old stuff. It seemed like all new stuff and the two great songs were left at the end when you couldn't wait for it to be over. I think if the volume of amps and such was lessened, at least you could enjoy the music more.

Saliva arrived at the Norva on Saturday ready to rock the house! Playing favorites like Click Click Boom, Ladies & Gentlemen, and Your Disease which had the crowd amped. Then they rolled out some of their new stuff from their new album "Under Your Skin" by playing hits like Bad Ass, Burn It Up, and Toxic Suicide! After the concert we met up with the band at the meet & greet. Every band member was present to talk to us, sign autographs, and hang out. Every one of them greeted us with gratitude for showing up tonight - a very down to earth group of guys! Special thanks goes out to Paul Crosby for the drum sticks and the hospitality. Rev Theory warmed up the stage for Saliva with tunes like Hell Yeah, Light It Up, and one of my favorites - JUSTICE. Overall the concert was great! The Norva should have more security guys working the floor to keep the "hyperactive mosher's" from banging into fellow fans and causing their drinks to spill on the floor and on ourselves! NOT COOL!

Never heard of most of the bands, arrived around 8pm. Dimitri's Rail was pretty good, especially liked the addition of the electronic violin - there's something you don't see every day. This was the best show I have ever seen at tunica and i have seen alot of shows there before. Saliva rocked the house and played harder than any other band i think i've seen. This band is definetly dedicated to there fans and giving them a great show, and it was great that i just happened to be right up against the stage up close and personal.
