I am from Portugal, and it was really worth to go to Skillet concert. They are amazing... And it is good to have Christian concerts of this kind :)

This concert was fantastic and I got a great seat for ordering at the last minute. Bone Hampton was hilarious!

Been to this event for past 15 years. The park has gotten so much nicer. No small kids for me but the new snoopy land is great. As for the concert, Always Top Notch. KJ52 once again the great MC and Showman. The Story from 10th Ave North was inspirational. All headliners killed it. Tobymac's show is always supreme. Skillet's new show was the best in all the land and Chris Tomlin closed with wonderful worship time. Can't wait until next year.

The concert was amazing and it was a great value for the price! We hope to go next year!

Great show, inexpensive for season pass holders and a great array of diverse bands. Keep bringing back Family Force 5!

The Kingsfest was awesome..it rained throughout the whole concert but it is what u make it 2 b!..Loved every second and would attend it again n a heart beat..,,U could feel God's love all around u!..Can't wait 4 next years kingsfest..u can count me n!!..:O)

We went to this concert specifically to see Group 1 Crew and Family Force 5. My only complaint is that the "schedule of events" was printed with incorrect times, we completely missed Group 1 Crew! That was pretty annoying! Family Force 5 was awesome, so that was the highlight of our evening. It was a nice touch that the security people handed out ear plugs to the kids!

This is one of the best concerts I have ever been to!! Three days of the best christian bands and speakers! Amazing!!!!!

Only went Friday and Saturday. The bands were amazing. The rain was fun. The ride amazing. I went a year ago and only went one day, this year went two days, maybe next all three days. It is totally worth it! The way God speaks at the event was heart and spirit touching.

Ive been to many concerts. Sound was too loud and thus quality was not as good as it should have been.section 100 would have been nice because jon foreman went in that section

it was awsome, front seats, even though last year skillet played better and switchfoot has played better, front seats beats that lol

What was with all of the bass!!!! I honestly think you need a new sound guy. There was so much bass at times it made my daughter and me feel ill. I think we have a serious issue where it is now perceived that everyone is only concerned with bass and not much else. The vocals were hard to hear during many of the bands because of lack of volume or again, too much bass. Luckily my daughter and I had earplugs. I feel really sorry for the folks that had to work the gate for the concert because the bass in that area actually hurt our ears as we left the area, so it had to be getting to them! Let's face it - it was ridiculous! It's very unfortunate, but my daughter and I will not be returning next year because of this. This was one of things we looked forward to each year as a dad and daughter bonding time but I guess we'll have to find something else now. Please take this under advisement!

Thursday's concert was great. The David Crowder Band and Skillet did an awesome job. Friday afternoon the rains came pouring down, but The Newsboys and Chris Tomlin did great. Chris Tomlin was the best performer in my eyes. The worship was amazing!

The concert participants (mainly 10th Ave North, The Newsboys, and Chris Tomlin) all brought their A game. They were keeping everyone on their feet. Even though there was a rain delay during the 10th Ave North performance, they came back and gave a stellar performance. We were soaked, but couldn't even tell. I highly recommend this event to everyone. If you are not a Christian Rock music fan before you arrive, you will be before you leave.

Kings Fest was the highlight of my summer. The artists were fantastic, the event lasted for THREE DAYS, and we had the most amazing thrill rides and coasters on the planet to ride when we weren't listening to music! You haven't lived until you've attended a Kings Fest event at Kings Dominion.

Newsboys concert - amazing as usual -- even in the rain!! Group 1 Crew - absolutely incredible - go see them WHENever you can!! Also good: Manic Drive, Anthem Lights, Tenth Avenue North, Brandon Heath and RED

Great concerts...Friday it rained throughout all concerts and the park would not allow umbrellas. Needless to say we got drenched. Also, Maniac was a no show and they moved up Brandon Heath so we missed his performance. Kings Dominion could have made some annoucement over the park intercom to warn of the time change. The Park was no very caring when it came to the visitors attending the concerts.

