Ive been to other David Bowie tributes before. Being a fan, my hopes for a good time were high. It was basically bands covering bowie songs. Somewhat unprofessional: lots of mistakes, sound problems, unorganized, over the too MC. Also, they only let the DJ play a few songs in between bands. The MC was mostly yapping. The place was empty. Less than half the place was filled and its not a big place. It lastes two hours. They "wrapped up" by 11. The MC was even glad they were "ahead of schedule." The bartender (1) was super rude and threw my change in a puddle of water at the counter. Did not know how to distribute her attention. Just bad. It was expensive for what was provided. Door price was even higher. Also, the even was on a Wednesday, really?? The only reason I gave it a stars was because there was a band that played Bowies funk songs (one being Golden Years) that made the whole room a little livelier, even for a little while. Definitely would not pay for this again, or even go for free.
