fun.

Fun Concert Schedule and Tourfun.'s chart-topping indie pop anthem "We Are Young" was everywhere in 2012, earning the band overnight success and one of music's highest honors: Best New Artist at the 2013 Grammy Awards. The song took home the Grammy for Song of the Year, and, along with anthemic hits like "Carry On" and "Some Nights," propelled the band's 2012 sophomore album Some Nights to the No. 1 position on both the Rock and Alternative Albums charts.

I am 19 years old and this was the first concert i have ever attended. It was sensational. All bands who performed that night (Rosco Bandanas, The Hunter Hunted, and FUN.) put on a hell of a show. I was at awe the entire time. Every song FUN. performed has me feeling out of this world. Nate's voice is amazing and every band member was active and peppy. I loved when nate would talk to the crowd and he smiled at us the entire time, had me feeling like he really wanted to connect with every single person in the audience. It is guaranteed that i will make an appearance at any future FUN. concerts. The concert is definitely one of the top 5 best experiences of my life!!

I had been looking forward to this concert ever since I saw all the ads. A friend ended up winning tickets so that worked out. The original date was cancelled because of a tropical storm and reschedule a few weeks later. When Fun. came on, I was so excited!! I've listened to their album for months! They sounded better live than on the album. I believe they played the whole album. It was a fun and exciting show. The band themselves were super enthusiastic because it was their last show of the 2 year your. I danced the whole night and screamed all the lyrics. They put on a great show. They jumped all around and really get the crowd going. It was simply Fun. Ps. A plus was that their merchandise really wasn't that expensive. They had a lot to chose from.

FUN.'s show at CMAC in Canandaigua was exactly that - great fun! The band sounded great. Nate Ruess' voice was terrific. We had lawn seating, and it was probably the nicest night of the summer - so we lucked out a bit there. The sound was great outside. Inside the concert shell is was a bit too loud for my liking, so I was glad to be outside. The view from there was pretty bad though, but the video screens were good. The crowd was huge, varied in demographic and really into the show. It was some night.

This show was absolutely amazing - best concert I've been to by far! Near the end of the concert my friends and I ended up moving down from the lawn to the stage and we were about ten feet from the stage! The band and the crowd had such great energy and the music was amazing live! Fun. was so real and genuine and you could tell Nate Ruess was so into the performance - it truly made it amazing to watch. I can't wait to attend another Fun. concert!

I would definitely recommend people to come to this concert. They were energetic from the time they got on stage to when the concert ended. It was absolutely fantastic, and I had a wonderful time! So many people were there of all ages, so it is fun for everyone. The opening show, Tegan and Sara, were absolutely amazing too! Go to their concert, you will not be disappointed.

Oh I loved the fun. concert in Milwaukee at Summerfest so very much. Dale's amazing vocals and energy was just superior from start to finish, the concert was fun, uplifting, joyous. I loved the blown confetti near the middle of the show and the glow-in-the-dark balloons were so pretty bouncing in the audience. Great show everyone was singing along - I love their CD so much can't wait for the next one.

Summerfest and Marcus Amphitheater was the beginning of the summer tour and they absolutely killed it! 15 songs, most of them from Some Nights, plus all my personal favorites from Aim & Ignite as well as the cover of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" from the Rolling Stones. It was an amazing night.

I have seen the band Fun. play a couple times previously but playing at the Fox Theater in Oakland made for an amazingly personal and memorable show. The acoustics in the theater lent a hand in some of the foot stomping anthem songs as well as their more subdued ballads. I thought the show was just fantastic and from what I saw around me, so did everyone else singing and dancing along with the music.

FUN. at Radio City Saturday night was an awesome show!! Nate Ruess has an incredible voice and theband was fantastic live!!! I love these guys!!! They are so genuine and sincere and are so grateful for their recent skyrocket to success. They were just as amazed to be there at Radio City performing for us as we were to be there to see the show! They rocked the house when they came out for the first encore with SOME NIGHTS!!! We were up in the Mezzanine and I thought the balcony was going to collapse when everyone jumped up and were dancing and screaming. They closed the show with "You can't always get what you want" cover of the Rolling Stones hit, it was truly a night to remember!! So glad I was there!! GOOD LUCK AT THE GRAMMYS!!!!!!