No one told us we couldn't bring our video camera and chairs in for grass seats which was pretty important to me being handicap. The rain was horrible and they should have rescheduled! They had us wait as the flooding rains poured down. I think even an offer would have been nice. It was never made clear exactly what time the concert would start so, I think that would have really made a difference and what would be offered things considered important like food! Communication could have been better and they shouldn't have made us sit through the down pours but, the music was great as we knew.

While the bands and 3 evening speakers delivered powerful songs and messages, I have been very disappointed with the emcee, Bone Hampton, two years in a row. There's a saying that "there's a little bit of truth in every bit of humor" and both years I've been saddened by his arrogance and sense of humor. I had to explain to my daughter last year about "pimpin" as he made a reference to Christian pimpin whatever he meant by that. This year he made fun of Justin Bieber as did Michael Tate from Newsboys. Why do those in the lime light feel the need to trash other performers. The youngs kids I'm sure did not see, nor hear a Christ like example of the way to speak of nor treat others. Last year Bone came out into the audience and then started fussing at those who were touching him. Don't go out into the arena with a mic if you don't want the kids to flock around you, and yes, touch you. This year he poked fun of a young boy who made him a sign on a pink piece of paper. Poor kid was showing his admiration for Bone, yet was the brunt of the boys don't wear pink joke (and likewise, boys don't use pink paper to write notes to Bone). If he is the scheduled emcee next year, it will be the first year in 8 years that we as a family will forgo Kings Fest. LaCrae said it beautifully, we as performers are not to be idolized, but be the lights shining on the building. That building is God. Bone seems to need adoration so much he's willing to say inappropriate things to make people laugh, and I've never felt like he was a light shining on the "building of God," but merely trying to be the building. Bring back the Australian guy, please....................

Newsboys were the best! Would have stayed at the end but due to the downpour, we left befoe Chris Tomlin played.

Best Kings Fest ever! Even with the rain that started right after Red played on Thursday night. Can't beat this deal. Awesome Christian bands and rides!! Can't wait until next year!

If you have never been you should attend, and Bone makes it great.

Despite the rain, the bands still rocked!!! Tenth Avenue North put on a fantastic show of praise in the rain!

It rained so we left. We didnt see but 20 mins of it. Wasted our money but we didn't know it would rain all evening.

Excellent Event! My kids and I loved it. We loved the presentation of Skillet, News Boys, Chris Tomlin and the Speakers invited. We enjoyed it and it was scheduled at a perfect time after we were done with all the rides it was a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Please keep doing this event!

My son started asking me to take him to Kings Fest last February as soon as he found out Skillet would be playing. After talking it over with my wife, I bought two tickets - one for him and one for me. He knew I was not a huge Skillet fan but I was there for him, not the other way around and I wanted this to be a night he would never, ever forget. The show leading up to Skillet performing was great. One of the big surprises for us was seeing This The Rescue. I admit, I was very disappointed that they only did a brief 3-song set before they left the stage but we had a chance to speak with the band afterward and they were just as awesome off stage as they were on it. We enjoyed the special speaker quite a bit and the MC kept us laughing. Finally, Skillet hit the stage and my son had a blast. And, I will admit, I have spent some time listening to their stuff since the event and I am getting a better appreciation for them. Their performance on stage was nothing short of phenomenal - good pyrotechnics without being overdone, good variety, and amazing guitar and drum solos. Sadly, it ended, as all concerts must. As we walked to the car, my son looked me in the eye and said, "Thanks for taking me, dad... This has been one of the very best days of my life." Time and money very well spent.

Kingsfest was great overall. I was a little disappointed in the band Red because of the autograph line. The line got moved 3 times and I waited over an hour and never got an autograph. I had to leave so not sure if they ever came out. If a band doesn't want to sign autographs thats fine but please make a decision and stick to it.

