What an amazing night! The Greek Theatre has always been my favorite LA concert venue, and Saturday night with Josh Groban was spectacular! It was a beautiful evening (70-something degrees) outdoors under the stars.

You can't get better than a performance from Sarah McGlocklin and Josh Groban! The event was not only captivating but I never wanted the evening to end. I can't say enough great things about the performances. The opening performance by Foy Vance was so smooth and relaxing... I ended up getting his album during the intermission. Sara was very humble and also funny at times with her stories. Josh had them both on stage with him for duets and it brought my to tears a few times while taking my breath away others. Can't wait to see them again in another performance. This is what real artists and singers sound like.

A wonderfully intimate setting! Compared to the mega arenas that I've seen him in before. He was spontaneous, funny, and of course sang with that glorious voice that melts the masses! It was so different in that it was like watching a sit-com, a stand-up comic, and an outstanding musician/vocalist all rolled up into one FUN evening!

I cannot be objective about this. I have been a fan of Josh Groban's for many years, and as long as he is in the same room (however big or small) with me, I am a very happy camper. That said, this concert was wonderful. Josh has a wonderful rapport with his audience, and although I love his singing, and I came to this concert to hear his singing, if he had never sung a note I would have considered it well worth the money I spent for the tickets. My seats were seventh row, dead center, and couldn't have been better. Josh was warm and loving and included us all in everything he did. I loved everything about this small, intimate concert experience with him.

Josh Groban is an AMAZING singer. I feel so lucky to have gotten tickets to this event, that I will surely never forget. The event was at the Balboa Theater in downtown San Diego. This theater is so beautiful and they could not have picked a better place to give this very personal and intimate concert. Josh had only a couple of musicians with him. They played a great set, but it wasn't a set list since he was taking suggestions from the audience as to what we wanted to hear him sing. And boy oh boy can he sing!!!! Truely amazing. He also took time to speak from the heart to us so as to get to know him better. He is a very funny person, because I was in tears from laughter. It was almost like two shows in one -- a concert and a stand up routine. I had a blast and I cannot wait until he hopfully returns in concert. LOVED IT!!!!!!!

The whole evening was OTT! The idea of the show was clever and well thought out. Josh NEVER disappoints. The repartee with the audience was really professional. He worked the stage with confidnece and ease. The song list was great--golden oldies and a hint of new. Only one complaint: The sound was really bad. The piano was over amped and sounded like a broken spinet. With that voice, Josh didn't need an over amped mike! BUT I would pay 10 times the price to see that program again! Kudos to you Josh.

It's not quite a concert. It's more of an intimate meeting with the fans. Groban only does about 10 songs acoustically. The lack of instrumentation really allowed his voice to shine. He spent a good amount of the 1.5 hours telling stories and interracting with the audience, even drinking a glass of wine. The drawback was that many of the audience members felt the need to approach the stage, pass personal items up and yell out loud. It became a bit unruly for my taste. Disregarding the antics, Josh Groban is warm, funny and has a voice sent from heaven!

This was my 8th Josh concert and it was by far the most intimate. I loved the acoustics of the venue and how small it was. Of course everything Josh did was amazing. He sang some of his old stuff which was refreshing and introduced the audience to some of his new songs. Overall it was an amazing experience. The reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was that I was extremely distracted by a couple things. The first being all the cameras. I thought for certain there would be no cameras allowed. Now, I don't mind if a person wants to take a photo or two but EVERYONE around me took photo after photo. The lights and flashes really distracted me from his performance. Also, SOME of the fans that came to this venue were really obnoxious. They would just shout out things over and over trying to get his attention. Yes, I understand that the whole point of this intimate setting was to be able to have that sort of back and forth but after screaming "Josh..ITS MY BIRTHDAY" 10 or 12 times...I don't think he is going to respond. I also didn't appreciate someone screaming/heckling him to perform a certain song throughout the course of the night. But like I said overall, it was an amazing experience and I feel blessed to have experienced the magic of Josh.

I absolutely loved it. It was intimate and improvised, so I felt like I got to see some of the real Josh and that there would never be another show like that one. He was funny and charming and of course he sang like an angel. It was great to hear songs from his very first album as well as from the new album. It was a lot of fun when he had the house lights turned on and just talked with the audience.

