What a great time we had at Rock of Ages! From start to finish, the show was non-stop fun and energy. The 80's music was woven into the plot perfectly, and the very talented cast couldn't have been better! If you're a fan of 80's rock and are looking for a feel-good musical, try to catch Rock of Ages...you won't be disappointed!!!

We had 4th row center seats and had an amazing time!! The group went and saw it in NY also earlier in the year....it was equally as fun in AC! Would go see it again! Loved loved loved the Band!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much fun!!

Rock of Ages rocked the night away and sent us reminiscing thru the 80's with the "big hair bands"!! Was a cute story with fantastic dancing and singing to Journey, survivor, etc. A lot of tongue and cheek humor of the 80''s. Very talented cast of the show. Would recommend it to all. Circus Maximus does not have a bad seat in the house. Enjoy!

I think the acting was good. Its a small stage and I think the production team did a great job with the space. The music was well sung and sounded good. the comedy was funny and well delivered.

As I was watching the show I kept thinking It was a spoof on the movie Rock of Ages but in reality the musical came before the movie. I enjoyed the move much more than the live performance.

The show was entertaining and funny. The dancing was OK and the singing was pretty good. The venue (The Grove) was small but nice and there was not a bad seat in the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. i do feel that the tickets were not worth the $60 each I paid. I think they should have been at least $20 less per ticket,

The musicians were fantastic. The female lead had a very limited range. Not lead material. The male leads were good & so were the back up singers. Being that it is a traveling show, it was fair. You don't get the same caliber production as a stationary Broadway show. I went to hear the music & they was done well. For the purpose of why I wanted to see the show, it was successful. Very Risque. Wouldn't take my parents or grand parents & we are not Prudes! It didn't bother me, but could easily offend many.

This show is "nothin' but a good time!" It's a rockin' good time for all ages. The music is great, the lead singers, Dom Scott and Shannon Mullen are amazing. Each character will make you smile/laugh at some point. Don't miss this experience! Get your ticket, get on your feet, make some noise......"'cause it don't get better than this!" Then meet Dom Scott after the performance. He's an amazing performer/singer/songwriter.

First time to this venue-nice place not too big not too tight-just right. (Grove of Anaheim) Rock of Ages was just what I expected and more ! it was funny and great tunes-could have done without so many scantily clad dancing girls but-whatever. We saw the movie a few years ago and loved it so had an idea of the story..missed the part Katherine Zeta played in the movie but you can only fit so much into a play. Overall it was a good time and would recommend to anyone. Had dinner at the Catch first and what a great setup to have everything together down there in the OC. They provided parking and with the Angels game going on inext door it was a bonus!

The songs were great, the choreography was good and the male singers had very strong voices. My group of four were all disappointed in the female singers. We felt that their singing was weak, especially compared to the men. The lead female singer seemed to be struggling - maybe she was having an off night when we went.

Music and acting was amazing. Funnier than I thought and teh music was top notch, you couldn't help but sing and clap. Some part inappropriate for my 12 yr. old but wasn't too bad.

Show started late by about 15 minutes. The theater didn't open at 2 as promised. The theater opened at about 3, and we had to stand in the cold rain for over 45 minutes. The show itself was very average, nothing spectacular at all. The performance didn't match the publicity!

Show was fantastic. We noticed a couple of things not lit up and supposed to be on the set and a few technical problems, but that's just us. Would have rated it 4.5 but since no in between went with 4. I would definitely go again and highly recommend people go if they get a chance. Really awesome show. A good time!!

Rock of Ages is one of my favorite stage shows and the touring company did a fantastic job with it. The set, costuming, and choreography were a close match to the Broadway production. I first saw RoA on Broadway in November 2011 with Constantine Maroulis as Drew, and I don't think anything will ever quite match that, but the event at Sands was a very close second! But that is why I can only give it 4/5 stars.

Rock of Ages is well worth seeing. Starts off great, gets a little slow in the middle and finishes strong and full off energy. It's a great show and worth seeing again just not at the Sands event center. We were on the floor for seating. By the end of the show I had a sore neck from trying to look around the people in front of me.

The voices were amazing. The tongue in cheek humor, especially with the narrator, was wonderful. All very skilled actors. The band played just like the originals! The story line, albeit a bit corny, was really fun and not taken too seriously. The crowds' standing ovation served as testimony to a truly unforgettable performance.

I was surprised with the show, I had seen it on Broadway and really didn t expect the level of the show I saw. The talent and presence was just a good and the size of the venue made it even better. The 80 s music blended into a storyline works well, did they select the music and create the storyline or the other way around, either way it works, and especially if you like these 80 s type hair band ballads. Great show! Despite our seating we did enjoy the show and to the venue's credit we were allowed to move to some vacant seats. Please avoid the sections to the far left and right of the stage as these seats will limit your ability to view the entire stage. We were in section X and could only see about one third of the stage.

Me and a friend of mine had previously went to see the movie in the theater. We had no idea that this was going to be a musical. I have never been to a musical before and had never planned on seeing on. Needless to say, the movie was great. So when found out that there was going to be an actual real life musical for the movie, I was quick to get tickets. The event was so amazing! I smiled all the way through it like a silly little kid. It doesn't really follow the movie and that made it even better, because you are actually seeing it for the first time. The set was a bit small but proved to be enough. A must see!

The music, signing and dancing were awesome plus the show was filled with hilarity. The set was well done. Even this being the 5th show and different city in 5 days, the performers knocked it out of the park. The show brought back a lot of memories when I had a lot more hair and a few less pounds!

This play was fantastic. It had a mixture of sad and happy scenes, but all approached with some ironic humor. If you lived through the '80s, the songs brought you back. It was too bad the production was only in town one day. The actors did well to get the audience involved.

This show was so much fun! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves music and it's history! The actors were so well put together, they were able to deal with some audience members who may have taken their advice, and gotten a little too tipsy during the intermission. They worked it right into the show! Amazing show, amazing writing.... An adrenaline rush for any eighties hairband junkie! (Or for those who like to chuckle at the good old days.) Would be going back again if the show wasn't closing!

The show was fabulous. I took my boyfriend to see the show in AC when I saw it was playing there. I knew he would love it, because I had seen it in New York back in 2009. I was right, he couldn't stop talking about how great it was and thanking me for bringing him to AC! It was a great performance and I had better seats this time!!! Loved every minute of it!!! All of the performers are so talented and the material is just so great bringing me back in time to my high school years!!!

What a great performance! The live band was incredible. The singing and acting was fantastic. I must say, it is way too provocative for children, but is an absolute must especially for those who loved 80's rock and roll! I highly recommend it.

My husband and I watched this in Atlantic city with Dominique Scott as "Drew" and Shannon Mullen as "Sherrie." It was such a great show!!! This is a must see for anyone who enjoys music, romance and comedy. The whole cast just brought their A-game and blasted it all out. Great, great show!
