I took my brother as I have decided to treat him to concerts with the precious time we have left. Zeppelin2 was our second show. We were lucky enough to have third row seats. I thought the band did a great job individually and collectively as a band. Everyone did there job well. We sat guitar side and witnessed a reincarnate of Jimmy Page. Seeing it has been the better part of forty years since I seen Led Zeppelin, I say Thank You for a job very well done guys. You brought it all back home. And Thanks so much for the meet and greet pictures after the show. We will be out there supporting you again. Peace

Great guitarist (& hot), bass & drummer. Why would they tour with a singer who can't hit the high notes. He was flat or just dropped to a lower note on many of the songs. Spoiled the show.

I have seen Led Zeppelin and this band sounded, even looked like the original. The vocals and instruments, especially the drummer, were authentic. My friend who has never seen Zeppelin, kept saying, it sounds like my Led Zeppelin cd playing. If you never got to see the real band, this is the next best thing.

First off, musically, LZ2 was great...big cred for that. But given that they were scheduled to go on at 9 on thursday...a work night for most of us old time Zep fans...that's late enough...the fact that they didn't actually go on until after 10 is unforgivable. Get over yourselves dudes...you're a tribute band, get to work on time. Visually, they were hit and miss...faux Plant was an admirable stand in, but looked somewhat bored much of the time. Faux Page had a bad wig and an "ahh, the meds have kicked in look frozen on his face. Faux Bonham's wig was worse and Faux Jones was admirable. Would I go again...maybe if I had the next day off.

I only have two complaints..... 1.) They got on stage an hour late. 2.) They didn't open with We're Gonna Grove. This show as excellent and the setlist was sweet. They managed to cover the entire Zeppelin catelog while staying away from more of the mainstream songs. The band demonstrated their ability to replicate the Zeppelin sound and the show was very good. When this band comes around again, it's absolutely worth checking them out. Zeppelin Rules!

The Paradise was an awesome venue. Lots of fans excitedly awaiting the show - which should have started at 9. At 10 the band decided to show up - no apologies, no excuses. The drummer was awesome - rockin out hard. The lead was clearly high - or on something. He tripped over himself a few times, playing chords from the previous night's show at least a couple times. Sounded great when he was together with the band. The singer was good, but definitely no Robert Plant. Didn't hit some of the high notes I'd been waiting for. Bass/Keyboardist was great, In all I'd recommend the show because I love Led Zeppelin and the show itself was a lot of fun, like a great flashback!

These guys were great. Every member of the band had mastery over their instrument(s) and did justice to every Zeppelin song they played. They played for over 2 hours and played Led Zeppelin I in full as part of their set. Their version of Nobody's Fault But Mine was smokin! The only slight down-side to the show was the singer's harmonica playing/sound setup for the harmonica, but he more than made up for it with his vocals. Unbelievable vocals. I highly recommend seeing this show.

I was so happy to hear that Led Zeppelin 2 was coming back to Minnesota so soon. This band never disappointments us! I LOVE this band and will see them every time they come to our area! My nephew and his girlfriend were visiting from New York attended this show with my husband and I, they feel that this band ROCKED IT! I was just to Mystic Lake venue for another concert, while they have a beautiful venue I feel that Mystic Lake did not do their best to promote this band, the venue was only half full and was not the right crowd to see this AWESOME band. I felt bad for the band members, they work so hard and the crowd let them down!! This was my 4th time seeing this band and to be honest THEY DESERVE more that what they received from that crowd. Overall my rating is Band = 10, venue = 10, crowd = 0. My fellow Minnesotans you let this band down, I just hope to see Led Zeppelin 2 back in Minnesota again, SEE YOU SOON!

Their drummer and lead guitar stole the show, both very talented and highly entertaining. There was so much bass amped into everything it was hard to tell if the bass guitar was any good. The lead singer had all the Robert Plant moves and mannerisms but the reverb on his mike made it hard to understand the words (like we didn't already know all the words - - -) but it was probably just as well since no one could match Plant. Still, a great show and left me wanting more. had to play a bunch of Led Z when I got home.

Loud, grating, tinny sound. Most words were inaudible as were many of the more complex guitar riffs. Either the venue has terrible acoustics, the sound people understand only one knob (volume), or they were trying to cover up guitar and vocals, or all of the above. Appears geared to fans with hearing loss from going to other excruciatingly loud concerts.

The lead singer was absolutely horrid. While I understand he's not going to sound like RP, he didn't even come close! Not only that, but then he was arrogant enough to sing the songs the way HE wanted to instead of staying true to the original sound, which is the whole point of the show! We couldn't stand listening to it any longer and ended up leaving after only 4 songs. Stay away and save your money! These clowns (specifically the lead singer - the others were ok) absolutely butchered my favorite band. I was so excited to go - what a disappointment!