I enjoyed this Josh Groban concert at the Balboa Theater as a change from his previous concerts that are usually held in huge arenas. The show was very informal with a lot of interaction with the audience. The stage was set like a living room and a few lucky fans were invited to come up on stage to sit in the sofas and enjoy the show from there. It was like spending an evening with an old friend who just happens to have an incredibly beautiful voice. Josh accompanied himself on the piano for many of the songs with only two other musicians backing him up for the whole show. He sang a mix of new and old songs, including several songs in Italian which are my favorites. I hope he does more small concerts in the future.

Having a concert at a smaller event made it more personal for people to interact. He encouraged the audience to participate to ask question. He allowed his personality to show versus a choreographed concert. It felt like a coffee shop performance. Thanks Josh for the great experience.

I enjoyed that it was a very intimate setting. Josh Groban did talk a lot. When he did sing it was great. We got to hear some of his new songs and only a few older ones. He did not sing any of his hit songs. My daughter loved it and that makes me happy. She also had a better seat than I did. It was worth the price we paid for the tickets. Only odd thing about the concert was when he invited people onto the stage because the people were odd. We came to see Josh Groban not them. Leave them in their seats.

The curtain rose to reveal Josh Groban lying on a sofa with his dog, Sweeney. This moment set the tone for an unbelievably relaxed and informal concert. Reduced to just a piano, keyboard and guitar, Josh was able to showcase his amazing voice---just the voice--and without a 60 piece orchestra or lush, over dubbed arrangement. Josh took questions from the audience and shared moments from his life and career. He even invited a few people to join him on stage---an 83 yr old grandmother, birthday girl, old married couple and newly wed gay men. He was charming with everyone. Josh sang several new songs from his upcoming album, as well as old favorites. His voice is as beautiful as ever. And I hope to see him again in this small venue.

We has a great time at the Josh Groban "Before We Begin" Show at the Balboa Theater on Sunday night. However, they should have called the show--An Intimate Evening with Josh Groban. Rather than a traditional concert, it ended up being about 11 songs and Josh sharing with his audience. I enjoyed the banter and stories. I enjoyed his playing the piano and the fact that he only had two other musicians with him. . . . I enjoyed that his voice was even better than on his albums. I did not enjoy the group getting up on stage portion--Get rid of that! The Balboa theater was from top to bottom FABULOUS! The acoustics are terrific and the seating was comfortable. An intimate small theater--where EVERYONE can see the stage--how wonderful in this day and age! Would go to see Josh again--especially in a small venue and will most definitely will start looking for other shows in the Balboa Theater. A good night for everyone involved!

My husband and I were lucky enough to experience a meet & greet with Josh, pre-concert dinner & front row seats. What a way to experience my favorite artist. Josh could not have been any nicer! What celebrity allows their fans to experience them on such an intimate level?? The Tower Theater, on the other hand, should have been embarrassed at their establishment. The only thing Josh remembered about The Tower Theater was that the air conditioning didn't work........well.......it didn't work on this year either! The audience was perspiring and poor Josh, in and jacket and dress shirt was drenched before the intermission. He must have complained because after intermission they turned up the air, very little, but at least they turned it up.

This was the 6th Josh concert for me and my husband. Our first was right here at The Tower so it was especially fun to return to his roots. But what made this a night I'll never forget was being one of the ten Friends of Josh Groban Fan club members to have won a Meet and Greet with Josh. Very exciting! He was so down to earth, adorable and humble. Truly a professional. Now on to the concert. His new CD, Stages is superb! As a lover of theatre music, it is one of my favorites. Of course the classic Josh songs were not sung but never missed due to the strong selection of songs performed. My favorites were "Bring him home" and "Over the Rainbow". If you love his music you should take in his concert. You will not stop seeing him again and again and never get tired of his performance. Thank you Josh for my night to remember. E

Hearing Josh Groban sing anytime on CD is an amazing experience just appreciating the blending of his beautiful voice with his wonderful orchestra, and how it takes your very soul to its zen place just by closing your eyes and listening. Being present at one of Josh's concerts, hearing and watching him sing live, the amazement is magnified and your soul soars with appreciation that he shares his beautiful voice and gratefulness that you get to be there to hear it. This was near the end of Josh's "In the Round" tour. He had to be tired. Yet, he gave us his everything. His best. He skimped on nothing. I wish I could just say "thank you" to him. My precious husband of 42 years drove us from South Carolina to Orlando to see the concert. He loved it, too. We'd do it again and we will be at the next one we can get to. After two big tours, I hope Josh gets a very well deserved rest. He gives his fans so much.