What an amazing day! I really enjoyed Lecrae, Hawk Nelson, and the David Crowder Band. Skillet was AMAZING! What a great event! I can't wait for next year!

I loved the event! Although I did like all the artists I was there to see Lecrae. He was only onstage 20 minutes which sucked. Also would've been nice if there was some type of canopy over us as the sun beamed on us intensely. Also our tickets said the hats open at 2pm and we stood at the gate until 3:15. I did not like that at all.

We as human was awesome a new favorite. Tenth avenue north a pleasant surprise I wasn't sure how they would be live. Skillet's new stuff was amazing. I enjoyed the new stage background with video. The best thing about Kingsfest is the message given by all the performers. No one in the audience was rude, no one was fighting, and I feel the power of God working through these bands.

This was an Awsom night, the bands were great and the rain came down but God was thereand it was Awsom! Chris Tomlin is amazing even in the rain!

Skillet theres no words to really compare them too. On Friday RED was hot started when rain just stopped thru their play time...tenth ave north came out with The rain coming down was so fitting with the songs that where sung! Had a great time. Darlene god bless all!

Great concert. Great price. Great theme park. Would for sure to again and recommend to others!

It was a family trip, EVERYONE loved it even though it rained on us for most of the concert, The bands were AWESOME!!! Can`t wait to go next year :) :)

All of the bands we were able to experience were wonderful and gave great performances. My rating is only 3 stars because of the weather which none of us can control and the lack of alternate venues available at this event. There was no alternative for the concerts to continue because not only was there torrential rain but lightening as well and therefore we were evacuated 3 times. Twice to pavilions and once to just cut the concert short and be asked to leave. There is no compensation for us not being able to have the headliner the 1st night or 1 other performer that night as well. It is a shame that we weren't able to enjoy what we paid for. The money isn't even the big deal, it's the performance that was missed. Maybe someone will build a shelter at the venue with sound equipment available or maybe there is a way that missed performances can be worked into the next day.

The weather was not great, and unfortunately there were not many people who showed up the day I went, Saturday. I got there to see Plumb and Mandisa, and neither disappointed. They were both AMAZING. Even though it drizzled for a few minutes, the good Lord allowed the rain to hold off, for the most part. I was disappointed that more people did not show up to support the artists, but with the weather it was understandable. Too bad there couldn't be better "entertainment" in-between the acts.

It was my first time seeing Skillet and they put on an amazing show!! The rain kind of put a damper on things but they still played fantastic!!! Loved it!!!

Plumb is truly blessed to have that voice and Mandisa is a great performer but SKILLET put on a spectacular show in the middle of off and on downpours of rain. Had a wonderful time worshiping the Lord through song and praises.

The park was in tip-top shape. We only stayed for Skillet's performance, but between their performance and access to the park all day, it was well worth the ticket.

Plumb was okay. Mandisa was the best that night in my opinion. A lot of others liked Skillet, but people have different tastes. I think the 2nd night was the best with Love & The Outcome, Building 429, King & Country, and Matthew West. It would be hard to top the 2nd night.

The concert was great other than we didn't hear much considering it rained, thundered, and had lighting so we had to take cover. They didn't get to finish the concert. It would be nice if it was covered so you could always finish the concert.

Uplifting wonderful event this was our second year attending Kingsfest my family and I love it!

6/25 was interesting! Colton Dixon and Tenth Avenue North (1/2 set) played main stage. During TAN there were lightning delays that sent everyone back and forth to the pavilions a few times. Bone Hampton came out to the pavilion and the party continued. In an acoustic performance TAN finished their set, Lecrae came out for a little bit, Jeremy Camp did his set (and my favorite song). I don't know if Lecrae came out again after JC, I had to go home. Didn't go 6/26. I would have liked to seen Building 429 but was too tired for the 2 1/2 hour ride. I heard it was a nice day and a good show. 6/27 was GREAT although I only saw Mandisa and SKILLET!!! A little drizzle turned into a real rain for about ten minutes about 1/2 way through Skillet but no one cared, we were too busy ROCKIN'! How about have this in the Fall for us cool weather fans, if not the sweat was worth it.

