I was a bit nervous about how much I'd like The Supernaturalists, because I heard they were going to do some of Criss' signature illusions, and I'd prefer HIM to perform them. I was not disappointed. Every act was amazing in a different way. Johnny Dominguez did insane and hilarious magic with dogs, Banachek read the audiences mind, Chloe Crawford did crazy stuff with razor blades, Spencer Horsman performed his Water Torture Cell, Landon did amazing "grand illusions", Maestro and Fifi were hysterical in the opening of the show, and Adrian Vega turned four $1 to $100. But I must say, my favorite of them all, was Stefan Vanel, from Paris. There were no words spoken during his act, and that made it better. He just produced an insane amount of cards from his hands, with no sleeves on. Colors and sparkles all over the place, with a great song in the background. The audience was left speechless. I would go to this show a million times, Criss in it or not. He hosts the show on screen, but it really feels like he's there. Don't hold back from going just because he might not be in it, it's still an incredible experience. After a 10 minute intermission, it was Criss Angel's turn. After appearing on stage, he performed 6 AWESOME illusions. My favorites being Metamorphosis, and his version of a coin trick called "Explosion", which he performed in the middle of the audience. After the show, we all had the pleasure of meeting the entire cast (including Criss) in the lobby of the theater. I was almost dead last in line, but everyone was still excited and very nice when they greeted me. Even Criss let me speak for as long as I wanted, and everyone signed stuff, and took photos. It ended as the PERFECT night, and one that YOU won't ever forget!

Criss Angel wasn't there (not even via satellite). I saw the show advertised at Foxwoods, bought tickets through Ticketmaster, and it wasn't until I heard the show advertised on the radio that I found out CA wouldn't be there. They had a couple prerecorded introductions (audio only) but that was it. All that said, it was a pretty good show, all the magicians were impressive, however, we saw Criss Angel do no less than 4 of the exact same tricks last year at Foxwoods during his "Mindfreak" show.

Criss Angel had out done himself yet again with this spectacular traveling group of master illusionists, escape artists, close up magic and comedy fun! I have followed Criss since the beginning and when I heard about this, i had to check it out! As luck would have it, Criss himself was there in person on the night of my show and i got to watch the man himself in action. Even without Criss, the group is astounding and the illusions and escapes are off the charts! The only way to go is up in this show! I can't wait to see them again! It will only get better and better!

It was kind of cheesy, not sure why they are such a big deal. Would rather spend that money on a concert instead.

My husband and I went to see Criss Angel as part of our Christmas gift and it was worth it! I had no idea there would be so many other talents with him on stage. The characters feeling out the audience before hand was great. Their continued participation throughout the show for comedic effect was great. I thought it very sweet Criss had his mom with him and introduced her during the show. Some things really made me cringe as this is not fully "my thing" - the razor blade used - not for me. I really would have liked to meet everyone after the show for the full experience yet live an hour from the theater. It was worth the trip!

My son and I went to the show and had a great time! Even more impressive was that Criss Angel and the Supernaturalists (all of them) stayed after the show and signed autographs and took pictures with the fans!!!

first of all...there is no parking, unless you wanted to trudge 3 blocks up the hill, which is what we had to do. Second, we were waiting outside for almost an hour before they let us in. Third, the show itself was very good., although it started an hour late. I was very excited to get front row seats on the floor, however the stage was 5' up, and there was a speaker right in front of us. So there were a few acts we could not see, especially Chris Angel's final act...Maybe they should not have sold those 1st two rows...All in all, the show made up for the inconvenience.

I've seen Chriss Angel's TV show, specials and illusions on YouTube. His tricks were really, really impressive, so I was totally looking forward to this show!! The first 2/3 of the show were other 'illusionists'. I thought most of them seemed like grade D magicians. The 'humor' they attempted to use as part of their act was sophomoric. The tricks seemed to be drawn out, and to be honest, lost my attention a few times. They also had problems with the cameras, and you couldn't see some of the tricks, as they were too far away. Chriss Angel finally came on after the intermission, and did 2 'illusions'. One, where he cut a woman in half, seemed to just end in the middle of it. I wasn't sure if the trick was over. The show seemed to be thrown together quickly, and I must say, I would've rather been home on my couch at home. I was hugely disappointed.