I was thrilled to see Josh for the second time in concert on November 9th in Orlando. I had a front row seat so it doesn't get much better. I'm not sure if I really liked the fact that the concert was in the round because most of the time he was still pretty far away. It's a good concept to give more people an opportunity to see him up close but when you buy a front row seat and then he's not even within eyesight half the time because he's on the opposite side of the "oval track" it's a little disappointing. Thank goodness for the projection screens so you could always see him somehow. Even with this, I still thought the concert was absolutely fantastic and as a singer myself I'm in awe of his pitch perfect vocals and ability to still sound so amazing at the end of his tour. I was also one of the lucky people to meet Josh before the show, and even though I was overwhelmed with happiness and got choked up when we met it was still a fantastic moment....he was very sweet and my only wish is that it wasn't so rushed but of course there's a lot of people to get through so they have to keep things moving and I understand that.

I was looking forward to finally getting to experience Josh live, but I had no idea I'd enjoy it this much! He sounds just as wonderful live as he does on CD. In between songs he would do some talking, and he has such a fun personality he had the whole crowd laughing. Never would have guessed. The tickets were worth every penny. The performance and energy coming from both Josh and the band members just keeps you enthralled in the entire performance. They were all actively moving around the stage, so not a single seating section had to stare at their backs the entire show. Not a bad seat in the house!

Josh puts on INCREDIBLE live shows! My friend said it best, "You would think you were listening to a CD!" Yes, his voice is THAT amazing live! I could listen to him sing the phone book and be happy. This was the fifth time I'd seen him in concert and vocally, probably one of the strongest performances. He is backed by an amazing band who are clearly having as much fun as he is. I love the "in the round" setting and felt that he visited every side of the audience equally--I'd love more performances of this type!!

While the evening started with Judith Hill, once Josh Groban came on stage we were mezmorized. We had great seats, we could see him clearly. He is not only a great singer but a wonderful entertainer as well. He really connects with the audience and has a great sense of humor. You Raise Me Up made my night. The song is special to me as it brings back memories of a dear, deceased friend. She raised me up time and again.

Josh Groban brought his Stages Summer Tour to Chicago at the First Merit Bank Pavilion on 8/9/16. He had 2 opening acts, Foy Vance and Sarah McLachlan, who were both great! Josh sang songs from his Broadway inspired cd 'Stages' and also threw in some of his hits, as well as duets with Foy Vance on 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and Sarah McLachlan on 'Angel'. The concert was 2.5 hours long and was amazing! Josh never fails to give a great performance, and meeting him beforehand and getting to go on the stage as part of the 'On Stage' experience was really cool!

Josh Groban never disappoints. His show at Mohegan Sun on July 29 was wonderful filled with a mix of songs from his Stages album, as well as his previous albums. He also graces us with his wonderful humor. I have seen Josh over 50 times and cannot wait for the next show!

I saw Josh Groban live in NYC many years ago in Madison Square Garden. He sounded great then and all these years later, he still sounds excellent. It was a great night in Greensboro, NC. Severe thunderstorms were expected and yet surprisingly there wasn't a drop of rain. Josh sounded great all night and I don't think there was a bad seat in the whole amphitheater. It was my first time there and I think anywhere someone sat, they must have had a great seat and the sound quality would have been great. Was very happy to be there to see him again live!

This performance was out of this world. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. I have been waiting since a girl to see him live and felt like my dream had come true when it finally happened. I liked how we could bring in drinks to. I squealed with excitement many times throughout the show. Only thing that could be improved on is the exiting. It was very confusing and no one kne how to get out or which door was for what. But overall, the Josh Groban show was still unforgettable.

I had the pleasure of seeing Josh Groban's The Stages both nights in L.A. at the Dolby Theatre. It was SPECTACULAR! Flawless...perfection! I took my 17-year old daughter (who is in Drama at school and will be performing in a musical) absolutely loved every minute. Her favorite was Bring Him Home and All I Ask of You...mine too! The next night I brought my husband, who before, thought Josh was okay. BUT, after seeing him in person and at the Dolby Theatre, HE BECAME A HUGE FAN! Again, flawless...magical, voice of an Angel. We also LOVED Lena Hall! Wow, amazing! My husband is a fan of the Beatles, and so she won him over BIG time. Thank you Josh Groban for being the gorgeous, funny, center stage entertainment and props to your dad playing with you on stage! Love you!!! Blessings to you too!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Josh Groban Stages concert at the Dolby Theater. We came to LA from Utah because we knew Josh would be wonderful from past shows. He is so funny and his voice is unlike any one else's. Every show is amazing and he just gets better and better. The venue was beautiful.

