Kamelot

For the first time in my life, finally I saw kamelot live, it was all I ever wanted and more, the place, the sound, everything was spotless.

What an amazing show. The crowd was great and the bands were beyond what I imagined. Awesome crowd interaction such as taking people s phones up on stage to record or letting us strum their guitars. Couldn t recommend it any more.

Overall this was an awesome show. The bands did great, particularly my favorite band, Delain, but Kamelot and Battle Beast were also amazing. The one negative was the show started over an hour late due to a false fire alarm. This mean the bands had to cut their sets a bit shorter which was a bummer. Hoping Delain will get a headlining show soon...

I must say I was very disappointed when I found out that Roy Kahn had left the band. His voice made the band. Fabio Lione was good, but he made the band sound more like Queensryche than the Kamelot I was familiar with. I would of thought twice before I purchased the ticket if I knew beforehand that Roy was leaving the band. And I think Fabio said New York Ciiiiiiiity at least 25 times during the show. (Like I didnt know where I was.)

Kamelot were EXCELLENT! Fabio sounded great, I hope he becomes their permanent new singer! I was so glad the show was on, after fearing it being cancelled because of Hurricane Irene

The Band: Saw the show on Sunday night and thought Fabio Lione did a fabulous job on vocals and Roy would be proud! However, Kamelot isn't Kamelot without Roy Khan and it wouldn't be fair to expect Fabio Lione to be Roy, but kudos to the Fabio. Absolutely worth the wait - almost two years as the show last year was cancelled due to Roy's health. Youngblood and Grillo were outstanding! The Hall: A small hall - The acoustics in the hall aren't the best and the definition was not clear. The proximity to the band is the best part about this hall - It's almost personal!

Kamelot puts on an amazing show, and at Jaxx you can be in the back of the room and still see the sweat drip off their faces. It's really nice to see a band that sells out shows in the thousands in Europe at such a small venue. It makes the concert all that more enjoyable.

Alestorm was by far the most entertaining band of the night, but Kamelot was great to listen too as well. I loved the energy that both bands brought and the venue was perfect to either sit back and listen or if you wanted to be a part of the dancing.

Got into Kamelot 1 album ago and have loved them ever since. The Agonist did not make the Atlanta show, not sure but methinks the hurricane had something to do with that. Blackguard delivered, as they always do, with a blistering set, albeit having a friend fill in for an ill member. I have never seen them give a weak performance. The surprise of the night goes to Alestorm. People love this band and there's a ton of fun when they hit the stage-not shocking but the fans dress like pirates and they also have a great time. I remember a bunch of guys irish dancing during No Quarter and it was hilarious. People loved to sing along and Alstorm did not disappoint. After checking the lights a million times (and shining it in my face quite often), Kamelot took the stage firing on all cylinders and never let up. The fill in singer was more than awesome-kind of reminded me of how Geoff Tate used to commmand a crowd. I think that I remember them playing three songs off the new 'Poetry' album, The Great Pandemonium, The Hunters Season and Necropolis. The rest were some gems like Haunted and March of Mephisto. Great set, greta energy and, of course, a cameo by one of metal's mightiest maidens-Simone from Epica. Go see these guys, you will be glad that you did.

Just saw them in Atlanta. Very disappointed that Khan is no longer with them but the new lead singer is on par with his talent. The show was awesome.

Really didn't like the music , I couldn't understand the lyrics. It all sounded the same. If you do go to this show alestorm is well worth the ticket price very entailing band very energetic...

Kamelot played a really solid show, and Fabio Lione was fantastic as the lead vocalist. I know the band isn't the same without Khan, but this is as close as it's going to get to classic Kamelot without having him back. I took off one star for needing to bring all guest vocals. Note: Despite saying so on the official Kamelot website and tour poster, The Agonist didn't play in Atlanta.

I love them. They sound even better live. I can't recommend enough!

I ve been waiting for Kamelot to come into town and it was worth waiting for. Hope to see them again.

This was an all-around great show! The Fillmore in Charlotte is a really wonderful venue. The staff is friendly and respectful. The fans were great too. I was there mainly for DragonForce, who put on a wonderful show. Those guys are entertaining, funny, and great musicians. I had never seen Kamelot, but in the style of symphonic metal they are clearly very accomplished and professional. I had a great time!!!

