Chad Elliott

Opening set with blues /rock band was straight off the new album Wreck & Ruin (which I'll be looking for!) - a fun mix of songs with energy & feeling, none of that "Isn't this the same song we just heard?" Musicians all were talented & special pizazz added by "talking" electric guitar solos and keyboard. Young singer for harmonies added to the polish of the performance. Second set featured Anna Kopaska from PaleMoons doing acoustic duets with Chad, moody & magical. Next Chad Elliot came out and played some strong solo numbers - even brought his harmonica which just might be the diff between 4.5 and 5 stars for me. Finale featured the whole band again playing great clap-and-foot stomping tunes, and how I wish the show didn't have to end. Chad Elliott is a terrific live performer and very gifted composer, his personal song intros really add richness to the lyrics. SO GLAD I didn't miss this one!

Great evening at the Temple Theater - hearing Chad and other Iowa musicians as he celebrates his new CD! Happy to hear his new work with a full band who were terrific! Enjoyed all aspects of the evening performances with Chad and band, the introduction of the Pale Moons with Chad and wonderful female singer; and Chad doing a few solo tunes.

Chad Elliott is such a talented singer/songwriter, it's hard to put into words how enjoyable and entertaining this evening of music actually was. Whether playing solo, accompanying himself on the acoustic guitar or playing with a full band, his sound is impeccable. His music just "works" either way.

Chad Elliott always gives a great concert, in this show he introduced his new project "The Blue Moons" and that was a treat. Go see Chad in concert, good for all ages.

If one is addicted to Americana and Blues music, Chad Elliott is an artist for you. Great music, great messages in the songs, and great back story.

The venue was intimate and the sound was amazing ! great lighting.
