Star Spangled Spectacular

It was a great place and time to hang out with friends. I wish there were more food trucks as the lines were overwhelming. The biggest disappointment was the the laser show. We did not sit too close to it and it was very underwhelming.

Event was well hyped up in the area. $40 for a family of 4 seemed reasonable. Arrived at event and no idea what the $40 paid for. Kids water slides were $1 a ride or $12 for unlimited. Food/drinks and everything else cost money. The biggest disappointment was the laser show that was labeled the "biggest in TN". Worst thing I ve seen, and the kids asked to leave. I would say half the people left the laser show. Parking was atrocious as well. Shuttle busses were supposedly running however never saw them. Actually, saw one drive by us as we had to walk roughly a mile with all the chairs and blankets we were informed to bring with us. Why hold an event and have the paying customers park the farthest away when other lots and parking were available closer? The park is a wonderful place to go to any other time and it costs nothing. The money paid got me nothing extra than a normal day at the park. All it did was waste my money and ruin the day. My family and I will not return to this event in the future and I will inform others not to go as well. I could write more, however have other thins to do.

Music was wonderful...Laser light show missed the mark. People left early.