FUN is an incredible band all around. Nothing can compare to how they performed at this show. The POINT had a fantastic sound system and show line up. The first opening talent, Twenty-One Pilots, was truly a phenomenal group. They had the talent, flair, and attitude that it takes to be performers of their magnitude. The second act, The Joy Formidable, was a much less exciting performance to sit through. They played music that was excellent for the kind of audience that it was written for, but they were most definitely misplaced at this venue. FUN needs no description. It was their show and they stole it.

The venue was a room in my daughters college rec center, nothing special at all, but the amazing talent of Fun. pulled you out of your surroundings and into their music. Nate Ruess's incredible vocals had the audience mesmerized, and the original songs are a unique, diverse expression of their talent. I wish the T-Shirt stand had taken VISA or PayPal, but was happy to see what we wanted available online, where I purchased 5 shirts for me and my 4 daughters attending the concert.

This was a diamond in the rough!... being general admission and "standing only", I didn't know how it would go since I was bringing my 2 kids. (plus, to be perfectly honest, I liked the songs I heard on the radio but wasn't "totally into them" from what I had listened to - I did it more for my kids).. But we got there early and waited because I knew the kids wouldn't be able to see if we weren't in the front and, sure enough, found ourselves up at the barrier. I expected to enjoy the concert, but instead I was BLOWN AWAY! Nate's voice is unbelievably strong and awesome and the instrumentals were outstanding as well. They just sounded amazing and I would absolutely seek to get to another concert soon. I look forward to following the progression of their music because I think they're versatile and creative. I just feel incredibly lucky to have taken a chance on this and scored BIG TIME!

Took my 13-year old to see this show. My expectations were low - an outdoor venue, expecting to stand the whole time, a bunch of tweens. The venue was much better than I expected - there was more than enough room for everyone to move about comfortably. If you wanted to sit, you could sit on the superdome steps (but if you wanted to be close you had to stand). Bathrooms were clean and no lines. And best of all there were food & liquor vendors! Two opening acts for the show - both very good and rocking. fun. was much more entertaining than I'd expected. Sound & lights were great, and the band was engaging, played songs you expected to hear, and the show was just the right length since we were all standing. Still lots of tweens and teens, but all ages were represented. Surpassed my expectations.