My husband and I drove almost 3 hours to go to the Kingsfest 2015, we saw Building 429, For King and Country and Mathew West and they were amazing!! we were praying, singing, crying, laughing, just enjoying to be around of people praising our Lord our God!!

All four bands were unbelievable. My daughter and I had a great time. We will already setting up a date for next year.

AWESOME! Storm had us miss out on Jeremy Camp and Lecrae, BUT Jeremy Camp came out to the pavillion and did an accoustic performance and Mike Doheney from 10th Avenue North did as well. Everyone was really fantastic! Coming back next year!

The weather was uncooperative but it was an amazing concert!

Music that we did get to hear was ok between 2 evacuations due to the storms and then cancelation of final band performance. Tickets are overpriced for what it is about.

This was my first time going to kings fest and I really enjoyed most of it. Thursday was a bummer due to weather, grateful to have seen Colton Dixon and parts of Tenth Avenue North. Poor Tenth had their set cut twice because of lightening. Of course they were the band I was most looking forward to seeing! Yet grateful again to have at least seen part of them. Friday was amazing- Building 429, For King and Country, and Matthew West were all excellent! I didn't know Building 429 previously so now I have a new band. for king and Country and Matthew West blew me away with their performances. I would definitely go back again and pray the weather works out better! Oh and Bone is hilarious!

We mainly got tickets to Kingsfest, Kings Dominion, VA to see Colton Dixon. We have been following him since he was on American Idol. He is still our favorite "idol"! We love his inspirational music, his voice, his sweet, caring personality and of course...his HAIR! Anyone who has the opportunity to see him at a show...GO!! He has lots of energy and rocks out on stage. Thanks for a great performance and sharing your music with us, Colton!

Top notch concert experience at an unbelievable price.

There was an excellent and fairly diverse slate of Christian performers, though a couple could not perform due to thunderstorms. The each day of the 3 day schedule ran on schedule very well in spite of rain delays the first night. County noise ordinances past a certain hour limit the closing time fairly strictly. The big screens and video photography was excellent during the shows, the sound was excellent, and the general there was minimal advertising during the shows (as opposed to Winterfest which must have run over 50 ads for Liberty university during that 2 day concert). The crowd was very engaged, and the venue is excellent, again for an outdoor concert. It would be nice if the crowd could be released directly into the parking lot at the end of the concert (as it used to be in years past) so you would not have to walk about 1/2 mile to get to the exit of the park, especially if raining. (The amphitheater is right next to the parking lot).

The concerts were great, we had a wonderful time even with the heat.

All of the bands we seen on day three were good. Chris Tomlin is always exceptional though.

Kingsfest was the first of any kind of event like that I have been to and I would love to go again! I loved the artists and seeing them live, their personalities. Ticketing and all of that was easy. Toby Mac, Skillet, Chris Tomlin really delivered amazing performances and heart touching moments, as well as Tenth Avenue North, Sanctus Real, Building 429, Newsong...it was all a perfect event. Thankful to be able to share worship and excitement of God with so many from different places.

It was pretty hot, but a lot of fun! A great variety of bands and music. I really appreciated the availability of ice and water at the pavilion. Thanks for the great birthday gift for my daughter! We'll be back!

Great artists and music but there needs to be a set list so we are informed of who will be playing when so we are not sitting around for hours and can explore the park on down time.

There was not a bad band there. It was a great show. Just wish we could have stayed for the last day. Keep it coming back.

