Jonny Lang

His live performance is something to behold, he certainly puts his whole body and passion into every song. Been a fan for many years, that was my first opportunity to see him live, I look forward to the next time.

Worst sound mix I ve endured in a long time. The bass drowned out the keyboard and the rhythm guitarist. Louder isn t better, it s just louder. It wasn t distorted it was just too loud for the venue. This theater must have been designed for children as there was absolutely no leg room in front of the seats. Left the show with sore knees and ringing ears. As for Johnny Lang, well he noodled too much. Every guitar solo part was way to similar. One trick pony stuff. The band did a terrible version of Rack em Up on which he tried to Jazz it up a little with solos from all the band mates. Epic fail! This was my 4th time seeing him and I was let down. Too bad the ticket insurance doesn t cover poor performance. I actually talked a friend into spending $72 to see this show with me based on past shows I d seen. I owe him $72 out of guilt!

Johnny Lang is an extraordinary artist extremely good at what he does and puts out all the energy for his audience!

Seen Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd recently, have heard the albums and seen the YouTubes for years, etc.. Big fan of both and both great guitarists. Kenny sticks with the Stevie classic blues style and does it with the best of them but he doesn't sing much. Jonny comes out of know where with this searing vibrato and original licks. Its all feel, its all emotion and its all very real and then he closes the deal with vocals that come from the earth through his feet and out of his mouth. End of story!!

What an amazing talent. To think this guy was doin' it at age 16 (and younger) with the skills of a true blues veteran. I finally got to see him live and witness a powerful singer, player AND band. The show was great...so much fun. The only downside was that I wanted more. Well, hopefully he'll be back, right?

What an excellent concert! If he had performed a second night I would have bought tickets and saw him again. He puts his heart and soul into his music. I have never seen an artist perform with such emotion. He never tired and the rest of his band were an excellent asset making it probably the best concert I have been to this year. Come back, Jonny!

I have been a fan of Jonny Lang for more than ten years, but had not seen him perform live. His show was well worth waiting for!! Not only is he an incredible musician, but his entire band contributed to making it an unforgettable concert. Lang's guitar work and vocals are unforgettable, and the range of styles from hard cold blues to smokin hot rock and roll was very satisfying.

Yes - another great performance by Jonny!!! He just pours it all into the show. Will definitely see again and again Venue is not bad. It's nice that you can walk right up to the stage. Rip off prices for drinks.

This show was incredible. I was a little skepical going in, buy Jonny turned that skepicism into a true fan in no time. The man sure can play and entertain. It's a shame that the HOB wasn't packed, but that was even better, because we had a great view. A few songs I did not recognize and a few songs that I wanted to hear, he did not play, but all in all it was an outstanding performance which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I LOVE Jonny Lang and have since I first heard him when he was 15. He is absolutely one of the best blues/rockers out there. His latest album, Turnaround will bring tears to your eyes! What a talent!!!!!!! His band is just awesome and what a nice group of guys. My 85 year old mother joined me for the concert, along with other age groups and they met her after the show. Everytime they saw her it was, "Hey, it's Naomi, give us a hug" or let's get a picture." They were so gracious to her. She will tell anyone who will listen about her experience at the Jonny Lang concert and how much she enjoyed herself. Not many performers can tout that they have an 85 year old groupie!! That's OK, if my granddaughter could have attended, she's 8, she would have told everyone about who she calls ' The World Famous Jonny Lang'. His talent is not just for a certain age group. He performs for everyone and EVERYONE is floored by his talent. Can't wait for his next concert.

From the opening chords of One Person at a Time I knew it was going to be a great night. Jonny plain and simply was in the zone that night and his band was very tight. Jonny combined gut wrenching guitar skills with incredibly soulful vocals. What made this night special was the humble approach Jonny took towards his fans who were loving every minute of the show. When Jonny took the time to say a few words his smile was as wide as the sky and then in a flash he was back ripping it up with his excellent band.Just inspiring. My wife never saw Jonny before and is now a fan for life !!!!

I've been a fan of Jonny Lang since his first CD "Lie to Me" when he was just a teenager. This young blues musician is an incredible talent . His guitar skills rival Eric Clapton and others of his stature, and his vocals are surprisingly mature and range from soft ballads to growling blues. I would love to see him again!

