I had no expectations leading into this show. I have never been to a Broadway show, so I have no idea what to expect. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! The cast was amazing. This story pulls on your heart strings. I would see it again and again! I highly recommend giving it a shot! YOU WILL NOT BE LET DOWN!

I love this show. It's absolutely lovely and magical. It tells the story of how JM Barrie meets and is inspired by Sylvia Llewelyn-Davies and her sons. It's funny, sad and highly entertaining. I saw it in New York the first time with the original Broadway cast, but this cast leaves nothing to be desired. Worth the time and money to see.

My whole family enjoyed this comedic, heartwarming musical based on how the story Peter Pan was made. I would recommend this musical to everyone. The production was spectacular.

Having seen the movie about JM Barrie, I wasn't sure how I would feel about this musical. I can tell you it is wonderful! The actors are super and the technical moments are not overdone - they are just the right amount. When they fly in the arms of another its s perfect and no Foy wires were necessary. The moment when she dies and the wind sweeps the stage it brought tears to my eyes! The choreography is so well done and each actor plays their part to the max! It is definitely worth seeing!

This was an amazing performance for both young and old. We took both grandmas in their 70's and our 6 year old daughter. Everyone loved it.

I honestly have to admit that I was not entirely familiar with the story line for this one; I thought it was "simply" a Peter Pan story, which is not correct. I was originally sold on the fact that Matthew Morison had done the original role and I had heard his understudy, who was the lead in the traveling crew, was just as amazing. I also expected it to be a great family show, which is what I was looking for. I ended up being blown away by how moving the story was. The actors were all amazing, the music was grand, and it was not lacking for that magical feeling I was hoping for! There are some teary eyed moments, so bring a tissue!

This is great show to take an older child to. Adults will like it too.The story is fun, and the dancing and ensemble antics are very entertaining. The children are incredibly talented. It is hard to believe that they are so young. They come across like seasoned veterans displaying very consistent characters. The visuals were also very effectives. I love when scenes change using video and small set pieces. This makes the story flow from one scene to another seamlessly. The auditory features were great, especially the cannons. I would like to hear the lead characters' mics turned up louder when they sing with the ensemble, however. They both have lovely but light voices. But overall, kudos and bravo to a very energetic and talented cast.

Finding Neverland was the highlight of the theatre season for us. The talented actors were perfectly cast for these roles. The entire production was beautiful. We laughed, we cried, we turned to one another in amazement during the show. We stopped next door after the show for a drink and ended up joining conversations with other people who had just left the theatre . Finding Neverland will remain a joyful memory for me as it will for those we shared laughter and excitement with that snowy Sunday afternoon.

Good Act 1. Act 2 repetitive of Act 1 with a disappointing 'opening night' scene. Promising Captain Hook from Act 1 fell flat for lack of material. Pity!

This show and cast are both haunting, lovable and very entertaining! My hats off to the cast, the kids are a joy to watch and listen to, Tom Hewitt, great performance, and of Course, Kevin Kern makes the show! I saw this twice in Cleveland, and Took the train to Chicago for the Saturday Matinee, 12/03/2016. Continued success, and hurry back to Cleveland, Ohio!!

I did not go into seeing this with any expectations. I ended up being very impressed with the quality of the performers and thought the show was entertaining. I was also impressed with the writing of the show. There were a few slow times but they found a way to weave in humor which went over well.

We have been subscribers of the Broadway series for many years and enjoy musicals. Finding Neverland is among the best we have seen. The music is phenomenal, and the cast did a great job in delivering a touching performance. We were so engaged with the performance we forgot we were in the audience...Thank you!

The play had its good moments, but I don't think it had the pizazz of a Wicked, Jersey Boys or Beautiful, etc. to be worth the amount of the ticket. The actors were very good though, it's just the story was a bit boring.

Sorry - but whilst very professionally done by the performers, this was a total waste of an evening, nothing at all to engage with. Minimal plot or characterisation and instantly forgettable music. Even the 'death' scene - which should have everyone weeping in the aisles into box loads of tissues - was totally glossed over - I suspect most of the audience didn't even realise it was happening. So disappointing - by contrast with local Stage 773 production of End of the Rainbow with a barnstorming central performance which had the audience enthralled. What a wasted opportunity this Finding Neverland was - that there was so much good story material to work with made this outcome even worse.

This play had a few special moments, mainly in the special effects area, but in short, it wasn't worth what I paid for a ticket in the loge. I didn't care for the actor playing James Barrie. Some of the other actors were better and the four boys were great, each and every one. And I loved the dog! Two or three of the musical numbers were entertaining, but most of the music was average. I became bored with the play and about halfway through the second act, I began looking at my watch to see how much longer it would be until the play's end. All in all, I liked the movie much better.

Despite some newspaper reviews to the contrary, my wife and I found this a truly outstanding production. I have found myself humming and singing a few of the songs a few days after seeing the play, which to me is a true measure of musical. Kevin Kern, the actor who played J. M. Barrie, was fantastic. His rendition along with Ben Krieger (Peter) of "When Your Feet Don't Touch the Ground" brought a tear to my eye. This was one of several great numbers. My only complaint of the production is it started a little slow and felt a little disjointed but it did not take away from the songs and production.

I loved the movie and was looking forward to seeing the stage production but, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The Chicago cast over-acted with head flips and exaggerated dialogue. That, coupled with the fact that the story pace was so slow, made me want to leave at intermission.

We expected the show to be more about the story of Peter Pan than the background story of how the play was written. The story was sad and children came to be happy and excited about the play. The show was a little slow. The first act ended well and we thought that finally we would see more of the Peter Pan story we know. But that didn't happen. The acting was good and the lighting excellent!!

The show was very nice, acting was good, music was good but the things that make the story compelling were all but missing. The joy of the ending was tempered but the white washing of the family tragedy. It felt like the target was making the show kid friendly and the story lost its soul.

Bear in mind that I am a serious theatre geek. So I felt that this show does not boast the strongest book or score of a Broadway musical. However, a lot of elements coalesce in the second act nursery scene to create a theatrically satisfying and visually thrilling experience. The entire cast was strong--particularly the four little boys.

We loved this play. It is sweet, Inspiring and fantastical! The cast was excellent. The young men who play the boys received cheers at the curtain call. Technically this was cutting edge, newly developed technology which truly brought the fantasy to life. I would not recommend this for under age 10 as the child behind me who was about 6 did not understand some of the symbolism, but the older children loved it too. So glad we decided to see this!