The venue was great, the seats were great and the company was great. The band was disappointing. I had checked reviews of the group and they had good reviews. I don't know if the just didn't know how to adjust to a show room or what. The vocalist was covered by the drums for most of the show. The bass player looked like he wished he was any place but there. The bass player also played keyboard and he was fantastic there. The gatarist had obvious talent and did a fantastic solo. But the 4 of them did not mesh as a band. I grew up on Zeppelin. This group dragged every song down. I wanted to conduct them to a faster beat. We never know if there are things going on behind the scenes. Did a best friend die, were the suffering from the flu? Did everyone have plugged ears? I don't know but do know I enjoyed the free band in the casino more than this tribute band. Went for my son's 33rd birthday. I wish I had given him the money rather than buying the tickets.

2 plus hours of well done zeppelin tunes. The lead guitarist and drummer were hands down the stars of the night. Vocals at times were a little weak which I felt was sometimes may have been a sound issue. The drummer was so fast on his solo he looked like he was under a strobe light. The lead guitarist left nothing to be desired. He had a wide ranging skillset that just wailed. Obviously the real thing isn't available but if you have that itch to scratch Led Zeppelin 2 is a worthwhile night out.

The band was tight and the music strong. All members look the part and have the mannerisms of the original band down pat. Unfortunately to sing like Plant is almost impossible and this band proves that. Zep2's Plant looks the part but he struggles hitting the notes and at times his voice is all over the place. If you go into this saying your going to hear a cover band that the singer is just ok you will enjoy it but if your expecting the singer to sound like Plant, you will be very disappointed because There is NO REPLACEMENT FOR ROBERT PLANT.

This is probably the best Zep tribute band. Saw them 2 years ago and will see them everytime they come to Houston. Lead singer is close to Plant, but who can really sound the same? The lead guitar is fantastic, bass and keyboards super, drummer is unreal. Loved their song selection, they played for 2 hours straight. This is very difficult music but they nailed it. Pretty solid covers of Zeppelin songs we all know and love even mixed in one or two more obscure songs in the mix. The lead guitar (aka Jimmy Page) was very good. Interesting blend of young and old in the crowd. I really enjoy the HoB, they just need to add couple more drafts to their beer lineup.

Whilst their drummer was quite amazing, the lead vocalist was not very good. He tried his best to copy Robert Plant, but obviously that's not easily achieved. What could saved the show from the lackluster performance of the lead vocalist was if they chose to play more popular songs. However, during most of the second hour they instead decided on lesser known songs and left out hits like: The Wanton song, the ocean song, Ramble on, When the levee breaks, going to California, No quarter, etc... They only played Kashmir during an encore and closed with Whole lotta love which somewhat saved the show.

Led Zeppelin 2 is a must see! This is the 3rd time that we've seen them in Minneapolis and they don't disappoint! The whole band is fantastic and have really got the Led Zeppelin sound and vibe down to science! This was our first time at the Cabooze and I must say I was a little disappointed the show was going to be there but I gotta say I was not disappointed! I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the show and was really surprised that the sound didn't blow us away. I would definitely attend another show there! The only thing that would make it better is if I could see the band several times a year! Once a year is NOT ENOUGH!! Led Zeppelin don't wait a whole year to come back!

1975 revisited. These guys must have studied the live "Song Remains the Same" video very closely. From dress to song list, just outstanding. As in 'Can't Fly' !! I've been to hundreds of concerts in my life, incl. seeing Led Zepplin twice back in the day. This is one of the WORST concerts I ever saw, not just a Zep Tribute band, but any band or performer. We left after they went into an Animals song.. ?? The Rbt. Plant guy was awful, not even trying to mimic RP. The Page guy was OK (just OK ... C- performance). The only guy who could play was the drummer and even he had Bonzo spinnin' in his grave.. !! The difference between these guys and a Garage Band?... The garage !! Can't believe they had the gall to charge $25 per head ! There are several good Zep Tribute Bands out there... 'Zed Lepplin' is one of the best I've personally seen. Honestly wish I could rate Led Zeppelin 2 higher, but I can't... 90 minutes I'll never get back...

