I was expecting to goto a DJ performance, but what I saw was alsolutely amazing!! Never seen anything like that before. The audio-visual mixture was full of emotions. It engrossed you in the life of the characters. Not going to spill any beans, but if you get a chance, do watch it. Doesnt matter what kind of music you like.

I wish they had more than one performance. I would've seen it at least 2 more times. My co-workers made fun of me. They thought I went to see a DJ puppet show and movie. It was so much more than that. When the Afiara Quartet played their first notes, my jaw dropped. Then I smiled. I knew this was some serious stuff. I knew I was gonna enjoy myself. Kid Koala makes all his performances enjoyable. As the film/puppeteers started, I was just so thankful. I felt so privileged to be in that room/hall. I felt like everyone in L.A. who wasn't there was missing out on something so unique and special. I decided right then and there at the beginning...that I was just gonna "lose myself" in the performance. I knew that I'd never be able to see this show ever again. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

Blown away by this unique multimedia show: inventive, musically rich, technologically and cinematically impressive, full of humor and heart. You'll be rooting for this lovelorn robot. Great for all ages -- lots of kids at the show we went to and they loved it. A must-see. Catch it on tour if it comes to your town.

I didn't know what to expect at first but judging from what little I was able to understand from hearing a brief synopsis of it on KCRW, I thought it would at the very be least intriguing. It was everything I expected and so much more. The puppets were being filmed real time and projected onto the screen, culminating in a unique hybrid of film and real-time performance. Combining such disparate elements as turntables, 4 piece string quartet, puppets and real time filming certainly makes for a unique and almost once in a life time experience.

An amazing combination of Kid Koala's incredible turntable virtuosity, and Adira Amram's self-aware, irony-infused pop/rock. Not only is the music catchy as hell, but the interaction with the crowd is genuine, heartfelt fun. I've been to so many concerts where you feel alone in the crowd - this show made us want to look at each other and smile.
