It was incredible, the bands were great. I loved Cavo and Sick Puppies. It was my first time to X-Fest, I definately will not forget it. I will be back next year for sure. Seether was great too, he isn't great at getting the fans going, but he has a great voice. But Sick Puppies were so great, they was amazing live!!!!!!!

My daughter & I went to X-fest for our very first time & LOVED it!! We go to Rock on the Range every year but this was WAY better, the scheduling was excellent also. Did'nt have to miss any bands performing, you could see it all! Every band did a meet & greet & it was all FREE!! It was so unreal & amazing :) We are going to continue to go to every X-fest from here on out! Finally got to meet my #1 band ---PAPA ROACH <3 Thank You X-fest!!!!!!

Line up was rockin... didn't like the short sets but hey mass bands and never a shortage of solid Rock. Sick Puppies were off the Chain.... Emma, you freakin rock. Pappa Roach always leaves you wanting more... Seether set up Shinedown flawlessly...

The show was amazing! Papa Roach should have been the headliner!! Seether and Sublime also did an awesome show. Buckcherry... on the other hand ... Disappointing. I don't know if it was the sound or what. 1/3 of the crowd left during the first 4 songs. Verizon did a great job as usual. LOVE THE VENUE!! We go to X-Fest along with all the other big concerts every year. Always the best!

Ok... It used to be all day, three stages, tons of people, showers, beads, rock climbing wall, just the event you waited for ALL YEAR LONG!!!! This year, snoooooze! Later start, only one stage, higher beer/soft drink prices, less people. No beads allowed. Really now... Unless things are promised to be much better like when Linkin Park played, nah... Probably won't bother coming back. X-fest is dead! BTW: Papa Roach was a LOT better than Buck Cherry The one thing that was a MAJOR blunder, not paying enough tribute to the day. Come on, it affected us all in some way.

I think Papa Roach should have headlined!!!! This was the second time I had seen Papa, and they rocked both times! Buck Cherry was a bit of a dis appointment. We left before they were finished. Dirty Heads SUCKED! Sublime with Rome was ok.

First of all, Papa Roach continues to be an excellent show band -- why they are not afforded more respect and given greater stature is beyond me. My son and I have seen them eight times over the past 4-5 years and they never disappoint -- always high intensity and excellent! Second of all, Buckcheery is NOT strong enough to headline a major concert. This Wednesday we will see Buckcherry open for Three Days Grace and Nickleback in Fort Wayne. The fact that Buckcherry was the headliner shows that Xfest in Indy is becoming more of a non-event; I believe this is the second time they have headlined the Indy Xfest (wish we had Shinedown who headlined Dayton Xfest). Also the lineup order was questionable: the order of Drowning Pool, The Dirty Heads, Papa Roach, Sublime, Seether resulted in a strange mixture of music. It would have been better to have Sublime follow The Dirty Heads elevating Papa Roach to play before Seether. Alternatively replacing The Dirty Heads with another rock band would have been even better. Seether -- the co-headliner -- played less than 40 minutes! This is way too short for a band the stature of Seether; typically the co-headliners both play 1-hour. Sublime played a very good set -- their sound was tight and clean; Rome's vocals and playing were excellent. The Dirty Heads were good if you were on a beach of a cruise ship; but not a rock concert. Red Line Chemistry was quite enjoyable and I had never heard of them before. Haste The Day was OK -- my son liked them quite a bit; however the fact they were from Carmel High School near Indy had to be a big plus for them.

I loved spending the whole afternoon and evening enjoying the great music, my friends, and beautiful outdoor weather Sat. I especially enjoyed Dirty Heads and Sublime! Only bad things, needed a few more bathrooms inside, the only beer they served was Coors and Miller when Bud Light is a big brand too, not to mention how outrageous the food and drinks are priced!

Papa Roach and Seether were the best! Disappointed Seether didn't have a longer set list. The Drowning Pool was pretty good too! Was glad to see the Drowning Pool paying tribute to our service men on this special day, I think some of the other bands could have said or done something in rememberance. I also thought the venue could of had some Video Monitors up beside the stage. Sound was awesome!