I organized a 50th Birthday Party for my best friend, we are both musicians and huge Zep fans. I play guitar, drums, and sing, and he plays keyboard...so we know talent, and we know Led Zeppelin...backward and forward. I watched a few videos of the band on Youtube before purchasing tickets, and decided they were worth a try. what a fantastic decision! These guys have spent A LOT OF TIME perfecting their act! The clothes, the instruments, their mannerisms, they hit every mark. The main aspect of accuracy comes from the vocals, you can't cover Zep tunes without some MAJOR LEAGUE vocals, YOU HAVE TO HAVE Robert's pitch and range. Plant could get up there in his prime, and the front man had no problem hitting ALL the high notes ALL NIGHT LONG!!! He held the mic cord in his fist with his thumb tucked in his belt all night as well. SPOT ON! The huge bass on the Ludwig kit, the headband on the drummer, the mandolin, the violin bow solo on Dazed and Confused, the Theremin work on Whole Lotta Love, the gong, the kimono, the red double neck SG....all contributed to the accuracy of their act. They lost time on a few songs, and the guitarist wandered off on a few solos, but overall it was an EXCELLENT SHOW!!! Even the ticket price was accurate, only $15!!! HA HA HA! If you never got to see Led Zeppelin live in their prime, this is as close as you will EVER GET!! Go see them and you will agree!!

This was the 4th year in a row we've gone to see/hear the experience of their performance. After 1 time we were hooked. I've watched Led Zeppelin live on video and can say beyond a shadow of doubt these guys are AS CLOSE as you'll ever get to actually knowing what a Led Zeppelin concert was like 'back in the day'. They embody Plant, Page, Bonham, & Jones to the degree you think you've gone back in time to the 70's. Costumes, choreography, attention to detail and body movements plus the SOUNDS. Their Page does double-neck, plays theramin, uses violin bow, etc. like Page did, their Bonham tears up the drums like Bonham did. Their Plant plays harmonica, tambourine, hops backwards, etc. like Plant did. Their Jones plays keyboards, bass, & mandolin like Jones did. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!!!!

Wasn't sure what to expect. But I heard Led Zeppelin 2 put on a good show so I decided to give them a try. Went with my 17 year old daughter. The show was pretty amazing. They sounded spot on for Led Zeppelin. From afar they looked the part too. Retro garb and hair. Only when you see them closer-up do you notice its not Zep. They had no opening act and played for almost 2 hours with a very short break in between. Zep 2 played mostly all the famous songs you would expect of them. They also played a few of the "deep cuts" as they called them. Very interesting mix of people. A bunch of teens and twenty somethings down in the pit moshing, and an equal number of gray hairs gyrating on the encircling floor. Catch em if you can!

Being a lover of 70's rock, I was anxious and cautiously optimistic to see a group pay tribute to one of the great rock bands of all time. I wasn't disappointed. In fact, I was greatly impressed. The members of Led Zeppelin II seemed to really take their work seriously, representing Led Zeppelin in a manner that should make all of the original members proud. The music was excellent and their mannerisms of the original band seemed spot on. LZII's show made me appreciate the original band even more than I already did. Listening to This show made me realize that LZ's recorded music doesn't do it justice. It has to be seen live to fully understand how powerful it truly was - the strong and incessant rythyms of John Bonham and John Paul Jones, to the wizardry of Jimmy Page, to the incredible vocals of Robert Plant. I will definitely see LZII again. They are almost as good as the real thing.

Almost gave 4 stars because of a 'minor' quibble...they started an hour late (10PM) on a work night...many in the crowd were getting ticked off. I saw them last year and had a great time and in the end, this was another really fun experience. They start out a bit slow but pick up momentum and authenticity as time goes on. Yes, sometimes veering dangerously close to Spinal Tap...but, the enthusiasm of the band and the crowd always keeps you in the fantasy. Kashmir and When the Levee Breaks are spine chillers. Loosen up, let the 'fantasy' that it's really Led Zep up there, only a few feet away...and you'll have a blast.

The sound seemed way off. The bass was the most prominent sound. I would not go see this band again.

My wife and I left on the third song. I get it, they are a cover, however, If I spend my hard earned monies to go see a cover band they had better cover, and not sound like a highschool garage band. This band was terrible, and would have been ok for a free bar type happy hour gig. I will be very reserved on the next purchase I make for the House of Blues; if ever.

After seeing the real Led Zeppelin back in 1975 and being completely blown away (still at the top of my concert list), seeing Led Zeppelin 2's tribute concert here in 2018 brought back some very great memories !!! Each band member were excellent, the volumn was loud, and they did Zeppelin live, like they should be experienced !!

Venue is good, I recommend seats over standing. Bartenders will allow underage to have sodas with refills. Shows in the house of blues large theater are all ages. This band is incredible. If you like Zeppelin, you will love this show.

It is what it is. They are a cover band, they cut song short played songs out of tune but they did good . What I hated was all the ppl sitting in there seats like we where at some kids play, come on ppl your at a show get on your feet or just stay home and put there CD on. The way the crowd reacts has a lot on how the band will play

Led Zeppelin 2 was fun to watch. The clothes, hair, and mannerisms of "Plant", "Page", and "Bonham" were close matches for the originals (less so for "JP Jones"). However, the vocals were quite disappointing - certainly no match for the real Plant (admittedly a very high bar, but they fell very short). Also, the sound balance was poor - the base overwhelmed the guitar and vocals (but not the drums, which were very audible, of course!). Glad I went, but my overall rating is 3 stars (average).

