We have been to a lot of Concerts since the mid 70's but have not had the opportunity to see Van Halen live and now it's almost like we have. This Band ROCKS!!! They have assembled the right people for a "Magnificent Tribute" to one of Rock's True Legends. They should be very proud of their accomplishments since it takes real talent to reproduce the music of a World Class act the way they do! Will we go to see them again??? ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT! The whole show was GREAT, what else can be said. Be sure to see them if you have the chance, they're worth every penny!!!!

The concert was amazing, the easy print out of tickets through Ticketmaster was a breeze. The O.C. Fair the Hanger was easy sitting, with enough women's bathrooms to accom. all. The overall experience was great.

I felt like I traveled back in time and was in the 80's again. There he was, Diamond Dave in the flesh. Or so he looked like he was. The music was spot on and so was the band.

Go see these guys if you have the chance. If like me, you never got to see Van Halen back in the 80's, the Atomic Punks are the next best thing. They never claim to BE Van Halen but celebrate them in the truest form of flattery, imitation. And they do that very well. The singer actually bares a very strong resemblance to David Lee Roth, even the mannerisms and showmanship. All in all - a must see for any Van Halen fan!!

I didn't know much about "The Atomic Punks" so I watched a video on youtube and thought they sounded great. I then heard that they were playing at The House of Blues in Anaheim and just for a kick thought I'd by four tickets and take a couple of friends, I mean what the heck, the tickets were cheap. I can't believe how fricken hot these guys are!!!!! They started of as their own opening act covering old "Rush" stuff and blew me the hell away. They then can on as newer Van Halen with "Sammy set and full on killed it!!! Then for the last set They came on again covering early VH with a David Lee Roth singer performer that left me feeling bad for the real David Lee Roth. I saw the real Van Halen Dec. 2007 at the Honda Center Anaheim with Vip second row center floor tickets $1000.00, and I'd have to say for $20.00 thet as good or dare I say "Better"????

first, the singer needs to get rid of that silly mullet wig (joe dirt) it was pretty bad. I thought the show was good, I would recommend it to a friend. musicianship was really good. I wish they would've played 'outta love again, light up the sky, on fire or atomic punk. that would have been nice. The drums sounded great, the guitar sounded great through the Marshall half stack (of course). all in all it was a good show!

Both of these bands where spot on. Sound at the House of Blues was perfect. If someone is reading this because you are considering the band or the venue, stop thinking and buy the ticket.

We absolutely LOVED the Atomic Punks. The Rush band sounded, well....like Rush. They did good, but I'm not a huge Rush fan so I had to get some fresh air for the last half. 5150 was better, and fun to watch. The highlight was definitely Atomic Punks. "Roth" was so much fun to watch and sounded great. The band also totally rocked. Loved the whole band, but the lead guitarist was awesome considering he played with all three bands. Great Show!!!!

All the bands were incredible at the House Of Blues Anaheim. Great intimate venue surrounded by the magic of Disney Downtown. Moving Pictures( Rush cover band) moved me to drum along with every song with the lead singer belting out a perfect rendition of Tom Sawyer. The 5150 band (Hagar era Van Halen) came on next. They won me over instantly with their Hager look a like and sound alike. Never before has any cover singer wowed me to the level of this rocker. He hit the Hagar highs and stayed consistent with moving renditions of Right Here Right Now and Best Of Both Worlds along with all the other hits opening with Pouncake. The last and certainly far from least was the headliner Atomic Punks( Roth era Van Halen). High energy was the mantra as this cover band fired on all cylinders. Sing alongs got everyone stretching their vocal limits to keep up with the spot on rendition of David Lee Roth. From Running with the Devil to Panama, The Atomic Punks made you feel like you were witnessing Van Halen starting out again in the 70's. The crowd was time warped back to the beginning when Van Halen first spreading it's wings in Pasadena,CA. Authentic, genuine, and explosive describe the night of duplications. I would give it a third thumbs up if I had a third thumb. A must see experience for all fans of rock.