Good show. Good entertainment. Very talented. Was not advised beforehand of obstructed view. Was not told about obstructed view. Could see stage ok. Some of the magic was close up so they had camera to show on two screens. That's fine. But because of ceiling beams we could not see screens or 25 percent of the show.

This was the worst show I have ever been to. It started almost 45 minutes late. The comedy portion of the magic was screechy and outdated and took up about 1/2 the show time. The actual magic was amateurish at best. There was nothing unique and different or unusual. The Chris Angel you see on TV is way better produced than this show. His final trick, I actually saw him leave the stage after he told us he would by covering his head and face for no apparent reason. The entire show seemed to be an advertisement for a better show in Las Vegas. Oh and don't forget to buy your merchandise and pay to have your merchandise signed on the way out!

I've been to a few live magic shows and this was the best I've ever seen. All the magicians are great and Criss Angel was on stage for a good amount of time and did some awesome tricks. They used people in the crowd a few times too. After the show all of the magicians, even criss meet with ever fan that waited after the show for pictures and autographs.

Read a few online complaints about Criss not even being in the show so we were worried. When the yannounced he would be there after intermission there was some hope.....and when he came out in a flash!!! there was a huge response!!!!!!!!!! What a blast! And he did the whole second half of the show. His personality was amazing. THEN we all got in line to shake hands with the whole cast and get autographs and pictures.... What a night!!!!!!!!!!!

The Supernaturalists perform first but there are nine of them so each person gets about 5-6 minutes, After intermission you see Chriss Angel do a very short set. You end up feeling that you saw too much comedy and not enough magic. Sort of like going to an expensive restaurant that serves small portions and you end up going home still hungry.

This show was awesome! It has illusionists, escape artists, mentalists and even some comedy! Each performer was amazing and very entertaining! We had seats on the aisle near the front and some of the performers did illusions right near us. Criss Angel was of course the highlight of the show!!!!! He performed after the intermission and was incredible!!! We even met Criss Angel and all the Supernaturalists after the show! It was a night that we will not forget!

If you like Criss Angel, then don't go to this show. Go to Vegas and see him. We bought these tickets for a family of 7 and ended up disappointed. The show was less then 2 hours and Criss performed about 3-4 allusions in about 20 minutes. He even messed up one with guessing a name. The artist were ok, best one wasn't Criss Angel. The tricks were ones we've seen many times over. So, not much of a wow factor.

I was very disappointed with this show. The first half was the Supernaturalists. Some of the acts were ok. There were two small screens up on the stage, but they weren't large enough to see what was going on in front. This show was so hyped up and everyone was excited to see Chriss Angel the second half of the show, but he only came out for about 22 min. He didn't do anything that was mind blowing. He said it would be like a Bruce Springsteen concert that he would be out all night. I wouldn't compare 22 min of him being on stage to a Bruce Springsteen concert. I've seen Chriss on TV before as the MindFreak and would have preferred to save my money and just stayed home and watch TV. So disappointed. Not worth the money I paid for tickets at all.

I was really pumped to see this show. We arrived at 6:45 for a 7:30 show. We continued to wait long after 7:30 just for the doors to the theater to open. Finally at 7:50 the doors opened to be seated. We then sat about another 15-20 minutes for the show to begin. The show was O.K. Each " supernaturalist " performed a Chris Angel trick which then brought us to a 10 minute intermission. Chris Angel came out for the second half of the show announcing that the " saw a person in half" trick could not be done due to safety concerns. He then did 3 mediocre tricks with a couple more done by the others. The show then ended 20 minutes earlier than stated. The total show time was about 90 minutes of action. I felt kinda of jaded. To bad.

I really wanted to love this show! The venue was painfully empty, which was embarrassing. I felt bad for the performers, but I also saw just too much from the balcony. There were many tells that were revealed. Maybe if I had been on the floor, it wouldn't have been as obvious. found the dogs the most entertaining part of the show, it should have been obvious that the rest was not very interesting. I would have liked to use my phone, not to take pics, but to do anything to find something to occupy my attention. I was so bummed.

