Didn't know what to expect from the audience or the venue for experimental electronic sound producers like this but it was fine. The crowd were appreciative and seemed to know the music which surprised me. The venue staff were polite. The sound was good although the stage wasn't ideal for the visual components of the show.

Whenever I go to electronic music concerts, i am always afraid that the performers will mostly just play through the tracks on their new album and barely change a thing. Plaid did an amazing job of improvising. They played a two hour set and not a single piece was identical to its album sound. They transitioned between songs beautifully, and it felt like they were making new tracks out of their old ones on the spot. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because a little after halfway through their transitions got lazier and and their song structures less interesting. It seemed like maybe they hadn't prepared enough content for a full 2 hr show, but maybe I was just spoiled by how awesome the first half was.