The venue was clean, and well managed. Dragonforce and Kamelot were amazing, and I recommend anyone who enjoys their music to see either band, as they are fantastic. The Civic Theatre was nice, as well.

From start to finish the show hadn't a single dead moment. The musical talent was incredible.

What can you say about camelot! Great band, awesome music, awesome musicians, good lyrics, great vibe! Loved it!

Kamelot put on a great show from beginning to end. Their collaboration with the opening Instrumental Band was great. Hopefully they will return soon.

Was a very good performance! But a bit short... I meen, the others grups was good but maybe a long. However, Kamelot was shor... But dosn't matter, Kamelot is amezing!

With a line up consiting of the glorious Agonist, BlackGuard, and Alestorm, there was absolutely nothing that Kamelot could do wrong to ruin the night. I would say that I was satisfied before Kamelot even stepped foot on the stage. It was a fantastic show and I cannot help but reminisce about while enjoying some of their tunes. Simone Simons accepted the band's performance perfectly. I will be counting the days until another show, once I see tour dates scheduled for this area in the future.

Life-changing. I was maybe ten feet from the stage and got to actually meet some of the bards who sing in my dreams. And who are how I got through some of the ugliest times in my life and found light again. Sounds melodramatic, but true.

The only reason for my attendance was to see Delain, but I was pleasantly surprised. Battle Beast was great; very energetic, engaging, and the music was great! Delain was amazing. I am a big fan and the do not disappoint. I had only heard a bit of Kamelot here and there. But, I have to say they are awesome! What a great show all around. And everything was very efficient. I think the wait time between bands was like 15 or 20 minutes max. Would definitely see all the bands again!

What a show! I was on the fence as I was already going to the show at HOB in Orlando the night before, but I decided since it was the last night of the show I would go. That was the correct choice! The bands. First off, I had never heard of Battle Beast before this event. Let me tell you they were the surprise of the evening! They were great! If you are into Metal, and you have a chance, GO!!! They have an almost classic 80's hair band/metal vibe. I was mainly there to see Delain...and they put on one HELL of a show. Kamelot did not disappoint either. OK, so the venue. This was my first time at Revolution Live. Having seen them at HOB the night before, I can say that there was an issue with the sound (both venues really, but HOB might have been slightly better). It is common I guess for small venues, and I think the register that these vocalists perform in is difficult, but the vocals were getting washed out. Knowing most of the lyrics, it was easy for me to follow along, but if you are not familiar with a particular band, it can be quite difficult to understand the lyrics. With that being said though, I do not think this is an issue specific to Revolution live, but trying to get almost operatic vocals out of these types of systems just does not seem to work well. Other then that, the venue was great. Everyone (read: bouncers) were firm but professional maintaining order in the lines before the show and during the VIP meet and great. Everything went on schedule and felt very professional. No complaints at all.

First of all, I would like to say, I have been several times to this Venue and I really like that you can see the artists live from any angle and close to the stage. My first time seeing all these bands performing. I was really looking forward to KAMELOT and DELAIN since I'm a big fan! Opening act Battle Beast was ok. DELAIN followed with an incredible hour performing most of their greatest hits and I most say--I loved them! KAMELOT surprised me and blew me away. They sounded so perfect, the vocals, sang all their best songs and showmanship! KAMELOT's concert turned out to be my favorite concert of all time! Keep rocking!

Epic concert, I traveled from Caribbean just for this and it was worth every penny of it! I love the band and the energy was incredible!!!

I absolutely loved Kamelot, Battle Beast, and Delain's performances!!! The venue felt like the perfect size for the concert and allowed me to feel close to the stage from wherever I stood. It wasn't too packed, so it was comfortable to move around and have breathing room.

BattleBeast was great! Delain was awesome! Kamelot is an amazing talent! They are one of my favorite bands and I really hope I get to see them again!

Excellent line up from start to finish. Battle Beast, Delain, Kamelot were a trio of perfection. HOB on the other hand failed me miserably with not knowing who's doing what, services provided ahead of time and not being honored when arrived. 1 plus hour delay that could have been easily announced to everyone but fell flat on the HOB face! This however did not fail the performances they were awesome to say the least.