This was the fifth time I have gone to see Jonny. He always puts on a spectacular show, putting everything he's got into his performance. I always leave his shows amazed and pleased.

wish the concert could have gone longer. nice that you could be next to the stage and really watch the group in action. also i would have liked more acoustic. been listening to him since he started so glad i got the chance to see him in concert.

We first saw Jonny Lang soon after he put out his second album. Musically and vocally he's matured well beyond the precocious talent he possessed back then (although he still looks like a kid, damn him!). The crowd at The Rose was entranced from chord one--seriously lost count of the "We Love You, Jonny's!" proffered during the first couple songs. His rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Just Enough for the City" is sublime. It's difficult to watch him play at times because his facial expressions can be a tad tortured, but if you close your eyes, or focus on the mesmerized faces surrounding you in his audience, you'll find yourself transported. Once again he's at the top of my playlists.

I've seen Jonny over 40 times. Ever since the first time at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia when he was 16 years old, he gave me chills, inspired me with his passion and voice. I will follow him for years to come and see him anytime I'm able. I must say that the venue there in Myrtle Beach House of Blues is one of the best places to see him. You are so close. You can see every chord and stroke of his guitar. You can see his passion pouring out on the stage in front of you. If you have never seen Jonny, find a way to!!! He's incredible. What's more, we actually got to meet him for the first time ever. He signed autographs and took pictures with fans later in the evening before leaving on the bus for their next gig in Charlotte.

As usual Jonny gives 110% every time he hits the stage. I walk away amazed every time we see him. The Uptown is a great venue to see a show.

What I love about Jonny is not just his off the hook talent shredding his ax, but he is true to his faith, his self and every bit of his songs have meaning, deep meaning! I love him for that. He came in with burning down the house and rocked it steady for the rest of the night! Awesome, intimate evening with an incredible talent. Happy Halloween! :)

When you consider that Jonny Lang has been playing and touring professionally since his early teens, it is absolutely amazing that he keeps going strong and just keeps getting better! His shows are energetic, entertaining and intensely emotional and I have never seen a time when he hasn't given his all for the audience. In short, Mr. Lang is a truly unique and uncommonly passionate performer, and his shows are not to be missed.

Every time I see Jonny Lang he is exceptional! His guitar playing is amazing and his singing is filled with pure emotion. Sings to your heart and makes every song feel as if it is the first time he has ever sung it... I mean that in a good way! BB kings is such a great place to see him, and others, as it is such an intimate venue with great sound. LOVED every second:)

Great performance again, his presence with his guitar is genuine; and forceful when he wants. The band was on time. I'll always check him out when he's in town.

Jonny Lang & band gave crowd their money's worth!! Was awesome night of entertainment, playing some older material as well as numbers from newest album. The harder Jonny worked, the more the crowd enjoyed...and showed it. Jonny seemed genuinely touched and flattered in a very humble way. Jonny is one of the most talented guitarists alive, and he poured out his heart through his Friday night.

This was an amazing concert. The Railhead is such an intimate experience it made for an unforgettable show. Jonny is so humble, he and the band just walk on stage and started playing. They were unbelievably tight, a real pleasure to watch how much fun they were having up there. Jonny brings so much emotion to his performance. It was almost like the band couldn't stop playing, like they couldn't help themselves. Every song was like a finale...you would think they moved onto another song only to have them bring it back to the original arrangement...5 minutes later. Exquisite. It seems almost like Jonny just picks up his guitar and this is what comes out. It was unforgettable and I will jump at the chance to see him again!

This was my GF's and my first time seeing Jonny and he was great, I knew he was a talent but to watch him on stage perform was just fabulous. His band was really, really good and they all seemed extremely happy to be on stage that night. Jonny had an ear to ear smile the whole show and seemed to have a lot of gratitude. Just a fun , great show!

I became aware of Jonny Lang when he performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in the early 2000s. The talent he displayed for his young age at the time blew me away. The blues aren t usually my thing, but there was something about Jonny s voice that drew me in. When I saw that he was playing at The Fillmore (one of my favorite venues) I figured it d be a great opportunity to see him. Jonny Lang blew me away the entire show. His guitar playing is remarkable. His voice is so soulful; you can tell he feels every word that he sings. Jonny and his band Barry Alexander (drums), James Anton (bass), Akil Thompson (rhythm guitar) and Dwan Hill (keys) jammed the entire night. Jonny looked like he was having a great time on stage and was very appreciative of the audience there to see him. What a talent! Honor By August, a rock band from Washington, D.C., opened up the show. They were a great choice for an opener. Already Yours was a stand out song for me.