Weakness
Papa Roach was really good. Sublime was out of place in the order. Didnt have much to offer. Seether was good. Buckcherry was good, could have been better if crowd wasnt leaving. Of course the crowd was leaving because the beer was cutoff at 8:30. Just a couple of songs into Sublime, with two bands to go all alcohol was cut off, unless you had VIP passes. It was a shame when the Buckcherry guitar player was telling the crowd to raise their drinks with him and no one had anything to raise. I have been to 50 plus concerts out at Verizon and this was by far the earliest for the cut off. Very weak.

The only band that was enjoyable to watch was Papa Roach. I was pretty impressed by them, having never seen them live before. I was looking forward to Seether, but they seemed distracted and rather unmotivated to play or pump up the crowd whatsoever. This is the last time I ever buy tickets pre-sale for this show again.

This is my second year for this rock show, and this year's lineup was pretty good. There was a definite gap from startup bands (Redline Chemistry, American Bang, Paper Tongues) to the headlining potential (Sick Puppies, Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Seether, Shinedown), but it was a great show. The healiner stage was worth it by itself. Huge crowd, GA standing room (with grand stand seats a mile away). After last year, I have been anxiously waiting for this year and was not disappointed. I am definitely looking to next year.

What a way to end the summer. When I first arrived at the site of this concert, I thought the area was way too small. But the set up of the stages opposite each other was fantastic. Papa Roach, never disappoints. This is my 3rd time seeing them. My first time seeing Seether, and I will definitely look for more shows with them. This is my 6th time seeing Shinedown live and each time is like seeing them for the first time. Absolutely amazing!! They rip your heart out and devour you soul with their intense performance. Bring these bands back next year please.

This is my second time comming to the show and the overall event is good. The line up has been good and the bands have played good. I dont like the 8pm curfue though. But the biggest problem is the autograph area. Waiting in like for 2 hours to meet a band, while missing other bands playing on the stages, and not actaully getting to meet anyone is beyond rediculus. You need to allow more then 15 minutes per band, and theres no reason why you cant have more then one line set up. Maybe have 4 different stations with a different band at each station for 30 minutes each or longer.

I would have given the show 5 stars but there were a couple of bands that just couldnt keep up the energy level. Once we got to Drowning Pool they were able to get the energy up, but then it went away when Dirty Heads came out. Next Papa Roach was amazing, but they always are and everyone seemed to be really into it. Following them Sublime with Rome which for me seemed to be a rest period so that we could get ready for Seether and Buckcherry. Seether was also good, and Buckcherry was what I expected, always entertaining.

In our group we had three 15-16 year old boys, a 30-something Mom, and a 40-something Mom. We were all in agreement that Papa Roach was by far the best band at the show. This year's XFest was a good time and still fun, but the bands were a little disappointing compared to prior years. Papa Roach is great live, and Paper Tongues were awesome. But instead of at least one A+ band, they got 3 or 4 B grade bands. Was good but nothing that you HAD to see or anybody that popped! Plus the way the autograph booth is set up is atrocious!! Should have two booths so people can get in line for the one they want instead of 500 people in line for 6 different bands, and only 30 get through each band because of them allowing people to stand up there taking 20 pictures and talking. Radio station just doesn't know how to handle things very well, and by now they should

great event with a great lineup of bands & you can't beat it for the cost. the only thing I would like to see done differently is spacing the performances a little further apart to give room for making it from one to the next and maybe a different order of lineup (Papa Roach should have closed that show).

One word:Amazing. The news even said that there were several noise complaints from neighbors around the fairgrounds--hahah heck yea! Thats the way a rock show should be. I had never seen Seether live, but have heard that they were awesome live, and they lived up to that. Shinedown had the same set list as when I saw them last month on the Carnival or Madness, but they still seemed to impress me yet again. Papa Roach hands down still has the title of best live rock band. Have seen them 7 times and this was probably the most rowdy I have seen a crowd. They always have an amazing stage presence and get the crowd into it.

So..where do I being with X-fest 2010? I discovered a new band i may start listening to known as Red Line Chemistry. They are really good if you like Alice in chains, and live they arent too bad either for being a new band. Was never a Haste the day fan so I just stood there for them Dirty heads were boring, I will tell you now as was Sublime. I dozed off during both of their sets. Papa Roach put on an amazing show as always as did Seether. And I did not stay for Buck Cherry.

