The Dirty Guv'nahs

I've seen this band several times,never disappointed. The Bijou Theatre is the perfect setting ,smaller,intimate, sound is always great.Staff/security are always pleasant and professional. The Dirty Guv'nahs are a local band from here in Knoxville, so the crowd was great, very excited to welcome them home!

It was an amazing concert. They sound amazing live and the venue was perfect! Thanks for the free koozies! :) We will definitely see the Guv'nahs again.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do for my man's birthday...road trip and concert to see The Dirty Guv'nahs! SO DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THEY ARE NO LONGER!!!!! I LOVE Fairlane among others! Please let me know if they get back together and start touring!!!

I am 56 years old and have attended many rock shows in my life including Aerosmith, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, U2 and too many more to name. I have to say I wouldn't trade the last two Dirty Guvnahs shows for any one of them. The September 19 show at the Bijou and the September 25 show at the Tennessee Theatre were the two best concert experiences of my life. Now I am neither a writer or a rock critic but I know what I love and that is the sweet, southern growl of James Trimble accompanied by his stellar sidekicks that make up the Dirty Guvnahs. It is like watching a highly talented family perform at the top of their game. From the opening lines of Brown Little Bird(my morning song) to the lovely Benediction, I couldn't stay in my seat. I have all of the Guvs' recordings that I can find but haven't been able to locate "Fly Me Up to Heaven". Could there be a better concert song than that one? The only down side was that this is the last show. My only thoughts are please change your mind or, at the very least, release a live recording of the Farewell Tour. In the immortal words of Van the Man "It is too late to stop now". Thank you for the wonderful Tennessee Theatre and the great music and memories of the Dirty Guvnahs.

I cannot think of a better show possible for the Guvs' final show of their farewell tour. The energy was incredible. All the guys were playing flawlessly and the sound was amazing. I love this band!!!! I'm sad to see them end, but the music will live forever! Best show ever.

This was the first time I saw the Guvs in concert- they put on an amazing, high energy show. The interaction with the audience was good- of course with the Bijou the artists are so close interaction is inevitable. The audience was a great mix of young and old- showing that the fan base is very diverse, which indicates the genre of music spans generations- I was there with my daughter- who also thought it was amazing. It is sad that this is the last tour/music. I think the Guvs were just hitting their stride- love the new CD!

So glad that they were my first ever concert. I loved the small event because it allowed the band to get closer with the crowd and interact more with us. I am definitely planning on going to their next concert. Go Guvs!

Great Show. This band is a great live act and should not be missed if they happen to be in your town.

Hears of them for years but it was the first time I have seen them in concert. They won me over, they now have as new fan. Can't wait to see them again!

If you are a Knoxville native you know who the Dirty Guv'nahs are and never miss a show. We love our Guv's!! Great band, great sound, and a great show!

Great performance by the Dirty Guv'nahs, played their newly released CD plus their old hits. the opening act was a very talented band. The only negative was when 3 people took our seats during intermission between bands and wouldn't give them back to us. All the ushers had left for the evening and the onsite cop wasn't familiar with the seating chart. We finally got a male bartender who was willing to confront "seat thieves" and verify that they were our assigned seats and show them where their seats were located.

One big party! The energy was unreal! A must see show as well as the opening act William Wild.

The Guv's were so Good Friday night that we went back to see them Saturday night and they did not disappoint!!! Good openers too.

What an amazing show! The Guv's rocked the Bijou like nobody's business. As with all acts at the Bijou the sounds was amazing.