This was my 20th time seeing Jonny Lang in concert over the last 14 years. It never gets old. Unfortunately, his set was shorter than normal because he was the opening act for Buddy Guy. There was a new keyboardist - Charlie Jones who was fun to listen to. The new bass player is Sonny Thompson. He seems like a good fit. Barry was on drums and Akil on guitar. Jonny really seems to be having fun with his new crew up there on stage. The crowd seem to get into his new single "Blew up the House". Jonny Lang's new album "Fight for My Soul" is so moving. You can feel him putting his heart and soul into every song. I look forward to his return to Florida and I hope to hear more songs from the new album in the near future! Rumor has it he came out and met some fans after the show. Unfortunately, I was not able to hang around. My friends said that he was so sweet and humble and especially patient while fans were having camera issues. I know everyone appreciated it especially since he travels with his family and I am sure he was anxious to join back up with them. Jonny is an amazing musician and I look forward to seeing him play many more times!

Show was really spectacular. One of my favorite artists who continues his path of putting his all on the stage and giving an honest, amazing performance.

I'm a huge fan of Jonny having first seen him at the Grove with Buddy Guy about two years ago. I saw him in November 2012 at the Sabin in Beverly Hills and can't get enough of him. His new album is awesome and this time at the grove I had stage seats and and witnessed him up close and personal. He is soulful and is connected to his music. Soul, jazz, rock, gospel, blues all in one. I highly recommend this artist!

Jonny Lang at the Grove sure got down! The venue was a dinner theater. To maximize seating, the tables are way too close together. If anyone has to exit their table for any reason, they're crawling over half the audience to get out. The service at our table was poor, but I'd imagine that might be a bit of a hard gig. The sound in the space was fantastic. The openers Honor By August, were a great band, if not an odd fit as an opener. Jonny himself had a grin ear to ear his entire set. He kept talking to a minimum (much to my mom's disappointment), but I think it was to cram as much music as he could into the evening. The band delivered solidly, and it seemed like they all had a blast playing together.

Saw jonny Lang live a year ago, at the alys Stephens center, huge venue had to sit near the nose bleed section.. well this time, literally being 25' away from the band was an absolutely incredible experience. Enjoyed the song selection thoroughly, every solo was fantastic, especially enjoyed the fact that jonny was very personable exposing his personality. Only disappointment was the lack of a drummer solo, it was my friends birthday who enjoys playing and listening to good drummers and I hyped him up for it.. however overall phenomenal concert that I will remember for the rest of my life.. hope to see jonny and buddy in February.

Great concert in a very intimate venue. it was the third time I've seen Jonny Lang in concert. he gets better every time I see him. can't wait for his next concert here in Atlanta.g

Best live performance I've ever seen, amazing talent.

This was absolutely the best concert I have ever been to. Honor By August was great and really got the audience pumped up for Johnny Lang. When Johnny sings and plays you can see the emotion in his face and body. There was a great connection with the audience and even they were really expressing themselves. I have liked Johnny for a long time but that night I had a real connection with three of Johnny's songs that touched me. But really, words cannot fully express how good this concert was. I liked the small venue of the House of Blues. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. All of the wait staff, bar tenders and other staff were very polite and helpful.

Jonny produced one of the best concerts I've been to in awhile! He brought so much energy to the stage. You really can't tell it's only a 5 piece band!

I have always been a huge Jonny Lang fan. I have every album. I have wanted to see him live since his first release & now I finally have. WOW! This guy has too much talent for one human being. In spite of being one of the greatest guitar players of a generation, if you took his guitar away, he is one of the most gifted vocalists you will ever hear. He can do more things with one voice than anyone I have ever heard. GREAT SHOW! GREAT MUSICIAN! VERY friendly & personable when we met him afterwards!!!!

I appreciate the open and humble attitude Jonny Lang carries with him on and offstage. With his rare and amazing gifts as an artist and performer, he could have an ego the size of Texas that most could understand. I appreciate that he doesn't, because it allows his gifts to shine through him. By staying centered as he has, his performances effect me, and obviously most others in the audience at his shows in a way that is hard to explain. Some sit mesmerized, completely transfixed from beginning to end, then burst into applause and excitement in the end as if they'd just woken up and were told they won the lottery! Others are more like me, embracing, singing out, dancing, just lost in the moments spent in the energy of a prodigy (he is probably tired of that word by now), fully energized after, like we just went to the church of blues! Young, old, whatever kind of music fan you are, nobody should never miss a chance to see Jonny Lang.