Normally the Genesee is a nice place to go. But the speaker on the right was so heavy on the bass that it ruined the sound. They also had this fog machine on the floor of the stage facing the audience that kept blasting the fog right at peoples faces, I suggest raising it a foot or so higher. Now for the band, I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan and this band had some pretty cool video trailers. They had the look, the songs, but the singer??? Awful !!! Halfway through the show you can see many empty seats because people left early. My husband wanted us to leave, but I was determined to stick it out (mainly because of the cost of the tickets and this was our date night). I have seen other Led Zeppelin cover bands that rock, These guys are a garage band want to be that would be okay for a bar, but NOT for the Genesee Theatre.

Terrible sound - couldn't hear the lead guitar on Stairway - need a NEW sound board operator / totally clueless. Amazing miss! Iconic tune wrecked by sound person. Plus, the selections were generally obscure and hard-er end of the rick spectrum. We walked out. Very nice venue.

I've seen Led Zepplin live 2 or 3 times in Chicago. Robert Plant twice at Jazz Fest. This may have been the best $100 I've spent in my life. All of the guys are spot on -over the top- Led Zepplin. This was the best part of our Mardi Gras trip. Worth driving a few hundred miles and spending the night to catch this act. What a tribute to the best rock and roll band ever.

Led Zeppelin II is fun. From the lead guitar to the bass, keyboards and drums to the lead singer - awesome, fun and entertaining. They totally get into character and sound awesome. And Heaven at Masquerade is a phenomenal venue to see them. Large enough that you don't feel cramped and small enough that it's easy to get within 3-4 deep from the stage. We had a blast from opening song all the way through. Highly recommend.

The music was very good and at times you could close your eyes and travel back in time. The guitar rips by "Jimmy Page" were very good but lacked a little polish. The drummer was fantastic. "Robert Plant" was very good at times but, come on now, who could actually mimic this rock n roll icon. Had some trouble with the pedal switches on the guitar. Bass/Key board player was very good, especially when he played some bass lines with his feet. All and all, a very enjoyable night.

First time I've seen it, will never miss another show. It is the next best thing to the real thing. Jimmy jams on guitar! Bonham pounds out Moby Dick with his bare hands. If you love Zeppelin you must see this show!

The instrumental part of the band was good but the lead singer wasn't very good. They just weren't that entertaining. Plus it didn't help when we purchased 2 drinks and they were $18 each. Ridiculous.

I thoroughly enjoy the trip back to when rock n roll was solid! Everything was great; maybe Robert Plant's voice was tired or he had a cold - high notes were rough. Other than that - I will always go and see ZepII.

The musicians in the band were pretty good, but their lead singer was terrible! He missed notes and was off-key most of the time. I'm hoping their regular guy had gotten sick and they asked a friend to take his place because it would be a shame if this guy was their actual singer. We left after only 4 or 5 songs.

Saw these guys last year in Corpus Christy and they sounded much better that time. Unfortunately Bruce Lamont was having an off night coupled with obvious sound equipment issues especially early on. Bruce had little control over the higher end of the range needed to sound anything like Robert Plant Friday night, although granted anybody willing to try to sound like Robert Plant is taking on a difficult job that is going to make few people entirely happy.

The guitar and drums were spot and and made the show. the bass was alright. and the singer has a hard row to hoe trying to imitate Plant. Sometimes it sounded like him, but more often it did not. He did have the mannerisms down very well though. overall i enjoyed it quite a bit

They played all the hits and the show was nice and long. One problem, Robert Plant (real name Bruce) can't sing the high notes, is ill, or just getting over being sick. Unfortunately, his voice would break and crack every time and ruin the song. And on a couple of songs he sang/talked. On the flip side-when he sang in his regular voice it was pretty good, my suggestion, sing that way. If you can't do Plant - DON"T DO IT. The musicians were really good, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham are very talented. Most of the evening I watched the drummer (real name Ian) and he is friggen excellent. Overall is was an OK show, for fake Plant - what a trooper and good job powering through the show being sick and all. My boyfriend says he can't sing. Personally I'm hoping he was sick.

The show was incredible...what can be said about seeing Led Zeppelin performed pretty much as it was intended to be. I can't really say anything negative about the show or venue, but getting to the venue was, to be nice, ridiculous and impossible. I'm highly unlikely to visit that venue again until they sort out the massive transportation, traffic, parking, and logistics issues of getting there. That aside, the group was phenomenal and did not disappoint, especially for someone who was not old enough to ever see Zep live.
