Mizzou Tigers Men's Basketball

The Mizzou Arena is a great place to watch a basketball game. From the time we arrived we were treated with friendly smiles and assistance. Parking was close by . Food concessions were many and tasty.

I went to the game on 11/30. Sat in section 113, they where excellent seats. The Sprint Center is very big and very nice! Game was very exciting, got real loud throughout the game. Although my team lost, I had a very good time and look forward to going to more events at the Sprint Center!

Game was great, seats were not. I would definitely not sit in the corner sections ever again.

The Sprint Center in KC is a great venue for a basketball game. It is easy to locate seats. The view of the court is excellent.

Unfortunately, my Tigers lost a great game in OT. Aside from the gimmicky timeout games on the court, horrible refing both ways, and expensive drinks, the fans did a great job supporting the Tigers and showed that Kansas City has a great basketball following. Bring the NBA to KC!!!

What a great game! John Higgins (referee that has frosted tips and fake hair) really blew a lot of calls but overall it was a fun college basketball game. I guess that three that did not actually get off before the buzzer in the first half ended up being a big deal, didnt it John?

A little slow entering the venue, but once inside it was great. Very comfortable seating and temperature.

One of the most exciting games we have attended. Loved every minute of it except the outcome!

I got a promotional email saying the tickets were $10. I found it was impossible to obtain a $10 tickets. The sale was only good online, which of course made it subject to convenience, facility, and handling fees. By the time it was said and done my tickets were just under $20 each. The event was way overpriced. The CBE classic managed to sell actuall $10 tickets and it sold out.

The game was great. It was one of the best college basketball games I have ever seen, but I was a bit disappointed that the ticket specials that were ran had such exorbitant Ticketmaster fees associated with them that even cheap tickets were at least $10 more per ticket. Thanks Tigers for a great game! And Ticketmaster....you suck.

It was freezing cold, Sprint Center was too slow at getting people in the door. They opened a side entrances way too late. Seats were way further away than appeared on the map. Dissappointed. Issues with drunk fans standing and being hard to deal with. No fan control appeared to be in play. No advertisement for text number to report fan issues!! If so, it was not prominent enough or advertised often enough. I never saw it and was looking for it all game long. No MU versus GT souvey cups at the concession stand. They should have at least had Mizzou cups offered for drinks. That is just plain cheap/lazy of the Sprint Center/event planner/concessions planner for the prices they charge for drinks (especially beer). No one wants a generic Sprint center cup!

It was my first basketball game at Sprint Center and I thought it was great except for one thing. Why the heck couldn't my wife bring in her camera with a detachable lense? All she wanted to do was take some good pictures of us and our boys at their first big time basketball game. I don't understand why this rule is in place. Is someone afraid that we were going to take pictures of the game and try to sell them? That's BS! Are they afraid we had a bomb in my camera lense? That's BS! This rule sucks and will certainly play a role in our desicion to attend future events at Sprint Center.

Our seats were great! You could see everything. It was very bright in the Sprint Center. You could also hear very well! The event was exciting and people were out of their seats a lot! It was my sons first MU game and he had a blast! Overall very satisified! Would go again!

Great game other than the final score. Very good facility to watch an event.

The sprint center is a nice venue. My only issue was there was no Bud Light on the Upper level. Only Miller and I think Coors. Not a super huge issue, but it would be nice if at least one of the concession stands sold Bud Light. Other than that, we walked around and had a great time. The seats are a little tight, but then again we were up high so maybe they get bigger as you go down.

This was my first time to the Sprint Center and all I can say is that getting into the place (meaning getting through the doors) is the pits. Seriously it took nearly 15 mins to get into the facility and then we had to wait in a second line for them to scan out tickets. I don't think there are enough ways to get into the Sprint Center, in fact I think there are only 2 entrance points. So we stood out in the cold feeling like cattle being herded in. But once inside the Center is amazing, great seating at nearly any location, clean.

Great game and Mizzou arena is a great place to watch a game.

It was a great event to experience! I will definitely be there again next year.

This was the first time we attended the game and what a game it was! We definately plan to come back again next year. Game was intense and the atmosphere was exciting. We had two cheering for the Illini and two cheering for Mizzou so it was very fun!!

Overall had a nice time, college like atmosphere. Restroom lines weren't too bad. Beer prices are way too expensive.

The crowd was crazy. The environment was unforgettable. The NCAA referees for this game however were horrible, costing MU a huge win. I would LOVE to see an NBA team get picked up by KC to play in the Sprint Center. That would be the best thing to hit KC in a long time!

the parking at sprint center is expensive and inconvenient, but that's to be expected for a downtown stadium i guess. the service charges charged on any ticket at the sprint center are ridiculous. and as most venues the food and beverages are way over priced.

That was an excellent evening!! I really enjoyed the before activities in the power and light district and except for the final score the game and the enviroment were excellent

This was the first time I had ever been to the Sprint Center and loved it. Arena was awesome for basketball and concessions were great, very affordable for a family with bottomless pop and popcorn. Quick Trip inside was also great.

Atmosphere was great. Competition was great. Seats/(sitelines) were great. Arena is great. The outcome was disappointing.

First time at Sprint Center...WOW. Very easy to navigate. Not a bad seat in the house. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Worst part of the evening was getting out of the parking garage after the game. It was a nightmare. Overall the experience was great and I will gladly attend other events at the Sprint Center

The MU vs. Georgetown game was awesome, despite the outcome! I wish it was a sold out arena, but there was plenty of black and gold in the stands representing. Looking forward to my next game which is the KSU vs. UNLV game. I can't wait to see all of Frank Martin's facial expressions!!!!!

Great game....crappy seats. I would never want to sit in the top section again. I hear people say not a bad seat in the sprint center I would disagree!!!

Good game in spite of MU loosing in overtime. Georgetown was unbelievable at the free throw line- 100% but when the other team gives you a gift you should make the most of it. The Tigers did not capitalize on the gifts they received or they would have won the game in regulation. I need to manage my expectations of the Tigers and not compare them to the previous teams that were always performing the 40 minutes of hell.

Although we didn't win, the Sprint Center as a basketball venue was virtually fantastic! I say virtually because my primary gripe with the Center is the abysmal process for getting into the event. I understand and don't quarrel with the security check but standing outside while SOME of the doors are even open is less than desirable. Aside from the above, I enjoyed the game and the seats!

Enjoyed the game when MU was able to shake off their nerves and played better the second half. They need to work on making free throws and quit making sloppy shots. Seemed like MU did a lot of standing around when they had the ball on their half. They played loose & wild quite a bit. The crowd was older and more subdued than at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia. I was disappointed that there weren't any programs available. Also, the refs made some very poor calls. The Georgetown players seemed to make most of the shots they took, had more control of the ball, and didn't play nearly as reckless as MU. Georgetown also substituted a lot players and didn't seem worn out. Mizzou has a talented team and great coaches. I think Georgetown just out played them.

This game would have been extraordinary no matter where it was held. However the Sprint Center experience was extraordinary as well from nearby parking to arena accommodations. Very impressed.

While the game was freaking great, especially the outcome, one complaint I would have is the lack of facilities. I left at half time, and did not get back to my seat until 2 minuets had elapsed in the second half. That should not happen. More bathrooms and larger ones, would be a great investment.

The event staff was amazing, the venue is perfect, and the prices were way better than going to the Royals or Chiefs.
