I didn't think it was possible for them to sound hotter live than recorded, I was enthralled and could not get enough, I'm remember it for a long time.

After being a fan for a few years now, and hearing about their amazing live show, there was a lot to live up to and the Dirtbombs did that and more so! From the moment the first drummer walked on stage until the end of the show where he was set up with full kit in the audience I never stopped smiling. Two basses, two drummers and some amazing guitar and vocals in the center! The songs kept rolling through like a super-tight soul review on amphetamines. Pure punk-garage-soul at it's finest. Hard to top this show! Absolutely one of the best live bands I have seen in ages. I will see them every time they come through now and recommend anyone else catch them in a small room like the Rickshaw Stop. Oh yeah, great club with a friendly staff ad good cheap drinks.

Detroit's Dirtbomb delivered an excellent show at the Rickshaw Stop Saturday night. The song selection was excellent. They missed a couple of my favorites that were part of their set list last year, but that's only a minor criticism. The audio on the vocals was a little weak at first, but improved after a couple of songs. Lot's of energy and good playing. The venue is fine, not too big with good acoustics. The staff were nice, too.
