It was supposed to be an 8 PM concert. After listening to many local bands, I guess Soulja Boy finally came on at around 10pm. Didn't recognize him or any of his songs. Sound was really bad.

i haven't been to one of these since hot jam 5... let me tell you... it was amazing. i really wanted to see DAY 26 and they did a great job. the whole show good too even though the sound equiment was going out in some performances but the artists keep their cool. can't wait for jingle jam..lol

My overall opinion of the concert is that it was a good show. I don't feel like I over paid for my tickets at all but I do think because of the number of acts they scheduled to perform, the performances were often sped up and lacked an audience connection. I can't blame it on the artists because several of the performers stated that they were being told they only had 5 minutes or 10 minutes left. I think they had enough quality artists on the schedule to carry the show without adding the few #1 hit wonders that they added. It is very true that quality is much more important than quantity in this case.

At least 10 more security guard should have been on duty. I purchased front row seat but could barely see because of the crowd rushing to the front during the preformance, especially when Sammy and Souja Boy performed. The crowd was out of control and someone could have gotten trampled in the mist of the excitement. Overall my daughter had a good time.

My children loved it! It was everything I hoped for my 7 yr old exclaimed. This was his first concert and he couldn't wait. Little did I know that my 16 yr old was more excited than him. What was i thinking! I was very pleased with the outcome of the concert, My children being happy makes me happy.

I purchased these tickets 4 my daughter and her friends. My daughter loves Arab and was very disappointed that he was not there. They were invited to go backstage after the concert was over, but were redirected very forcefully by the rented security guards at the Regal, because others were trying to do so without invitations. They enjoyed the concert.

I brought my daughter and her friend to the concert. They seemed to have a great time - enjoying much of the show. However, considering my age and expectations, the show was OK. The best part of the show for me was Bow Wows performance. He is, in my opinion, a true performer. For much of the show the sound system was crappy or it over powered the performers. It seemed for the most part that many of them simply danced to their music, on stage. Soulja Boy's performance was good as well. While I am a fan of Day 26, their performance was disappointing - again - due to the loud music and poor sound system.

Also Trey songz is so adorable and when Drake came Overall everyone did their thangthizzle and loved hot 93.7 they always get the crowd moving. I'm tired of goin to rap/hip hop shows at the Covelli Centre and the damn opening acts perform longer than the main event. Openeing acts started at like 730-745pm for the concert, and Soulja Boy performed from 1030 - 1115pm.... 45mins? really. I went to the Lil Wayne Concert before there and it was same thing. I'm glad i only paid $25 for tickets. you dont even get your moneys worth anymore. We are sposed to pay for the main act, not 2 hours of local rappers!

I thought Soulja boy was good and so did my daughter. After understanding the core audience the two guys that preseeded the main event were awful.. they only used four letter works as if that was the extent of their vocabulary. The crowd sat and watched and were not engaged at all. For the ages these two were NOT approprate at all in my humble opinion. The drill team was good as well. my daughter is 12 soon to be 13 and has followed Soulja boy for sometime now and waiting 2 1/2 hours to see a 45 min show does not even sound right. Have a great holiday season.

I'm a die hard Souja Boy fan and go the hardest for him in the state of VA... i experienced this show front row and it was amazing! was up dancing the whole night.. they even called me onstage to Swag Surf with FLY.. of Course Soulja Boy's performance lit up my night and there was absolutely no flaws in his presence, let alone his performance! i will MOST deff attend another Soulja Boy Concert and i will also recommend his shows to others! @MameSOD

My dauhgter is a honor student who is a die hard Soulja Boy fan!!! She has seen just about every video there is out there on him. But, she had never attended a concert a day in her life. I decided to show her how proud I was of her by taking her to the concert. This was a big step for me because I hadn't been to a concert in over 20 years! Ooooh, you could feel the anticipation she had growing inside her. We arrived and waited two and a half hours to see him. There were numerous up and coming acts before his actual appearance. My son, who is 7 years old, fell asleep waiting on him. Finally, when he arrived, he only stayed like a half hour. Which was very upsetting, because we traveled a long way to see him. Nonetheless, she still loves Soulja Boy very much!

I didn't care for the show but it wasn't for me. I took my 7yr old son who truly enjoyed the show. He didn't care so much for the F.Y.I boys but he was familiar with their song. He was there for Soulja Boy and he couldn't stop talking about him. I think it was a good show for the teenagers and young kids. The sound and seating we had was great!

FLY was great !. They called me on stage to swag surf ! I had so muchhh funnnn !!. Then Soulja Boy came out and I was in tears !. He performed a lot of his sonqs, threw water in tha crowd and hoped of tha stage !. The crowd went nuts ! I shook his hands and he had some fresh ass Jays on lookin cute !!.. The opening acts, wherever they came from, performed longer than the starring act. What's up with that???? Is Richmond only worth 30 minutes of his time? Tickets were purchased to see Soulja Boy and what a disappointment to have him give up 30 minutes of his time while I had to give up $45 per ticket. Lesson learned.