Saw the Atomic Punks Saturday night at the HOB in Anaheim.3 Words A MUST SEE! The show is a great reproduction of the original Van Halen Line up, right down to the onstage banter from an Uncanny performance by Ricky McCoy as David Lee Roth. He sounds so much like Roth from 1978-1984 Era it's like time traveling. He even made a couple of funny ad libs to some idiots in the front who were flipping him off the whole show.As great as Ricky was, the true highlight for me was the absolutely brilliant guitar work by Lance Turner as Edward Van Halen. Go see the Punks soon because he won't be with them for long, in my opinion. Lance nailed every riff, every solo every song with enthusiasm, energy and power in a guitar tour de force. He must eat drink and sleep with his Guitar 24/7 to get that good. Incredible. Not only does Lance play in the punks set, he plays in the 5150 band set, which represents Sammy Hagar Era Van Halen. He was the only highlight in that set unfortunately. The singer was good , but didnt sound very much like Sammy. the Opening Band was Moving Pictures, A Rush Tribute. Again,Lance was amazing. He was an encyclopedia of Rush Riffs, and the Geddy Lee impersonator on Vocals and bass was excellent. He sounded very much like Geddy, and played bass brilliantly. Punks Drummer Scott Patterson tried real hard to play like Neil Peart, but Pearts legendary rhythms and classic fills were slightly above Scotts skill level, so he was ok overall. I am a drummer though, so i have a slightly picky ear for drumming. The small crowd seemed to love his playing nonetheless. A good show overall, great punks set. Could do without the 5150 set. Next time guys just do the Rush stuff and the Roth sruff and leave the sammy impersonator at Home.

These guys are as close as you can get to the original Van Halen - in fact the lead singer is probably better than David Lee (I forgot the words!) Roth. I saw the original VH line up many times back in the day so I know what I'm talking about. Go see 'em!!

Took my husband and another couple to the show 7/17/14 - Thursday night at OC Fair. I've seen Van Halen two times before. Once with the incredible David Lee Roth and the second with Sammy. The Atomic Punks definitely does the DLR years justice. They were very energetic and have the band's moves down pat. Front man is a dead-ringer for DLR in vocals, looks and gestures. He also has a mean high kick. Stood up the entire time, sang along and rocked out at a fun concert. I will go see them again when they come back to the OC.

Amazing band with incredible talent. It felt like 1984 at my first Van Halen concert. Scoot's drum solo was as good as any and better than most. This was as good os the real thing. The energy was thru the roof all night as we rocked out. The lead guitar looked and sounded like a young Eddie. The singer and base also blew me away. If you have a chance to see this band, go. Even if you are not a Van Halen fan you will still love that classic 80's rock music excitement.

This is my third time seeing Atomic Punks (Moving Pictures, Motley Inc and AP). I've seen so many other tribute bands, but Atomic Punks are so perfect, that seeing the real bands for me is not even necessary. In fact, I saw Motley Crue last year in Vegas and they don't even compare to the sound of Motley Inc. Take away all the smoke and fireworks and Motley Inc is WAY better than the real Crue. AP is a must see show!

Went to this show primarily because of the reputation of the headliner, The Atomic Punks. I'm hit-and-miss on tribute bands; I've seen quite a few and only a small minority (The Australian Pink Floyd Show in particular) have impressed me. The Punks brought with them two other tribute acts to the extremely intimate confines of the Anaheim House of Blues--Moving Pictures, a Rush tribute, and Motley, Inc.--a Motley Crue tribute. The musicianship of all three bands was top notch; only after the Punks took the stage did I realize that two members were also moonlighting in Motley and Moving Pictures (the bassist and guitarist, specifically). Moving Pictures did a 50-min. set of older Rush tunes (never venturing beyond the 1981 release of their namesake), and as said before, were very impressive musically. The lead singer (who also played bass and keyboards, often while singing), was vocally touch-and-go with his Geddy Lee impression, but there's no questioning the man's ability to interlock with the drummer, who despite not having a drumkit as tricked-out as his authentic counterpart Neil Peart (few do), did a great job of matching the complex rhythmic narratives of the real thing. The guitarist (sorry, don't know his name) never deviated from a standard Les Paul for the duration of the set, nevertheless did an amazing job of sounding just like the real Alex Lifeson, even matching the latter's movements onstage. Motley, Inc. were a surprise, since Vince Neil-soundalikes are a dime a dozen (or so it seems), but this guy was so dead-on it was frankly eerie. Having seen the real thing last summer, I was amazed at how EXACT his singing was. Physically, he was taller, but so what. The band performed a great set, with each member obviously understanding that it wasn't enough to LOOK like the real thing, you had to nail the music as well as body language. They were great fun. Atomic Punks have been around for a while and have seen members come and go (one former lead singer now performs with Steel Panther), They have a very intense following; various professional musicians have endorsed them over the years (including members of the real Van Halen), and my friend once saw them perform with Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters sitting in on drums. They were excellent, with the singer doing such a perfect David Lee Roth (as he was in the early-'80s) that you feel like you literally stepped back in time. It's easy to see why they're considered kings of the Van Halen tribute, and one of the top tier tribute acts performing today. Since the originals of all three bands tend to gouge on ticket prices when they do tour, you could do far worse than investing in any of these three.

Atomic punks were pretty good. The guitar Player and drummer was very good. Back round vocals good. Lead singer was a little boring. But overal they are a good coverband. The galaxy theatre is a dive. They need a better venue. A really good coverband would be damage inc. They are really really good. Check them out.

