Only issue was I wanted a private table with my wife. Other than that we had a great time and the food was good. Metal detector (awesome) we felt safe.

We loved seeing Roy Wood Jr. at the Wilbur. My husband was practically in tears from laughing. And to top it off, unlike most performers, he was happy to pose for pictures after the show. Great funny guy!

Roy Wood Jr. provided a much needed break from the daily onslaught of breaking news and absurdities. While not completely shying away from current events, his approach is more observational vs. overtly political. I got the sense he is equally fascinated and frustrated with us humans, with our society, something all great comics seem to share. Above all, Roy is very funny. He riffs on a wide variety of subjects, the illusive McRib included. We loved him, highly recommend seeing him, will definitely go again.

Great show, including the opening acts. Poetry on the comedy circuit - brilliant! Roy Wood kept us going and I look forward to seeing him again.

Well paced, thoughtful, so smart and funny. Politically has what I consider to be the correct point of view and used it well, in his comedy. I will definitely see him again when he comes to town. Not to be missed.

Opening two comedians were great and when he hit the stage I was laughing from gate. There were times he tackled some serious topics but humor came through! There were some in the audience that left, their loss! Well worth the ticket price. Only complaint is my boyfriend is tall and the Wilbur seats were VERY uncomfortable for him

Roy Wood, Jr. gave an awesome performance on Sunday night. He's funny, smart and personable. I'm glad I got to see him in a venue the size of Punch Line because I don't think he's long for this sized venue. I think he'll be moving up. And for the record, the Punch Line serves a delicious cheesebuger!

Great show. I'd never seen Roy Wood Jr before but heard him on my favorite podcast, 2dopequeens. His second opener, Kevin Barnett, was so funny that it must've been a little hard to follow him. But Roy was hilarious -- really sharp humor in which he quietly made good, compassionate points about living in our world without ever getting too dark or losing the laughter.

Sat in back row of St Cecelia. Sound very distorted. Missed most of Sapp, parts of Feinstein and parts of Wood when they were speaking fast, low, ghetto or black dialect. Kaplan came through loud and clear. His pauses were perfectly timed. Voice tones in higher register were heard. If people noticed, the back 3rd of audience did not laugh as much as the front part during Sapp and Wood's presentation. Too bad we missed so much, but all were funny from what we heard. When Sapp performed, we felt the sound was way too loud and therefore, became distorted, missing most of his jokes.