They are really funny and just put on an awesome show. The singer Nate, man that guy can rock a crowd. He runs around all over stage and never once did his voice sound weak or winded like other performers I've seen. That guy must have crazy cardio! They just keep the audience involved and played an awesome show. Best concert I've ever seen of any genre, hands down! Tegan and Sara were really good, too! I absolutely loved this concert. We were semi-close to the front, over to the right hand side, but could see everything perfectly. I hadn't gone hugely into Tegan and Sara before the concert, but my friend had and was freaking out when they played all his favorite songs. I thought they were very good and had great harmony together, they gave a good show and Tegan was so sweet, she thanked the audience after every song. I was there for fun., though. They began with the wonderful intro to Some Nights, wearing suits and ties that they ripped off at the end of the song to reveal normal (if somewhat random/hipstery) clothing (Jack had on a sweater that had a bunch of black birds on it? haha). Anyway, their intro was great and Nate's voice is EXACTLY the same as on CD, except of course nicer because you're there with him. He sounds amazing, and when Andrew sang I loved his voice as well. Andrew spent most of his time on the keyboard, trumpet and sometimes timpani, while Jack played his guitar. There was a girl in the background also playing guitar who I realized sang all the female parts on each track; her voice was perfect for it and the band was awesome about directing attention to her throughout the show, especially during her parts, so that she didn't get ignored as just another background figure. In fact, no one on stage was just a "background" player; Nate frequently ran across the stage to each musician in turn and sang (very enthusiastically) next to them as they played. The drummer was my favorite; he carried the show with his incredible amount of energy. You could tell he was happy to be there and excited about the show as the leads and the audience were, and at one point with Nate singing next to him he was mouthing the lyrics (or possibly singing, though we couldn't hear his voice at all) as he drummed. The other guitar player also interacted greatly with the band, especially Jack. They kept doing these coordinated moves like jumps and kicks and running around and they looked great together. This guitar player also had epic hair (anyone familiar with Doctor Who might call it "emo/punk Matt Smith hair") and he kept flipping it forward and back as he played. I don't know how he didn't get a head rush after a while, but it was awesome. At one point the band was talking to the audience and telling us how they absolutely loved being in Tahoe, this was their first time here and for the last three days they'd been exploring, jet skiing and golfing at the high-priced nearby course (which Nate said this concert was paying for). Someone in the audience yelled something like, "Sorry about the smoke!!" The fire bordering Yosemite had blown a lot of smoke into Tahoe and it had been pretty bad that morning, and only slightly less bad that night as the breeze blew it away. The band members were so cool about it though; Jack told us about how their manager had called them before they got there and warned them about it and said they might not want to do the concert, and all of them had replied with a resounding, "fuck that!" which was very much appreciated by the audience. My friend and I had been worried about how the bands would feel about running and jumping around and playing music and singing with the smoke in the air, and whether any of them had asthma that would make it difficult for them, but one of them said it wasn't even that bad. Tegan and Sara had earlier also said the smoke wasn't that bad and not a problem, so we were glad to hear they were feeling good about it. My favorite moment: I can't remember which song, but in the middle of it Nate tried to put "Tahoe" in the lyrics; unfortunately, more syllables were needed to fit it into the rhythm. The music stopped as he turned to Andrew and asked him what they could say there instead, and apologized to the audience with a grin. Andrew was like, "Dude, you can fit... you can fit, like, two Tahoes in there." Nate said, "You sing it then!" So Andrew sang the previous few lines of song (in a gorgeous, deep voice), and managed to end with "Lake Tahooooe" on a grin. Then Nate went back to the mic in centerstage, laughing so hard he couldn't sing for a full minute. Finally he composed himself and went right back into the song again. It was perfect and adorable. All in all, a really energetic and enthusiastic performance with so much feeling to it. Nate's voice was always sincere in his songs (not just making it sound nice but actually singing into the lyrics and mood of the song), the group's banter to the audience wasn't cheesy or contrived but actually a conversation that they were enjoying as much as we were, and every song was perfect. The 3-song encore was fantastic, as was the intro. I loved every moment of it, and judging by the fact that the entire audience stood for the entire hour and 45 minute or so performance, I'd say everyone else did too. 10/10, would recommend, and would see again as soon as they're back anywhere near the area. They said they'd come back to Tahoe on tour again as soon as their next album was made. :)

I saw FUN with special guests Tegan and Sara in Columbus, it was about 95 degrees, we spent hours standing on our feet and were told that the line to get in was about 2.5 miles long and it was worth it! Tegan and Sara were awesome in person, I liked them live even more than I liked their latest album, they know how to work a crowd for sure. FUN was just as good and rocked the house! I highly recommend seeing this show, you won't regret it!

I didnt know tegan and sara very well, but they definitely started things off right. Whats more, fun. is one of my favorite bands. Needless to say, I had a great time. One thing I will say, always bring cash to concerts! I forgot and couldn't get any drinks, which lead to a very hot and sober night. Oh, and there were a lot of kids and families there.

Nate is either naturally the most hyper person alive, or one of the most amazing stage performers out there! He was a one man show on his own. Everyone got a chance to see him as he was all over the stage, but vocals were on point!! Andrew was awesome! He is so versatile and rolled with the punches, even adding a little comedy to his tunes when Nate apparently forgot the lyrics to a song (which they made into quite a shtick). Jack made sure to keep the crowd going at all times, even when vocals weren't present, and appeared to be lost in his own love of the music. It was by far one of the best concerts I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). There was never a dull moment, the audience was extremely diverse, the open air concert still sounded just as awesome as an arena, and my friends and I are still exchanging pics and videos and talking about it days later!! I hope to see them again!!!

Fun put on an amazing show. They were full of energy yet brought the crowd to beautiful, emotional places at times. The singer added elements of comedy too and interacted with the crowd, which I enjoyed. And it goes without saying, his voice is phenominal. The lighting was neat and I loved it when they made it snow (as it appeared) with confetti covering New Orleans. It was a great time. My husband even enjoyed it and he is not a fan (but he might be now lol!!!)