What a shame that whoever produces the Atomic Punks apparently doesn't understand the gist of the whole production. The current front man possesses none of the tongue in cheek balls that have always been a part of V/H and The Punks as previously constituted. The guy is about as rock n roll as Neil freaken Diamond, and is no Diamond Dave. The Punks are Dead. Give it up guys - you're a far cry from what's needed to pull it off.

Ive been wanting to see the atomic punks for a long time & never had until now. They were really good but not quite as good as I expected. Diamond Dave voice wasnt quite there and I have heard better Eruption leads before. So so but not great. On the otherhand, motley Inc. was a lot better than I expected! Vince Neil frontman NAILED his vocals. Very impressed! For the most part, the band even looked a lot like them too. So overall, would recommend both bands.

This was my first time seeing the Atomic Punks. I always see their show ads and finally got to go. The entire band packs a "mean street" punch. One full hour of hard driving, 80's style Van Halen rock. Guitar, bass, drums and of course vocals!! I'm one of the unfortunate ones who never got to see the real deal live. I'm so glad these guys bring it BIG! Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!!! I can't wait to see you again.

Was my first time to see Motley Inc. They were awesome. Timmy the lead singer sounded just like Vince and gave a great show. Music was just like the real thing. (and I would know since I just saw the Crue at Hollywood Bowl.) Was a fan of Atomic Punks for years, but this was forst time to see the new lead singer replacing Ralph. He does not have as much charm and wit as Ralph, but the crowd really enjoyed the show. I prefered Motley Inc. Was so pleased that my tickets ended up being in 3rd row center stage. What a great deal!

Motley, Inc was very good spot on, vocals were just as Good as Vince Neil, band was tight Atomic punks, very average I have seen them before and I have seen other Van Halen Wannabes who were just as good. I am not saying I would not see them again, but it would a stretch, I think If other groups were available I would see them, but if I had the choice, I would maybe see led zeppagain or Aeromyth

Motley Inc started the night with an amazing set, playing all the Crüe we love. They didn't miss a note and the showmanship was above anything that anyone could hope for. Then the atomic punks came out and blistered a set that anyone who was walking by the back of the hanger had to stop and listen. I've seen these guys several times and this was the best yet. They just get better and better. Didn't think it was possible to be better than they already were.

These guys played a great show & covered the early VH quite well! Lead singer sounds like Roth & even changes costumes a couple times. Also, got down off stage & interacted with the fans during the show, which was cool. Lead guitar played cleanly, almost note for note, might be as close to Eddy as any I've heard. Drums & bass were also spot on & incredible to listen to. I would be curious to hear the drummer on his own kit, as these guys shared drums with 2 other good bands, I'm sure adjustments had to be made, but played awesome. Motley Inc & Psyco Circus (KISS tribute) also played great sets covering their respective bands. It was a shame the venue wasn't very crowded, for whatever reason. None of the bands let that fact take the wind out of their sails, they played hard & gave the crowd their best. I can only think the show wasn't crowded because these guys are from soooooo far away & not well known in this area. Don't let it stop you, bring all the fans you can. You won't leave disappointed.

The Atomic Punks were great if you're looking for a full on tribute band who have the antics and the sound of Van Halen from 1982. The David Lee Roth impersonator has the moves and the voice of the original, but too bad he overplays this gimmick and makes it creepy instead of a tribute. The guy playing "Eddie's" guitar was great! He sounded like the Eddie we all know and love and his licks were hot! Too bad they didn't get the stage until 11:30 pm. The Iron Maidens were technically great and they had the head banger's moves down pat. However their set was way too long, too gimicky and way too over-the-top sexual, but not sexy. The "monsters" they brought on stage were by far too corny for this crowd and they would have been better off without them. The Dealers are a college age garage band that sounded like they could only play frat houses and garages. Out of their league with these other 2 great sounding bands. Overall I would say you got your money's worth, but it was far too long a night before the headliners came out.

... You can't be in the game for that long if you are nothing special. These guys, have been playing bars around Los Angeles for well over 10 years. L.A. club goers are extremely picky and this band always impresses them. Ralph, the singer, has been their from the beginning. The rest of the band has gone through some line-up changes but Ralph always picks wisely. If you get the chance, go see 'em!

Show was rockin'! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it did. 5150 took you thru the Hagar era and sounded great! Atomic Punks then came on with the same bass and drum players as 5150 and took you back to the early Roth era. All musicians rocked, especiall both "Eddie's"!! Good show if you want go back to when Van Halen kicked you know what with Hagar and Roth.

My husband said it was the best birthday he has ever had. We took his parents to the show as well and had a blast. Moving Pictures opened for 5150 and The Atomic Punks. I was never much into Rush but great sound. 5150 was awesome. The pipes on "Sammy" were better than the real thing.