I had no idea what I was in for when I sat down in my seats at the Akron Civic Theater to watch 9 illusionists and magicians from around the globe with Criss Angel scheduled to introduce all of them via live feed from Las Vegas! I was DEFINITELY not disappointed! As a matter of fact, although Criss Angel was not scheduled to be part of the show, he actually showed up & performed some magic / illusions himself, including the actual sawing a live woman in half on a large rectangular surface angled towards the audience! 2 members of the audience were chosen at random to come up & inspect the rectangular surface to assure its solid integrity. There was no denying that! All in all the show was SUPER SPECTACULAR and actually included comedy, which was a welcome addition to the show! Last but definitely not least, I have always enjoyed the music played during one of Criss Angel TV specials. This live show was no different and the DJ playing the music was absolutely superb in his choice of the music which went along with each of the 9 magician's acts! I would recommend this to anyone & everyone who has a fascination with magic & illusions! I am grateful Criss came to North Ohio to perform @ one of my 2 favorite venues in the Cleveland-Akron area!

Show was full of cool illusions. Some were silly...done in humor. Overall, what I expected. One note, however, several illusions done up front in audience so those with inexpensive seats had to watch on tv screens. This took away from the show for me.

Reviewers often seem to think Chris Angel was supposed to appear. But, there was nothing in the ads that should have made anyone think he would be present. These magicians are being presented by Chris Angel, as the best from around the world, in different forms of magic. So, I was not disappointed that Chris was not there. That was was what I expected. The audience in Devos Center was small-- only about 1/3 full. So, the small audience really detracts from the feeling of awe. Had the place been full, the audience reaction to the magic tricks would have been much more enthusiastic. The Great Meastro & Fifi were the comic relief, but were kind of hokey. They did do one great illusion, though. They probably should have concentrated more on illusions and less on jokes. Stefan Vanel "The Manipulator" was astounding. Don't have the faintest idea how he did his card manipulations. Spencer Horsman is a master escape artist, and he performed an escape that had almost killed him a week or so earlier. To me, the most amazing illusions were the cutting of a woman in half. There were two versions of this presented. The presentation in this show was a step above any other that I have seen. The 1st involved a box, but we could see the woman's entire body as she got into the box. This differs from other versions, where the woman gets into the box, but her torso is hidden by the sides of the box. So, this is really stepping up the game. (I don't know how they did this.) The 2nd woman cut in half was on a big table, and audience members came up to touch her top half and her legs, to verify that they were actually the real woman. Then, cut in half, her legs were pulled from her torso, and all limbs were moving. Then, a pair of torso-less legs came walking across the stage. These legs did not appear to be robots. They moved as smoothly as any normal person. This was a real top-notch illusion, stepping up the game beyond any that I've seen before. There were other amazing illusions involving dogs (large long-haired poodles), and other fantastic tricks. The lighting was excellent. The cost of the show was a bit expensive (about $95/person w/ fees and taxes). But, the cast was very large, and the equipment needed for this show was quite extensive. It could be argued that you cannot get a big magic show like this without paying for all the stuff that goes with it. Overall, I enjoyed the whole show, but thought the Meistro and Fifi act was too corny. The other problem was that the audience was too small to have the full experience that such a big show really demands. Not sure if this was a marketing problem, or if GR is not a big magic-loving town.

Our family purchased $1200.00 worth of tickets to attend as a group. The title and ticket were deceiving. Chriss Angel wasn't there in person. Instead, they connected with him via a live feed from Las Vegas (nice for him)!! He can sell tickets with the assumption that he will come to Cincinnati, but instead he decided to stay in Vegas!! The "other" magicians which he "presented from afar" were just ok. The mc's of the show were so cheesy that we felt like we were on a cruise ship watching one of the "has been" comedians. There were only 2 "Supernaturalists" that were worthwhile. The disappointment was felt not only among my family, but with others that we spoke with. One father brought his daughter there to see Chriss Angel for her 18th birthday. He was fuming mad when the 2nd act came and Chriss wasn't there.

This was a total ripoff. There were a number of performers, of decidedly mixed skill. A couple did amaze, but mostly it was just cheesy, fairly obvious tricks. Also, I have never seen such a poor crowd at any event in any Cincinnati venue. The Taft Theater seats 2500, and there could not have been 300 there. The "comic relief" pair came out before the show, and moved the cheap-seat people to nearer the front, adding to my feeling of having WAY over paid. Also, it is BILLED as the Criss Angel tour - he is not on it, and his video segments suggest he is live, but it is obviously taped. Never again anything magic, but Copperfield who blows me away with EVERY trick.