Chris Tomlin is awesome!! So he gets 5 stars!! In fact, so does Building 429 & Kutless. When we got there - there was nothing but SUN shining right on ours and everyone else's seat - so we declined sitting in them. The artist were about to croak too. I felt like Kings Dominion should do something - like have a mist place like in the park - or SOMETHING to help. Even when Christ Tomlin came out , my sister had a hard time breathing because it was still hot and humid & crowded at 8pm. I realize you can't cover the whole place -- but you should be able to do something to help. Even the artist on stage during the sun, weren't even accommodated - they were so hot too. Also, if I had not had great seats in the middle section of the front - there is no way I would have seen him. No screens showing him or anything. I just think Kings Dominion could do a better job making it a more pleasant experience. You have the talent there - everyone should be happy.

Had an excellent time. Will go again next year. Park was awesome too!

Prior to music we enjoyed coasters and water park. The diverse music kept my teens engaged. This year's headliners were TobyMac (Thursday), Skillet (Friday), and Chris Tomlin (Saturday). There is something for everyone at KingsFest. I'm looking forward to going again!

There is nothing quite like worshiping with a huge group of believers and some incredibly amazing bands! Though it was incredibly hot, every single artist brought their all and I will go again next year and bring everyone I can with me!!! :D

Kingsfest 2013 was fabulous as they had one of their best lineups in years. It was a memorable 3 days of Christ honoring rock and roll. I love this event

My teenagers attended this. They said it was great! The Friday night speaker was REALLY good they said. Also, they wouldn't have missed Skillet for anything!!!!!

Skillet gave an amazing concert yet again! Armed with their new album, Rise, they brought the house down!

The lineup was great, only downside was TFK was out due to sickness but Skillet made up for it big time.

Great venue.......great music!!! An event is only as good as the musicians there and Kingsfest didn't disappoint. They even had a place to fill up with free ice water, which was huge because it was hot outside.

All of the artists were awesome! Red, TobyMac and Skillet rocked!!!! It is always an excellent three day event coupled with the park admission. We really enjoy staying at the Kings Dominion Camp Ground. The staff was excellent! A good time had by all. I hope we get to do it again next year!

We really enjoyed our day at the park and listening to all the bands. Even though TFK had to bow out the rest of the bands put on a great show that was well worth it.

Funky Jesus music! Awesome concert! Came to see tobyMac and Diverse City, exclusively. Loved that we were able to pick up tickets, arriving when we wanted...which was prior to Toby taking the stage.

This event was spiritually uplifting! The variety music, artists and speakers were upbeat, family appropriate and motivational. Toby Mac stole the show!

Great variety of musicians. A little something for everyone. My kids loved Icon for Hire, Lecrae, Manafest, Owl City and their favorites Thousand Foot Krutch & Skillet.

We had the best time! Our family went and enjoyed the park, but the music (all Christian) and all types of genre, from hip hop, rap, heavy metal, rock & roll, etc. was amazing. It was hot as anything but God was in the house!!! Amen and Amen!!!

Awesome three days of christian music. With Casting Crowns, Skillet, and Toby Mac headlineing and groups like Red and Thousand Foot Crutch, what a weekend.

the KingsFest venue was not a perfect showcase (a. they weren't the headliner, 2. thus, weren't able to perform as I would have liked.) but Bear in Black on his guitar was a thing of beauty.

We were all three days. We were not very familiar with Needtobreathe, really liked Justin Lookadoo, and thoroughly enjoyed the worship with Casting Crowns. Friday, Kutless was great as usual, Bob Lenz was very inspirational and Skillet was awesome! Great concert. Saturday we enjoyed time in the water park and got to see some of Owl City before we had to evacuate the ampitheatre. Was VERY happy when the gates were reopened, so that we could see Tobymac. Thank you!! Overall, we enjoyed all three days, and want to come back again next year. Sorry that we did not get to see Jamie Grace perform, but we did get to see her at her table. Sorry that Newsboys or David Crowder were not able to be there.

The venue was fantastic! We had a blast at Kings Dominion, and it provided something to do when we weren't particularly interested in the bands playing. The lineup was great and the performances were quite good too. I'd definitely go again if presented with the option.

I loved the free water since it was so hot that day. The bands were really hot too, but never complained.
