FFS put on an Awesome show! They performed many FFS songs as well as some Franz Ferdinand and Sparks songs. They were full of energy, engaged the crowd and got the words to their songs right, lol! We bought our tickets at full price well in advance and the show was worth every penny paid! Alex and Nick did a great job of working the crowd with eye contact while they were performing. Russel is entertaining with his hand motions to go with the songs. And Ron with his straight face, never cracking a smile except when he dances. Just an Amazing show. We followed it up with greeting them out back after the show which was a great experience in itself.

Anyone that likes Franz Ferdinand should see this show. High energy and lots of fun. 18 songs in 90 minutes. Who says collaborations don't work?

A Sparks fan from the last century, I saw the group in Brighton a couple of years ago. Two guys/one piano and they did a great job. What they needed was a good band behind them. And Franz Ferdinand did just that. The addition of FF--great musicians and showmen proved that it is possible for the total to be greater than the sum of its parts. High energy, good music, audience excitement from beginning to end. Please come back soon!

Such an enjoyable show. Everyone had so much energy and I love how all the differnt songs just meshed together. Definitely would recommend people see them live. Also the change to a way better venue was a bonus.

Ungh. I was in the pit, screaming and dancing and wishing the night would never end. This band is the equivalent of the best pizza in the world. This band could start a war for oil and even the environmentalists would support them. This band could probably get away with murder, if it wanted to. So, yeah. FFS. Love 'em.

FFS was a high energy and incredibly fun ride through a unique collaboration, the deep catalog of Sparks decades long career and some of the pop gems Franz Ferdinand have unleashed on the world. You'd never know this was two separate musical entities. They worked together like they had been a cohesive unit for years. Ronald Mael held up his end by keeping a deadpan gaze looking straight ahead, playing his keyboards like he was typing a report. It was the last night of the tour. We were secretly hoping they'd announce they were going back into the studio for a second album and would tour again. (there's always hope)

Really fun show. Russel and Alex interaction good. They played some FF favorites plus Sparks classic This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us.Paul came out when the Intelligence were on to lend some drumming. Some of the Franz guys were involved the crowd to watch openers.

Venerable ground-breaking bands Sparks and Franz Ferdinand came together to form FFS, record 2015's best and most forward-sounding album, and to tour Europe and North America. Tuesday's show at the packed Wiltern (moved from the Palladium) exceeded even the most faithful fan's expectations. Seldom are so many smiling faces seen -- onstage and in the audience. The combined band plays seamlessly and energetically together, roaring through songs from the new album as well as a sprinkling of songs from each of the Sparks and FF catalogs with equal aplomb and enthusiasm. Their new collaboration and self-titled debut album, FFS, perfectly embodies each band s sound, while being something completely unique in its own right. And that goes for their performance as well. They were one and the fans were right there with them.

People who complain about T5 need to find better places to stand. I thought they were great. Lots of FFS, three FF songs, and at least one Sparks song. Would love to go again.

Franz Ferdinand and Sparks shared the stage to perform songs from not only the FFS album but also with their individual bands. It was clear that not only they enjoyed the work they did together but the individual songs were shared and their enjoyment was so apparent it bled into the audience. The crowd of a mix of old and young were dancing and clapping the night away. A great night for all involved.

FFS is a band deeper than Franz Ferdinand and Sparks separate, yet surprisingly approachable. Their music is something like The Killers meets Arcade Fire meets New Order. Most of their repertoire comes from their new record, but they managed to play a few hits from their respective groups (their new material is far more interesting, if you ask me).

franz ferdinand + the sparks ? this sounds like the support band, not a total different act with both bands a the same time on stage

This had to be one of the best concerts ive seen in a long time. The FFS cd is awesome and the concert was even more awesome. RON was amazing as was Russell as well as the rest of the band. I hope this was not a one time collaboration and I hope we get lots of newmusic in the future.

Yes, it was good, but I think FF lost its focus and the brand is blurred with the second vocalist.

I am a fan of Franz Ferdinand, and was curious when they put out their FFS project. Never knew who Dparks was before that, I figured it was some kind of gimmick. Boy was I wrong. Sparks is great, started listening to the album Kimono My House and was hooked. I liked a lot of the songs on the FFS album, so I decided to go to the show Awesome idea. They played a lot of FFS songs, along with hits from both Franz Ferdinand and Sparks. I was beyond excited to hear all of that. Decided to buy the FFS vinyl after the show, and was walking to my car when I noticed people were waiting outside by a back door. So I decided to wait also. In the next hour, the entire band (all Sparks and Franz members) came out one by one and took pictures, signed autographs, and talke to everyone who wanted to. Hands down one of the greatest experiences I've ever had at a show. Franz, Sparks, and FFS are all great. Thanks again guys!

FFS is a bizarre partnership but it works. Great performance! I would have liked more classic Sparks, though. Russell and Ron have lost none of their magic. The Inteeligence opened. I was very impressed. The Boston Orpheum is a glorious building. The façade is a ghastly pastiche but much of the interior is original.

I went expecting to enjoy more FF than Sparks, I was severely let down! I may not be a hipster, per se, but only two good FF songs. The rest, god awful.