Overall the festival was only decent. The band selection was okay. The setting was a giant fairgrounds, so hay and slight odor were around, but that you got used to. Papa Roach was very good, Seether had a flu going around so their performance was only so-so compared to the other times I've seen them, but they still held it together and pulled through a great show so mad props to them. The highlight was definitely meeting shinedown!!! This was actually my tenth shinedown show (yes I realize that's ridiculous) and they had an autograph tent for all the artists at designated times; however, they sucked at keeping the line going, so maybe about 50 people got to actually meet any bands. We were in line for 2 and a half hours and were after the time cut off, the only reason we actually got back was because my boyfriend uses a wheelchair and they accomodate to handicapped. Oh well, on a selfish note it was spectacular for us, but for the other hundreds of fans waiting in line-huge disappointment.

X should let the fans set the stage line-up. Sublime...really? Who cares? Dirty Heads? Drowning Pool has better material and should have played later in the line-up. Papa Roach and Seether are both headliner worthy. Papa Roach puts on a hell of a show and Seether has more talent than all the other bands put together. Shaun Morgan got ripped off and couldn't even play a full set due to time constraints. I was happy that X didn't make me have to sit through Buckcherry in order see Seether. The traffic cops outside weren't prepared for the mass exodus of fans who don't care about Buckcherry....of which I was one!!!

This was my second year attending X-Fest at Harris Riverfront Park. The show was GREAT! Nonpoint put on an incredible show, Cavo was excellent, Sick Puppies was fantastic, and Seether was my favorite! I had seen all these bands before at different venues/festivals but I wasn't disappointed in the least. The venue (Harris Riverfront Park) was a great atmoshpere, and a great crowd. Everyone there had a great time. The only disappointment about the evening was that my daughter and I didn't get Seether autographs. We left our spot at the front of the crowd (Cavo was putting on a great show) to get in line for autographs, stood there for over an hour, got to within 15 feet of the table only to be told we were too far back in line to get an autograph. We did get autographs and photos with Nonpoint, who were very gracious and stayed at the table for at least an extra 15 minutes to see more fans. All in all, it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back again next year!

I'm one of the old school elite who rocked out back in the 90's to Xfest at Ritter Park Ampitheater. I've been going to Xfest on and off since. (I can't make them all as I travel for work). The last best show ever was Xfest 2004. The lineup was incredible and the energy even better. Xfest has been spiraling downhill ever since. This last particular show, was poorly managed / communicated. They would not sell anymore VIP bracelets. Why? The VIP pit wasn't even 1/2 full. The beers were warm the entire time and the service staff was fairly rude. Unfortunately, the local and loud stage did not get the promotion it normally does either. Where was the 2nd stage lineup posted? The selection of band gear and other vendors was terrible. Where were the smaller vendors who used to sell all kinds of stuff from headbands, jewelry, to various clothing? I'm just gonna say, I have retired this event. Rock on the range is where it's at now. Sorry Xfest....get it together please.

Plenty of room at the venue. I saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes, all having a blast! Papa Roach and Shinedown stole the show, as usual!!! The weather was simply perfect, too...I can't think of anything that I would change about my experience, except that I would have loved to have been able to get autographs from PR--but the line was way too long, and they only had 20 minutes or so to meet and greet.

It was a really good show. All the bands sounded great. Thought the crowd surfing got a little carried away. Kicked in the the head 4 times in one song. Also do not understand why cameras are not allowed but you can take pictures with your cell phone. It is easier to get pictures out with a phone than a camera. Found a new band to love in Janus. Those boys where amazing. Great stage energy and they sounded just as good if not better live as the album. It was an over all good time and the set up of the fair grounds was really good. X Fest 15 was awesome this year! Papa Roach was definitely the best once again. They can't be beat when it comes to live performances. Sick Puppies was really good too. I'm really glad they replaced Sublime. Shinedown was 10 times better than the last time I saw them in concert. The one band I have to pick on though is Seether. It seemed like they had no clue what they were doing! They played their instruments for 10 whole minutes without singing anything (LAME). And when they finally got around to singing, they didn't sound too great :/ They also skipped lines in several of their songs. So... all in all... The Concert was GREAT!!!!!! I am definitely going next year, and for many years to come :)

the concert was AMAZING!!! Shinedown, Seether, Papa Roach?!?! I couldn't have asked for a better combination.. I just hope that they all tour together again VERY soon in the future. Only thing I regret is not being able to see Seether on the other stage. I stayed at the main stage to be front row for Shinedown (which was awesome, don't get me wrong), but they don't sing to the crowd like Seether and Papa Roach does. I still would recommend it to everyone!!
