This was a bit too far away from the fireworks for me, and the lower fireworks were blocked by buildings. The band was supposed to start at 7:00 p.m., but when we got there at 8:30 p.m. the band was just getting set up, and didn't start until after 9:00 p.m. It was cool that they let everyone out onto the field to get a better view of the fireworks, and it was a great spot to watch without getting involved with the huge crowds. I would recommend this for people with small children, as it is a great way to watch the show without the hassle of being down by the river. If you like being close to the fireworks, this is not the best spot.

Huntington Park is a decent place to watch the fireworks. The benefit to watching from here, is that you have a seat, nice bathrooms, and you don't have to deal with the crowds. On the flip side, the view is obstructed by the Lifestyle building, the sound system needs to be turned up, and the lights need to be turned off. Ironically the AEP Power sign need to be powered down. The sign makes it too bright in the ballpark. I would also move Phil Dirt off the dirt, and further back in the outfield. The band can't be heard from all areas of the park. If they make the few minor changes that I have suggested, this would be a great event.

My husband and I saw Phil Dirt & the Dozers at the Red, White, & Boom concert at Huntington Park. It was a great time and the band played lots of songs from the 60's and 70's. Definitely a family oriented concert. Even the little kids were having a ball.