This band is one of the few that sounds great live. Even though we were their last stop this tour, their energy was high and they seemed truly excited to be there. When they weren't singing, they were still entertaining and kept the crowd's spirits up the whole night. The two opening bands (Rosco Bandana and Hunter Hunted) were both amazing as well. I immediately wanted to download everything Rosco Bandana has ever made. Theyre that good AND both bands had no problem walking through/hanging out with the crowd after they performed. I can't say the same for Fun. but they probably didn't want to get mobbed by the hoards of screaming 13 year old girls. Lol All-in-all it was great.. especially when lyrics were forgotten and bananas were sung with.

Everyone in Champion Square was having a FUN time Thursday night at the Fun. concert. Great last show of the most nights tour. Opening bands were good too. I enjoyed Rosco Bandana. Hunter Hunted was amazing and they did a great job getting everyone revved up for Fun. They were so good I bought there cd and got pics and autographs. Fun. came out and played and did not dissapoint. Everyone was singing along and we all had a great time. Jack jamming on his guitar, a surprise performance with rebirth brass band, and Nate forgetting the words to The Gambler while Andrew and Jack laugh at him were just a few of the highlights. The sound was nice. I like that I was able to hear them all but not have my ears blasted off. Nate said they're going to be making their next album. (Note: Can't remember the exact order of the songs but in the setlist I will put which ones they played.

The venue was great, the best security and helpful venue staff I have yet seen at at any Atlanta venue.Food, drink and bathroom facilities so easy found... security will help you find. I had mosh pit tickets and was amazed even though arriving late, plenty of room. I do loved it being an all ages concent. Teen age girls in front of me taking pics and grabbing confetti <3 Fun. was excellent, I sang and danced my ass off with my spouse! Couples of all ages, genders, welcome and the arena was excellent! Sight lines were all great. Music was excellent, the band gave a stellar performance and the opening act Hunter Hunted I would go see of them being the main act.

FUN. was fun plain and simple! They are definitely one of those bands that give you your money's worth in concert. Nate's voice is amazing and sounds just as good in person as he does on CD. The performance was high energy. They play to the crowd and I loved the confetti snow angle. The two bands opening up for them Roscoe Bandana and Hunter Hunted were also good. They definitely helped get he party started.

Wow! I drove several hours to catch this show. Thought I'd left in plenty of time to get to Berkeley in time to grab good seats. Got stuck parking far from the venue, so my daughter and I walked in right before the show started. Man, was I shocked to see that every seat was filled all the way up to the itty bitty pieces of lawn at the top! We took our seats, and usually being down somewhere in the front, I just had to accept our nosebleed seats and go with the flow. What a show! So much energy and perfect sound and fantastic guitar jamming and that voice!!! Oh, that voice....I am a big fan of that voice! Nate was so entertaining and personable....my daughter remarked that he sincerely seemed that he wanted to give each and every person in that venue a good show -- and I have to agree with that. He was so personable and his words so heartfelt and his singing so powerfully beautiful and refreshing...I think this is the closest I'll ever get to imagining a live performance by Freddy Mercury...

What a perfect evening for FUN! The Verizon Amphitheater is a great concert venue. We couldn't have asked for more perfect evening to experience the FUN performance. NATE Reuss is an incredibly talented performer and never slowed down the entire show. His vocal ability is amazing and the band just seemed to enjoy themselves entertaining the audience which varied in age. It is a show that I would highly recommend, but only after you 'ved listened and learned their music. Its much more fun to be able to sing along. There was great audience participation on their three more recognizable hits, "carry on", "we are young" & "some nights". The light show was pretty cool too!

Fun. was very impressive in concert. Nate was adorable, and very enthusiastic while singing, and interacting with the crowd. My only complaint would be the warm up band. When I go to a show I would expect a band similar to who I'm seeing, this was not the case for this concert. Chitty Bang was a hip hop/rap group that was just obnoxious to listen to, and I'm not anti rap by any means. Overall, see Fun. if you have the chance. I know I will see them the next time they come to Portland for sure.
