Posies are not capable of a bad show and there were highlights as usual. However, sound at the Neptune was sludgy and for the most part indecipherable probably due to the concrete nature of the place. Reminded me of rock concerts held long ago at armories. Ugh. Anyway, always great to go to a Posies show but hopefully somewhere else next time.

After missing the Sacramento show, my best friend and I drove up to Seattle for this, the final show of the tour, in the band's hometown. I've been to more than 400 concerts in my life, and this was hands down one of the best. Great venue, great crowd, great setlist, and inspired, passionate performance by the band. My only regret is that this may be the last time we ever see them live. I hope not!

The Posies put on a great show at the Neptune Theatre on July 7, 2018! They were energetic on stage and their vocals sounded amazing. One caveat, I was puzzled by the choice of the opening act. Briana Marela's electronica was not my cup of tea and seemed like an odd pairing with the Posies' gleeful power pop.

After 30 years together, this band can still entertain. What a great catalog they ve put together over the years! Opener was not my favorite, however.

I have been a Posies fan since I first saw the band perform in Redmond, WA in the early 90 s. They truly delivered a great performance! If Canada ever invades, I want them defending the boarder.

Yep, it was the Posies. Fun stuff. Can't beat the harmonies. They're still bringing it. With two guitars washing away it would have been nice to hear a bass in the mix.

I was solely attending to see Brendan Benson, and thought he was great. I thought that the Posies' accompanying him was good, but the guitar was ultra-heavy compared to what i have seen in the past at BB shows, and for what his albums sound like, which I found overwhelmed and overshadowed BB. Great set-list of old school picks with just a few from newest album. Played all of my favorite songs. Love BB!

Started out with Aquaduct. They were an awesome opening act and fit the bill well. Brendan came out and lit up the stage with John and Ken from The Posies backing him. He played songs from multiple albums and there was not a dull moment. The Posies went on and played just about every song you could want them to play. It was incredible. The sound at the Showbox was great and the staff seemed to be in better spirits than in previous shows I have seen there (or played there for that matter). All together a great experience!

The Posies are an amazing band to see live! They play with such energy and passion that is contagious in the audience. I was not familiar with Brendan Benson but he was a stellar performer as well, and I actually downloaded some of his stuff afterward. Excellent show. Great music. I was very happy with the overall experience.

Finally - the Posies came to town - and were just wonderful! The new album is one of their best ever but we got a generous show with some past gems. Opener Brendan Benson was probably the best show by an artist we had never seen EVER - backed by the Posies he was amazing! And the Posies were just so sublime!!! - still smiling all after all these days. My favorite show of the year!!!

The first two bands were better than the Posies. I went because a friend of a friend is in the Posies and wanted to show support. Unfortunately, their songs are pretty mediocre and derivative. Plus, the lead singer had a problem spitting all over the place throughout the show. We got tired of that behavior and left early. Gross.

The Posies rocked harder than bands a third of their age. Brendan Benson was awesome as always. Seeing the two together? Terrific.

Out of the hundreds of concerts I've seen in the last 27 years, I have to say, seeing The Posies at Club Nokia in L.A. was the most fun concert EVER!! They played a two hour set with a lot of songs from their great new album "Blood/Candy". Their in between song banter with each other and the audience was funny as hell. And Ken Stringfellows almost maniacal energy on stage was insane. They even played their encore "Dream All Day" in the audience thanks to the Jameson on the rocks! Got a chance to meet and chat with Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow after the show and got a signature guitar pick from Jon Auer! Another dream come true to check off my bucketlist!!

I had never been to the Trocadero in Philly before. What a great venue to see some really great music! I was thrilled to be able to stand so close to the stage, but sorry that it seemed the show had not been very well promoted. There were very few people there to listen. All 3 bands were fun to listen to. The few people who did go out to watch seemed to be into the music and a lot of them were familiar with the songs and were singing along. The Posies had a great sense of humor and interacted well with the crowd. They were also available after the concert to sign CDs and posters at the merchandise table. They were very friendly and very approachable. Thanks to my friend who sent me some of their music a few weeks ago! Highly recommend anyone go see the show!!!
