Cast was spot on, the whole ensemble was delightful. It was more enjoyable because you could tell the where enjoying themselves. To bad it had only the two performances. As a visitor to the area it was a great diversion on a hot night. Great fun and Surprisingly good.

This may be unusual but, I did not see the play. I sent my God-daughter with her friend and her Dad to see it. So it was my recommendation. They left during intermission. They said it was underwhelming; that the acting was somewhat pushed and the production had the feeling of a robust community theatre show. Now, they have seen some Broadway, and her Dad is an actor, and my God-daughter is active in singing and her school plays, so perhaps they set the bar a little high. But for $75 dollars a ticket - I think it should be something more than mediocre. And for them to leave at intermission, after paying $225 for the tickets, I think that speaks for itself. They did say there were many elderly people around them who laughed in the right places and seemed to enjoy themselves, and perhaps the fact that they were out of the house. But unfortunately it seems, for the price, that this production cannot be recommended to sophisticated audiences.

I have been attending the Reprise series for 9 years and this is the best production I have ever seen there. Not only was it very funny, some of the gymnists were totally amazing.

Whast a marvelous evening of music and laughter. The cast was extraordinary, the jokes were impeccable -- a great tribute to the late Larry Gelbart and the 80 year-old Stephen Sondheim. Bravo once again, Reprise!

Despit e limitations on scenery the players more than made up for it. This play was exceptionally well done. The players were outstanding from top to bottom. I have not laughed so hard and so often in years.

The cast was amazing and Lee Wilkof alone well worth the price of admission. It is one laugh after another and the singing is fantastic. I highle recommend seeing it before it closes---even if you have to drive up north in horrendous traffic like we did!

The play was a joy to watch from the first to the last. Everyone in the cast was superb, as was the staging. For those who remember the movie with Michael Crawford and Zero Mostel of 40 plus years ago, this production shows how much better it is to see this musical on the stage than on the screen.

A very funny production of a very silly show. More an homage to old time bulesque than old time Rome, a great cast and a very good Sondheim score made for an utterly fun evening. I had a smile across my face from stRt to finish.

This is one of my favorite musicals, with Sondheim's brilliant music and lyrics, and this production held up well to those I've seen (including the Broadway revival with Nathan Lane). Solid, talented cast; great comic timing; strong orchestra; fine sets and costumes. Some new 'schtick' with three males of wildly varying heights who alternately play eunuchs, slaves and soldiers -- hysterical. If you like vaudeville and musicals, this is the show for you.

The sets were offensively graphic. I think a brothel could be designed without the graphic use of pornography...my teenagers and my grandmother were very embarrassed. What an unfortunate distraction from the talent of this group! The character development lacked substance - funny was reduced to silly and goofy...not what you would expect from a high caliber university.

The music and acting was very well done. Most of the main characters were really in character the whole time and did a marvelous job playing the roles The only lazy positions were the concubine(or whatever they called it) in orange who always looked like she didnt want to me there when it wasn't her turn to act. '' Judging by the female to male ratio in the place this is a great place for any college guy to go to mingle ;)