As always, Jonny puts everything he has into his music. As a member of the audience, one feels as if Jonny has handed his soul to you for two solid hours.

If you get the chance to see him live please do it. You will understand then

Both artist are great on cd but absolutely unbelievable seeing them live. I cant even imagine how they can do that show again and again since they literally leave it all on stage. and to have them both in the same show, was amazing to see 2 of the greatest guitarist around today in one night. There energy is so contagious, the crowd is with them on every note. They both were so entertaining and so much fun to watch. Was blown away by their performances, no need for jumbo trons, fireworks, dancers, lazers or any of that, just pure soul.

another great performance; JL gives his all and puts on a great show. HoB could have done a better lady of controlling a raucous crowd, often rudely noisy during the show.

I have been listening to JL since he first came out with his blues albums. Well this show was AWFUL! He played only 2 of his old songs that he completely ruined. Each song he played was over 10 minutes long because he had to have a loooong solo in every song. I felt like I was at someones house listening to them jam in the garage. JL played 6 songs before his encore, 6 songs! 3 more for the encore. I have never been more disappointed in an artist before. So save your money! However Mystic Lake is a beautiful casino and the beverages inside the showroom were cheap. Not a bad seat in the house either! I will go back to the casino again but not to see Johnny Lang! Most of the areas were non smoking too :) Very nice establishment!

Jonny Lang is nothing short of AMAZING live!!! If he comes to your area, or even within a few hours away, DO NOT miss his show! And we stuck around (a.k.a. stalked his tourbus) after the show and got to meet him and get autographs! He was great and in no rush to leave, even though it was pouring down rain and about 1:00 in the morning :)

The Birchmere is an amazing venue. Complete with a nice atmosphere...great drinks..and amazing food...plus the environment is very intimate...but add Jonny Lang to the mix and you have a night that you will never forget. I've been to quite a few concerts/shows in my day, but Jonny Lang is by far my favorite. His talents is unbelievable and he gives his absolute all to his audience. He's such a humble performer that you can't help but love him. He loves his band and his craft...so you have to respect him for that alone. I can honestly say that I was changed by this show.

I have seen JL in concert at least 10x. He NEVER disappoints! He is such a talented guitar player and singer. I could watch him live every day. We waited for him after the show so he could sign my 9 year old daughters guitar. He is very kind/sweet and talks to his fans. I hope he continues to play and tour, he is just so amazing to watch . Please come to the Panhandle of Florida more! We love your music .

Johnny is an amazing artist, guitar player, and vocalist. He plays with so much passion that I never miss a show when he is in town. If you ve never seen him in person I strongly urge you to put it on your bucket list because he is one of the best live performers ever! I paid for the VIP experience on his latest show and got to watch sound check and meet him in person and get his autograph. He is so down to earth and humble. A must see for sure!

It was beyond all expectations! I had purchased these VIP tickets long ago, and hadn t thought about it too much. I d never been to the Tralf in Buffalo, and didn t know what to expect. We walked into such an intimate venue with the band starting their sound check 20 feet away. It took a few moments to realize that Jonny was standing..RIGHT THERE, IN FRONT OF US!... In over 20 years of fandom, I never imagined this night. Usually by the time we get to each album release s concert (too many we couldn t remember), I m actually ready for the next album!!! But here it is...Jonny was the most personable, gracious, attentive and appreciative Musician-that-you-Idolize-and-get-to-meet whom anybody could ve imagined!!! He sat and talked with about 30 of us as if we were not fans, laughing, asking us our favorites (and why), it was amazing. They played a private few songs for us, signed anything and everything, and later, put on one of the best shows I ve ever seen! Jonny, keep doing ALL that you do! We will be there every step of the way (loudest whistle you d ever heard!) Go...See...This...Man.

I had the pleasure of attending the meet and greet with Jonny Lang. He is the most genuine, down to earth musician/artist I have met. He spent adequate time with each person, wasn't rushed, patient for autographs and pictures, and was engaging in conversation. He always gives 110% during his performances and this concert was no different. Amazing talent.