This was a fabulous show. Josh did most of the songs from his Stages album and nailed them all. His female partner, Lena Hall, complemented his songs with her role as the other singer on All I Ask Of You, and did two knock-out solo numbers of her own. He didn't do our favorite song, You Raise Me Up (his signature song) but that was understandable because it was not on the Stages album. Overall, a great show and a fun evening, complete with some interesting and funny dialog in between songs.

Plain and simple, this concert was incredible. From start to finish, VIP to the Encore, both Josh Groban and the Peabody Opera House delivered! I purchased the VIP Experience for my mother and I, never having attended a Josh Groban concert before. We were delighted by the intimate VIP setting and the several giveaways that we received. Our seats were absolutely perfect, with the venue possessing a charm unlike any other concert we've attended. We could not have been happier with the entire evening!!!

I had attended another Josh Groban concert in St. Louis, back in 2006, or thereabouts, at the Scotstrade Center, and therefore we had to attend the one this past Monday. Upon reading about the concert, I decided to buy the Meet and Greet tickets, and I must say that it was the best spent money in a long time. We were treated like family, everyone was so nice and it was a classy evening, delicious catered meal, with real glassware, not plastic, nice gift packages, and meeting Josh was so special in that he's a delightful young man, who seemed sincerely pleased to meet his fans. The Peabody Opera House made it such a classical evening, the music was magical, and Josh even sounds better in person, such a unique thing. What a wonderful evening with daughter and best friend.

This was my first Josh Groban concert, though I have been a fan since 1999, and my first concert at Peabody Opera House. I have always said that it doesn't matter what Josh is singing, or in what language, because his music just makes my ears do a happy dance. The "Stages" concert was no exception. I love that he used local musicians and had the Webster University Chamber Choir perform a couple of songs with him. Lena Hall is on tour with him, and I had not heard her sing before. Her duets with Josh were great, and she did a couple of solos as well. The Peabody is an intimate theater, with around 3,500 seats. While the acoustics were good, there were a few occasions when the orchestra drowned out the words Josh was singing, which with his powerful voice is pretty hard to do. That was a little disappointing. A final thought - music may fill our lives, but Josh Groban's music fills our hearts.

Josh Groban appeared at the Peabody Opera House and sang songs from his latest cd "Stages", which includes various classic Broadway songs. Josh was in great voice and kept the audience entertained. He also talked about playing in St Louis in the early part of his career and was so glad to be back in the city. He also surprised the audience with a couple of duets with Lena Hall, who won a Tony last year for her work in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Lena also sang a couple of songs and her voice blew the audience away!

I have been a huge Josh Groban fan for over a decade and I knew I could not miss this unique concert. Josh and the orchestra, composed primarily of local musicians, were fantastic. In addition to his powerful, smooth voice, Josh is a hilarious human being! He knows how to engage the audience and make them feel comfortable. If you've never seen Josh Groban in concert, this would be a wonderful opportunity to do so, especially if you enjoy show tunes! I heard several people around me saying they hoped Josh would be singing some of his own music; this show is strictly theater tones, (with the exception of Lena Hall's songs). If you can't make it to a show on this tour, definitely see Josh live in the future! On a side note, the show lasts about two hours with a 15 minute intermission. Also, should you be interested, Josh (most of the time) will come out the backdoor of venues and sign autographs for his fans. My friend and I were unable to get autographs because we were too far back in the mob of people, but we did get to see Josh (and his dog Sweeny!) We had to wait about a hour, but it was worth it!

Really a fantastic show once again from a great artist. He had a local Detroit children's choir back him up on both the last songs of the first and second acts. These were my favorite, show stopping, heart-pounding, he-left-everything-he-had-on-stage numbers. I'm not huge into showtunes, but since his album was all Broadway music, I knew what to expect. Even not knowing most of the songs, he still put out a great show. He's funny, he was very complimentary to Detroit and the Fox, it was all around a fabulous show.

There are no mere words to explain how fantastic Josh's concert was! It was an experience that will always be engraved in my memory. Not only was I privileged to partake in the meet and greet and get to personally chat with Josh and have my picture taken with him, but then the performance of his music was nothing short of breathtaking! He is a natural born performer who has a wonderful sense of humor and aura of sincerity around him. After an experience like this I will anxiously be awaiting his next visit to Buffalo!

As usual, Josh Groban scores! There is nothing better than listening to him sing. He opened with just him and a piano player but then the curtain parted and he had a full orchestra behind him. He could have done just as well all night with just his voice and the piano. He is that good, that soothing, that melodious!! He has a wonderful voice and I'm glad he is finally coming to terms with that and stop playing around with different music styles. Great show of Broadway tunes. If he comes to your city, go. You won't be disappointed.

