Alice Glass

You've heard her on your cd payers and mp3s and thought she's amazing. Wait until you see and hear her live. The Best show I've been to and I've seen crystal castles live before and plenty of other shows and concerts. Her voice is beautiful. Will love to see her perform again.

Words cannot even express the immense joy and happiness Alice Glass and Zola Jesus brought me that night. This was my first time seeing Zola live and was amazed at how she sounds exactly like She does on her albums (can t say that for a lot of today s new artists). While Zola had us feeling the feels (I cried when she sang Witness), Alice brought the party. Kicking off her set with Forgiveness and playing a few Crystal Castle s songs, she had the place jumping. Those two together, even though they are on opposite sides of the spectrum, created something so etheral. I wish I could relive that night over and over again.

Zola Jesus was absolutely incredible! Her voice was so beautiful and I loved her set. Unfortunately, Alice Glass during this show was mostly lip syncing to track. It made me really sad and I didn t want to believe it because I looked up to Alice growing up. And when I saw her play with Crystal Castles back in the day, she actually sang then too. But I stayed for four Alice songs and left. She kept mouthing the words to track and that s a waste of my time and money. She did play crystal castles stuff but that wasn t why I wanted to go to this show......

So Zola Jesus freaking murdered everyone in the venue why she wasn t the main headliner, I do not understand. Her bolstering voice and haunting layers had everyone in the venue is silent awe. She is everything and more for a 50 minute show. Alice Glass comes on stage walking like that farmer guy in Men in Black that gets that giant roach monster to take over his body. She started with \u2018Forgiveness and the bisshhh is lip-syncing...you got one job Gurl, sing. All these wannabe goth children were living for Lurch monster and at some point this Jack Skellington chick gets up on stage and throws herself on the crowd. Everyone was waving their hands and lighters like a Bon Jovi concert. 4 songs in, my friend and I had enough. Zola, gurl you WERE the winner of this night, Alice can go back to her k-hole.
