King

As always, KING gave an amazing show. I've seen these girls perform 4 times in the past year and a half and will be going to their shows every time they come into town!

The singers must have good balance with the music as their voices are somewhat soft. If you have heard their album you will know what I am talking about. Anyway the music seemed to overshadow the vocals though I am not sure it was planned as there was some mention of technical difficulties before King came on stage. I left pleased but wanting a little more engagement with the audience and some sense that new material is coming.

I was surprised to see the tech crew had trouble with the sound - only because they are such pros. Overall, the opener was great and more suited to the venue. King had amazing complexity to some of their songs - made so perhaps just because the vocals did not project well over the instrumentation. Perhaps it was where I sat, but I'd never had an issue at the Birchmere before. Seat choice never seemed to matter. But anyone can see they're amazingly good at what they do. Just seemed like an off night for the overall sound.

I loved the whole experience from start to finish. The concert started on time, the seats were comfortable, King's energy, sound, and vocals were great and the crowd was involved!

The concert had an intimate and warm environment. Great vocals and vibe!!

I appreciate the fact that they started on time and gave a great show, wish it was longer. Enjoyed listening to my favorite songs from the album live!!! I am looking forward to seeing them again in the future and new music to come!

It was a wonderful opportunity to see King live! I was introduced to their music earlier this year so I looked forward to hearing them perform their songs. The crowd was excited and King enjoys performing. The group is building a loyal fan base. The venue, Foundry in the Fillmore, is intimate and comfortable; you stand close to the stage which was perfect for hearing a group like King.

Show was absolutely amazing! Soulful and melodic, the women of KING put on an incredible show. The icing on the cake was them coming off stage to meet their fans! I will continue to support this act.