The Hollywood Bowl is a great place to celebrate Independence Day. You get to bring a picnic dinner with you and enjoy an evening of great music under the stars. After all the hot days where I live, it was nice to be outside on a cooler evening. The first half of the show featured the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Sarah Hicks. They performed selections from John Williams (Olympics theme), movies (Battle march from a John Wayne movie that includes a whistling solo), as well as the traditional salute to the troops (where current and past members are encouraged to stand up and be recognized). For the second half of the show, the Orchestra was joined by Josh Groban. He was dressed in a black suit, white T-shirt and white sneakers. This was his third night there during this engagement, and he was saying how much of an honor it was. He remembers going with his family to the Bowl on the 4th, and how he would often sleep through the singers just to see the fireworks. His entrance song was his current single Brave off his recent CD All That Echoes. He sang a lot of songs from the new CD as well as selected highlights from his song catalog. February Song had Josh playing the piano. The band s violinist got a solo number for an instrumental version of Aerosmith s Dream On. Then the drummer and percussionist started their solos, and the spotlight traveled to show Josh also playing drums. Who knew he could play drums too? The song that he performed on the drums was Vocé Existe Em Mim from his Illuminations CD. He brought out famed trumpeter Arturo Sandoval for 2 numbers. No other special guests for the evening, despite fans hoping for appearances by David Foster and Celine Dion (it was not to be). Josh is very serious when he sings. But in reality he is actually a very funny guy. He commented on how he identified with being one of the riff-raff that was sitting in the back. And how he said he was covered in stars and stripes under his clothes, and then someone yelled then take them off . He said he would be cold if he did. Josh s portion of the show ended with his own You Raise Me Up, and 2 covers \u2014 Steve Wonder s I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever) and Charlie Chaplin s Smile. He was joined on the first 2 by a choir on both sides of the stage. Then it was on to the fireworks, and the orchestra playing the patriotic background music. Thanks to Josh, his band and the orchestra for a fantastic evening at the legendary Bowl.

His best vocals in the 5 shows I have seen him play in Colorado! The entire performance was take to another level with the CSO! Funny, witty, engaging with the audience! Highlights were Febrary Song, I Believe, who and I kidding the entire night was one highlight after another! You Raise me up sent chills through the audience as the rain came down. The most touching moment was one of the choir girls putting her hands to her face and tears rolling down her face. I can only imagine what she was hearing and seeing from the stage! It was a blessed night with my mom and sister seeing our favorite singer, Josh Groban!

Great Venue. First, 25 min of CO Orchestra was nice but then a 40 min break after the open. By the time Josh took the stage people were asking what was the delay? I was bored and disappointed by not only song selection but the order in which performed. It seemed that songs were selected based on Josh being bored singing his hits. It was the last show on his tour from what I understand and Josh appeared burned out. Josh only performed close to 90 min. People around me where stating you just got on stage what do u mean u are warping up? I was located in the first 13 rows so I could see the performance or lack of clearly. I have seen Josh on several occasions and I am a fan. I was disappointed to say the least...

Great show! Only complaint was all the spanish songs. Even for one day, especially on our Independence Day, can we celebrate with patriotic songs in ENGLISH? There are 364 other days to celebrate different cultures, diversity, blah, blah, blah. Can we celebrate the UNITED States of America in English for just ONE day, pleeeaze? I don't think I'm asking for too much.

Sarah Evans and the L.A. Philharmonic were excellent, although two or three more selections in the first part of the show would have been welcomed. Josh Groban was fun, energetic and in amazing voice...loved his drumming as well as his singing. The fireworks were okay. Not terrible but nothing special. Now, the not so wonderful part...this was my first time at the Bowl and it might very well be my one and only visit. Yes, it was a sold-out performance, of course, but I met a friend there and she has been to several sold-out shows. She said she'd never seen the congestion of people leaving at the end be so bad. We left our seats and made our way down to the shuttle buses as quickly as the crowd would allow and I still caught one of the last Ventura shuttles with only a few minutes to spare. The parking area is not well lit and if a man walking in front of me hadn't warned me about a curb, I would have fallen over it in the dark. There were still people coming out of the Bowl as we pulled away, and I have to hope that they weren't depending on the shuttles to get back to the remote parking lots. I got a seat but there were at least a dozen people who came on in those last few minutes who had to stand for the ride back.