Waited in line an extra hour because the venue did not open the doors on time. The bands were awesome, the sound was great if you were in the general area the entire time but sounded weird in different corners and sections of the building. The upper level was closed to the general public but did not have signs or staff letting people know. If going to this venue make sure you bring a fully supply of your patience with you.

It was a good balance of their current release and Haven, and some classic past songs. I've been listening to them for many years, and would love to see them play all of my favorite songs... It would be a six hour concert though!

Battle beast I had never heard them before but they were impressive! Delain was great her voice is amazing and the the band overall too. Kamelot left me speachless his voice was just like in recordings but better his interaction with the public is unmatched!

Battle Beast was good, but I found the singer too screamy.. Delain was completely new to me and a very pleasant surprise, Went out and purchased all their CD's after the concert. Kamelot - well, what can I say - They performed extremely well, but for me the concert was completely ruined by the sound engineer. I wasleaning against the side wall if the sound booth, and the drums completely killed the keyboards and also the vocals when he wasn't singing at full power. After i hour 15 mins, I couldn't take more, so I left :-(

Great concert, Kamelot performed great and Delain was awesome. Battle Beast opened and pump everyone up!

Battle Beast and Delain were excellent! Kamelot was unwatchable as the light show blinded the audience.. halogen strobe lights should not be allowed! I had sunglasses on and a hat and could not look at the stage or performers without being blinded! Lighting should be subtle not overwhelmingly bright. Kamelot ruined their presence and performance with overkill lighting!

All of the bands were great, especially Kamelot. The venue (Center Stage) was also great for the event.

This is a great smaller venue. All three bands were awesome!

All 3 bands were really good. Audience interaction was average.

Battle Beast, Delain, and Kamelot we're all amazing. All three bands should have had more stage time because they were all phenomenal. The music and energy were high and the venue was great. If you haven't seen this tour yet, get your tickets.

First of all, I loved this venue. House of Blues was fantastic. Probably the best sound I have heard in a dozen concerts I've been to. I hadn't seen Kamelot live before and they were fantastic. Battle Beast and Delain were both very good in support.

Delain was perfection and Kamelot was just as good live as they are in studio.

If you've never seen Kamelot, you're doing yourself a disservice. They are an amazing symphonic power metal band from Florida, with many progressive elements in their music. Their newest singer, Tommy Karevik, who has been on the last three albums, has one of the best voices in the industry, with an impressive range. The opening bands Battle Beast and Delain really knew how to get the fists pumping and the crowd energized, and Kamelot stole the night as the headliner, inviting Charlotte Wessels from Delain to sing on "Sacrimony." Kamelot also used the backing vocal talents of Lauren Hart, for some death vocals, as well as clean female vocals. The bands were amazing, and the House of Blues is an awesome venue with excellent acoustics.

One of the best shows I've ever been in! Three equally amazing bands: Battle Beast warmed up the crowd but they could have easily been the main act. Delain charming and powerful as always Kamelot is concentrated experience and awesomeness. It was a must go concert for every symphonic metal lover.

Delain stole the show. They were, and are far better musicians than Kamelot.

I always love going to the Fillmore. People are great, service is nice, as well. It's the 3rd time I've seen Kamelot. They put on a great show

Every Kamelot show I've seen has been weaker than the last. It's not really a fault of the new band, but it was remarkable how much clearer the opening acts sounded. Several songs were unrecognizable. Irving Plaza was unacceptably slow in getting people inside, so most of the crowd missed Battle Beast save for a song or two. At least open the doors earlier! Poor experience overall, especially for a sold out show. May see them again, but not at this venue and not without seeing the setlist first.

This was the first time I was at your venue. The place is great. The bands were awesome. I definatley will be going to more shows in the future. I also liked the fact you shared the amazing pictures your employees took of the show.

Came here for the Battle Beast/Delain/Kamelot show, purchased VIP M&Greet to it. Wanted to meet Delain for 7 years and thank them for a dark part of my life to thank them for changing that. Oh man did all of the bands put on a HELL of a show. The sounds aren't overwhelming for the venue compared to one locally near me. I would definitely go to this venue again if any of the 3 bands return to this location in a heartbeat!

It was an amazing high-caliber concert for a ridiculously low price ticket!!!

