WOW Festival

I have been a follower of Iyanla since the days of Aaron Davis Hall, she was powerful then and more so powerful now. I wish my InnerVision sisters and brother was there with me. To be a follower, you must have a good leader, that she is. I left feeling more determined to love my sisters, regardless of past situations and circumstances, we need each other. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

I have followed her for years and it was great to finally see her in person. I do wish she would have gone a little deeper. Being someone who has read all of her books, I feel as though the message was very surface and lacked depth. However, her energy made it all the more enjoyable regardless.

Iyanla Vanzant brought the house down from the moment she stepped out into the audience with her theme music "It's my time to Shine." She had all the women in there on their feet rocking and pumped up with excitement for what would be a life changing experience. Her motivational speaking she brought with her was definitely received by all. This was my first time at the Apollo and this was such a great venue for an intimate session between Ms. Vanzant and the audience.