The show was nice OVERALL!!! Soulja boy (who came on stage about 10pm) was amazing... i love him he's so full of energy, however!!! and friends.... I could have done without them... they preformed from 7pm-10pm three hours of boredom... i must admit some were cute and the R&B singed NiIGel has and amazing voice but everyone else should have been on a whos got talent reality show.... FLY is basically a one hit wonder... everyone sat down on the 5 songs they sang except for swag surfing which they chose to preform twice.... Bottom line.... Just come at 10pm to avoid all the other mess!

I thought it was good but it was too hot to be out there for 8 hours. Rick ross was horrible in my opinion as he kept stopping songs and he didn't have any memorable new songs that kept my interest. Plies was good although i think he should have just dealt with the sound and performed more songs. He attackted the sound man too much for nothing to change. I don't know what he was looking for but it didnt sound bad to me. Tech n9ne was great really woke a dying crowd back up. Closing with hurricane chris(although his single is good) and soulja boy was not a good look. It just sent all the older adults home. I realize soulja boy is grown but all his fans are young girls. Its only a few songs that stood out to me and that's "my dougie" and "gucci bandana". Overall it was good but not memorable because of poor set up and long length.

All of the performers at the event were terrible and didn't even actually sing/rap they just sang along to a recording of their song, with the exception of Tech N9ne. Tech, along with Kris Kalico and Cutt Calhoun put on an awesome show. I would tell anyone to go to a tech n9ne concert but I would not recommend Soulja Boy or Rick Ross

We had lots of fun. It was my five year old's first concert so she felt like such a big girl to be out late. The venue was awesome and although there were a few sound issues the show was great. I can't say there is a moment we didn't enjoy about the concert.

The crowd was amazing. I went for Tech n9ne, but man did the other artists blow my mind also. Everything was up to tempo, they celebrated a birthday, and best of all the food and drinks weren't as bad as I would have thought. I would recommend this to my friends. I will most definitely be going next year.

This was my first time attending 103.3s big summer jam. I was pleased with the concert. I thought everyone there performed great. The opening acts were enterating. Rick ross played a great long show that included lots of music he really made sure you got the entertainment you paid for. Tech n9ne put on a great show and im not typically a fan of his music. The last act soulja boy was the best part his show was incrediable. The DJ's hosting this event did a gret job keeping the audiences attentention between acts. The venue capiol federal park was set up great for this event. The front general admission area gave the opportunity for fans to get really close to the performers. I would recommend this venue for anyone for any concert. I would also go see these performers again. They put on a great show.

This was one concert that was not worth the price. Both headliners played for no more than half an hour and I was home by 11. I've never been to a concert that was as short and as useless as this one. I was extremely disappointed and will never waste money on either group again. The local rap groups played longer and better than either Soulja Boy or Gucci Mane. While Soulja Boy did play his hits, he didn't exactly sell himself with the short set. I felt the groups disrespected their fans and forgot who got them where they are today with these two very brief sets. Never again!

Actually I bought tickets for 4 12 yrs and a 23 yr to be the chaperone. The 12 yr old girls had a blast. The only complaint they had was the grown people were smoking substances around them, flinging beer in excitement and 2 fights broke out. Other than that, the girl enjoyed the performances and danced their little hearts out. Concert openers started at 430pm and the finale was at 1030pm.......a little too long also.

Tech N9ne was awesome, without him the show would have been a joke. Soulja boy was terrible, people actually left the concert before the the main headliner went. Thats kind of sad. Next year they need to get more big names, who have awesome stage shows.

I got these tickets for my daughter birthday present and for three of her friends we had floor seats but not right at the stage my daughter somehow found her way through the crowd and made it to the front stage she stayed there the whole concert soulja boy put on a good show. also gorilla zoe cost of tickets for floor seats $180,dinner for four $100,outfits $80, the smile on her face at the end of the concert PRICELESS!!

I was pleasantly surprised with Bow Wow- he had the most energy- the best performance. I don't think Soulja Boy should have done the shoot em up song with young kids in the audience. He has enough songs out that he could have chosen another song. I felt that song was inappropriate. They messed up on Fabolous' music or else he would have had a good show too. A lot of entertainers under one roof. Good value.

I thought that it was great. I just thought that one of the people who came out took way to long to just do their set and it went a half hour to long. overall I would recommend all who are hip-hop/R&B fans to make time to go to this show when it comes around next year and to make tie to go jingle jam if it happens this year. you won't be dissapointed

Very disappointing that the headliner was cut off during his performance. One artist never made the stage & all the audio problems put a huge damper on the show. All I have to say is Day 26 did the damn thing!!! I was very happy to see them, I went for the whole show but Day 26 did better then anyone there