That is one for the Memory Banks, what an Incredible show. First time Battle Beast & Delain, Charlotte Wessels twas amazing, definitely worth their hype. 4th time seeing Kamelot, First with new singer, not Roy Khan, which is like saying not Geoff Tate, but done an ample job filling such insane shoes. The venue, small, quaint, everyone respected one another, will definitely revisit.

The show was great. Me and my husband thought the introduction was too long. Took them two hours to finally come out and they finished in two hours. Should have been way longer since the wait was so long. VIP was a great view. Overall good show. We had no complaints. We paid for meet and greet and found out it was before the show. Waste of money and disappointment. We still enjoyed ourselves.

Kamelot puts on a great live show! Lots on energy, gets the audience involved and sounds as great live as on the cds.

Simply spectacular the best power metal ever. I have been waiting to see them a while.

The concert was crazy good. The crowds energy was great. I had a good place to see the band. Kamelot knew how much we like them and came out for some more songs. The only complaint was the sound guy of the venue had the mics to low or the bass to high. Otherwise it was one the best shows I have seen. I can't wait until they come back to Atlanta again.

I have not listened to a lot of Kamelot but they are amazing live. You can really tell that they enjoy what they do and they make an effort to make you feel included in the concert. I do wish that the venue would state what time the concert would actually start. The ticket stated 7:00pm - the doors opened around that time and we we still standing inside for another good hour before the concert finally began. At the end of it I clocked 5hrs without sitting down but the energy of the concert kept me going. I would definitely watch these two live again if I get the chance.

They were both great, Kamelot was better than ever

Kamelot played a diverse set spanning much of their catalog for over 90 minutes. A great stage show and the sound they can produce was nothing short of spectacular. Don't miss this band's live performance! You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed these two bands. Dragon Force stole some of the show despite not being the main band of the evening. I couldn't hear the vocals for Dragon Force but they were very entertaining. Kamelot played some amazing songs and the musicians were very engaging with the audience.

The music was epic. Unfortunately, the sound engineering of the venue wasn't good. The drums over powered everything else. Almost never heard any base. Could barely hear Guitar and vocals.

Kamelot is one of my favorite bands to see live. They play everything just so perfectly that if you're a fan of their music, there's no way that you won't be blown away by their performance. This year, Dragonforce tagged along, and I was a little skeptical considering how they're basically known for either being amazing or just falling down drunk. This time, they were definitely amazing. I was not prepared to walk into the venue, stand around for 10 minutes, and then immediately have the first song of the night be Fury of the Storm. Straight to 110% adrenaline. They also played a surprise cover that I never would have guessed, and ended up being amazing. I'll leave the surprise to whoever goes and sees them.

If I could pick only one thing to do for the rest of my life, it would be to see Kamelot live. They way they command the stage and interact with the crowd is amazing. One of the very few nights I actually got to be me. ^.^

Kamelot was epic and the most unforgettable concert I've ever been to. They truly respect their fans and appreciate all the fan-love!

Kamelot is an incredible group of dynamic musicians that leaves me, literally, craving for more. And, Tommy is pretty! LOL! In all seriousness, this concert was outstanding. My husband and I were probably the oldest people there, but, we are smitten fans of Kamelot. Not only is their composition unique and stimulating, but their delivery of the amazing masterpieces they create is unmatched. They are in a class of their own. Let me also praise the staff of The Masquerade, as well. I have significant mobility issues and they accommodated my disabilities with such grace and understanding. Thank you, Liz!! And, did I say....Tommy is pretty!! LOL!

Kamelot put on a wonderful show and involved their opening bands for a great cohesive, creative experience.

The show was amazing! The opening bands were a lot of fun and Kamelot did not disappoint. I had a wonderful time. The House of Blues is a nice intimate venue. I loved all of the bands and will definitely see them again when they return.

Incredible show great venue well worth the four hour drive to get there! Would love to see any of the artists again! Eklipse was very original... Delain was absolutely Amazing, Kamelot was very good as well

I have been trying for 2 years to see Kamelot when they would come to Atlanta, but Cancer treatments and surgery kept getting in the way. But the wait was well worth it. People, if you ever have the opportunity to see them, by all means, GO! You will not regret it. Delain and Eklipse also performed very well. All in all, it was a fantastic concert.
