Having seen this wonderful band open for Alice Cooper & Rob Zombie in a large venue during the 2010 Gruesome Twosome Tour, I knew I was in for a treat to see them as the headliner in a place that holds a few hundred folks. There is no barracade, so the whole place is "the pit" making it hard to see, much less photograph the band. Bottom line, once I left the front I was forced to shoot the band thru the numerous hands holding up cell phones & point & shoot cameras. Most of my shots are of a camera/phone in front of Joey's or Wednesday 13's face. The music was great and they played many of their hits including Slit my Wrist and Dead in Hollywood as well as some new songs Bloodstained Valentine and Nowhere. So, despite the frustration of watching the show thru the cellphones & small cameras attatched to uplifted arms, I enjoyed myself very much. Note to concert goers - please be considerate to the people behind you and don't hold your phone/camera up in the air all night. Let the people behind you also see the show, not just the screen of your phone/camera.

I bought two tickets to this show...one for me, the other was a surprise for my boyfriend. The opening band, Gemini Syndrome, was amazing. Wednesday and the guys put on an incredible all hallows eve show. Definitely a night to remember.