The show came to town Criss went on our local fox affiliate and said he would be preforming at the show. Halfway through he came on tv "live from vegas". Almost $200 before we parked. The show was ok. The lighting was pretty shotty. The illusionists there were pretty good. I can't bash them. It just wasn't what was advertised. I did some more research online AFTER the show. Apparently he does this all the time. He won't get anymore money out of me.

I was super excited to take my 10-year old to watch this show! I didn't mind paying more than I expected (about $150 for 2 less than ideal seats) because it my my birthday weekend and I thought it'd be nice to do something special like this. Well... was I mistaken! The theater was at least 2/3 empty on a Saturday night, which is never a good sign - at least we were able to move to the 2nd row :) We are huge America's Got Talent watchers, and I must say that I didn't see anything in this show that I hadn't seen on TV, which was disappointing. Chriss Angel is not there, but he shows up "live" (who knows?) for a quick, suspenseless trick - kinda "let me rush back to my million dollar Vegas show." The other weird thing is that it looks like they're not sure about who their audience is. There are 2 MC-like hosts who act like clowns, a little too much for adults. But, on the other hand, the female helpers and performers are dressed as in an S&M movie - in skimpy leather bikinis, acting in overly sexual moves. I'm not a prude and have pretty open conversations with my son, but even he's mentioned that they looked like strippers... Still, the kiddo enjoyed it, and that's what mattered on that occasion. Had I gone with another adult, I'd be pissed for spending that much money on less than entertaining magic. Had I paid half of what I paid, I'd probably be writing a better review :o)

Saw the Supernaturalists this weekend with my husband and daughters. Spent $292 on tickets for the show which started at 8:00 and ended about 9:45. Within that time was a 10 minute intermission and 15-20 minutes of a comedy duo that really added nothing to the show. Total, there was about 1:15 minutes of magic or about 8-10 illusions/tricks. The magic that was performed was good, but not worth $292 for 4 people!

The show was poorly attended and now I know why. For a date night out should have gone to a movie and taco bell.. End result would have been the same. Chris angels prerecorded 'live feeds' from LV was retarded and the screens were way to small for the venue! The stage show was silly not funny. I was thanking my lucky stars we didnt bring our kids as at some points during the show i thought the girls were going to start stripping... Playboy Bunnies vs Chip 'n Dales. It's sad that performers with such potential were allowed to to put on second rate show I was ready to leave during the intermission.

The production was very amateurish. Some of the illusions were great, but others were only average. The main objection was the supposed comedy interspersed with the illusions. It was so bad that we were actually embarrassed for the performers and it definitely distracted from the magicians. The performance would have been much better if it simply let the illusionists do their "magic".

Very poorly attended due to lack of promoting The Supernaturalists, and people don't know what they missed. So much better seeing their acts in person vs. on TV. More like a magic variety show with clips of Criss Angel peppered throughout the show to introduce the artists and build suspense. It was a very entertaining show with some good acts, but mush of the showmanship was lacking. It came off very hokey at times. The show had a lot of open seats. When we arrived, they switched out our tickets for row J tickets on the main floor (from row O on the 2nd balcony). Nice upgrade and great seats.

My seats were toward the back of the theater and it was hard to see many of the tricks. There was lots of lights and fanfare, but the tricks were pretty much routine. Criss Angel was supposedly being broadcast live from Las Vegas but it was obviously pre-taped.

The show was very amateurish. For the price I paid to see it, I expected something more. There were no spectacular moments, or surprises. I found myself very bored. The couple sitting next me felt the same. They didn't bother coming back after intermission.

Fantastic show! Highly recommend this show to anyone who loves magic! Please note: Chris Angel is not part of the show but does appear in a video stream, he produced the show, and many of his illusions are used by other magicians he trained. Definitely a five star performance! A must see!

All of the members of this team were just awesome. Had great seats and could not see the trickery. The mentalist was great. Just wanted to believe it in all like a child in wonder. I could have done without the comedic relief.