The venue itself was small and nothing really to speak of the security was not quick to handle problems and had to be asked several times . But the concert itself was awsome as always Jonny Lang delivered. I purchased the VIP experience so I was able to meet him after sound check . It was a dream come true for me as I have been a fan for years . He was very gracious and signed several things for me as well as posed for photos . Can't wait to see him again

Jonny Lang was incredible ! He is spot on with his performances. He really gets into his music and his audience. I was even lucky enough to have met him ! He puts so much heart & soul into his music. The Potowanimi Casino was great place to see anyone live as where ever you sit, it was a great veiw

Johnny put on an awesome show. The way he can make the guitar and his voice sound alike is unbelievable. I go to a fair amount of concerts and I believe his was the best so far this year. Jack Broadbent did the preshow and that guy was awesome as well. GREAT SHOW!!!

The whole night was incredible! The wait staff went above and beyond to our needs. Jonny out did himself on the guitar and I am a much more humbled person from experiencing his greatness. Thank you to everyone that worked tirelessly to put on this event.

Jonny is amazing. His encore was a Muddy Waters tune that I couldn't believe he slayed! He is truly a blues great! Don't let the pretty boy look fool you. He's the real thing!!

I've seen Jonny 3 times at the Birchmere always a great show. The band played abt 2 hrs. One of my favorite venues.

This was the second time I saw Jonny Lang and by the far the most amazing concert experience of my lifetime. I have been a long time fan since hearing him the first time in "97. The venue was far beyond my expectations. The acoustics were great as well. The time that Jonny took with each VIP was great. He was very down to earth and took time to interact with each fan. I will definitely buy a VIP pass for him again!!

Jonny Lang always puts on an excellent show. The crowd was so amazing to which just raises the bar and allows the artist to have a blast!

Johnny Lang was great- My issue is with the sound system there. I have produced many projects at this location and know that the sound is good, so I assume this is the operator of the System. This is a blues concert which means the guitar is going to be used. The first 3 tunes you could not hear the guitar - The drums and bass drowned out the guitar. I was very upset and ready to walk out of the concert. at the forth selection it got better but not great. The last 3 tunes the guitar was very present. He finally took off the reverb so you actually could hear Johnny Lang's voice . Not going to come back to this location again - very poor preparation for a concert. Too bad I love this venue...

I love, love, love Jonny....I first saw him when he was around 14yrs old at Musician Exchange in Ft Lauderdale he was an amazing guitarist....and now he is still amazing on the guitar but boy oh boy can he sing.

Meet & Greeted Johnny Lang on Dec 9, 2016 @ Talking Stick Casino. AWESUM!! He was fabulous! He remembered our names & just before the end of show he called us out because we were celebrating our Anniversary. He had us stand & had them turn the lights on & had the audience applaud. When it was him that was so inspiring. We love him & want to go see him at other shows. WE RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO GO SEE HIM YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.

First of all when ever Jonny comes to town I am there. I have seen over 15 performances in the last 10 years. Uptown Theater in Napa is a great venue, the acoustics and sound is amazing. Jonny lights up the room with his electric guitar like no one else. His words touch me deep inside and earlier in the evening my friend and i were having the what is our purpose. During his show I always find that purpose, to be a participant in Jonny's music. He puts everything he has and everything he loves into his melodies and strumming. Rock, blues and soul ooze from his fingers and sweat. he had to change his shirt three time because his playing produced so much heat. He kept playing through a broken string on his guitar. Like the true professional musician he kept going and the result was nothing less than amazing. In two more months I am going to see Jonny play again. He is one of a kind.

Saw Jonny quite a bit when he was a teenager back in Minneapolis..he was a Blues playing phenom with his young band (The Big Bang) whom really felt like a real band..He obviously got sidetracked from the high profile rock'n'roll lifestyle and reconnected with his faith..he seems to have transitioned past the youthful expectations of stardom and the alternative gospel R&B sounds to find a merger of the two that allows him the freedom to say what he feels while demonstrating his great gift as a blues guitarist.. His band really seems to enjoy playing with him and he is no longer the young kid playing with the adult professional musicians but more a band of peers and talented musicians in their own right. His guitarist & keyboard/organ players (both from Nashville-home of many talented musicians & songwriters) were fantastic and played seamlessly with the music..they felt more like a true band rather than Jonny Lang and his backup musicians and the music & energy resonated this..Johnny's guitar playing was terrific, varied and full of feeling..I've never seen him play better and he seems to have found his true voice as an artist again..and you can't beat his infectious smile..Keep going Jonny you're bringing joy to those who take time time to listen..looking forward to his continued journey..God bless and thank you for a great evening..

This was my third time seeing one of Jon's concerts and I would do it once a week every week if we could! He is such a fantastic artist and musician, but also an incredible person and human being. He will always be a friend of our family!

This is by far one of my fav shows and musicians to see live. The energy of Jonny Lang and his band is simply unmatched. I highly recommend this show!

Jonny never disapoints. Great concert in an intimate setting. Kudos to Variety Playhouse on their remodel, place looks great. The meeting and greet before the concert pushed my evening's experience over the top. Please do this again Jonny! I will definitely do this again. Already awaiting the next concert. Absolutely enjoy seeing him play at the Ryman. He was great and never a dull moment. If you ever want to see a great guitar player and a man that brings it to ever preformance than you have to see Jonny Lang!! Opener was great as well Michael Logen always great to see new talent. Second time seeing Jonny at the Ryman and was not disappointed!

This event was awesome in so many ways! First, the half stage show...without the stage turning is definitely the way to go. It was so intimate and every seat was perfect. I felt like I could have a conversation with the people on stage, that is how close we were. Jonny Lang and his band are mind blowing. It is clear that they love their profession and it shined through in their performance. This was one of the best concerts that I have every been to, I am so glad that I chose to take my daughter with me and I am sure she will have vivid memories of this show and how amazing it was.

Second time I've seen Johnny this year. He puts on a show you won't forget. His passion is for all to feel. He is a must see!!

Jonny pours his heart and soul into everything he does. If your lucky enough to get up close, you can see the veins in his neck pop when he belts out his vocals. His guitar playing is effortless and can be compared with great artists such as Buddy Guy and Albert King. I've seen his show twice now and he has had different rhythm guitarists that held their own and knew his music well. He has a great camaraderie with the band and they all seem to have fun laughing and entertaining. Usually saving the best showmanship for last when each musician gets their turn to jam. Which the keyboardist can really ham it up leaving the band practically rolling on the floor with laughter. The drummer seemed to barely walk off the stage from exhaustion after his assault on the drums. One welcome addition this year was a vocalist from Nashville. He only got one song to sing on his own at this particular show. I would have liked to hear him sing some more.

Jonny Lang and his band rocked the house at the IP in Biloxi MS. I FINALLY got to see his very cute self in person...So happy he made it to the deep south. Had a bluezy blast. Hope he comes back! OXOXY

First class show and venue. Jonny Lang is amazing. Young, clean cut and really puts on a great show. Wish I could see him more often.

Go to a lot of concerts...this was the best ever seen. He rocked that stage!!! We will go see him again and buy front row seats no matter the price!!

Jonny was great. Could've done without the yelling and screaming from the drunks in the crowd. Kind of hard to enjoy the music when people are louder than the performer.

I ve waited almost 2 years to see Johnny Lang in concert, finally saw him Mother s Day weekend at the IP Casino. The theater they have for music venues is not set up for acoustics. I knew the words to many of his songs and could barely make out what he was saying. I love a good guitar solo but it seemed he did a 2 to 3 minute guitar solo in between every verse, desperately just wanted to hear him sing the song . After about the 5th song I left the concert very disappointed. Now don t get me wrong, he has an amazing voice and even more amazing guitar playing skills but it was way way more than his albums.

He was incredible again. He did a Stevie Wonder song and it was Great!!!

He was amazing and the venue had good service, intimate seating.

When you hear that a performer left it all on the stage, they were talking about Johnny Lang. I expected a good show and got more.

Every song was an incredible jam session; extended to showcase Jonny's incredible guitar work! He is truly a modern day Jimi Hendrix/Robin Trower/Pat Travers all rolled into one! If you have a chance to see this guitar virtuoso by all means do it! The historic setting at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines IA provided the perfect setting for this concert. Jonny's warm up act Tony Lucca was amazing as well!

The hoyt Sherman building was an awesome place to visit. It was a magnificent old building with a lot of history behind it. And the ampletheater made the music just ring. It was great. The chairs are alittle close in fromt of you. But you forget about that as soon as the music starts. It was a great experience . I'll come back for another round when one of my bands are there .

There is no better live performer then Jonny Lang. Earth shaking!

Jonny Lang is always top notch at his concerts. The passion he has for music and his band members shows Everytime I see him.
