Earth, Wind & Fire and CHIC ft. Nile Rodgers

It was an incredible show! Earth, Wind & Fire has never been better! I'm already looking forward to the next concert!

I saw this show on Thursday 8/17 in Nashville and just could not get enough, so I drove to Alpharetta on Saturday to see it again! It was well worth the trip! So many hits from these guys it is unbelievable!

Nile Rodgers opened up and he put on a great show. I had no idea he had written all those songs. It was great! OMG! Earth, Wind and Fire...I don't know where to start. From beginning to end the show was a 10. The audience was on fire and I didn't sit down the entire time. When I left I was a sweaty mess as if I had performed. It was amazing-the absolute best concert I've ever attended.

Amazing concert!! Earth, Wind & Fire and CHIC ft. Nile Rodgers show was the BEST I've seen in a long time...at the end of the show, the crowd applauded cheered for about 10 minutes. Then Earth, Wind & Fire came back out on stage and played 3 more songs. AMAZING SHOW

Nile Rodgers and Earth, Wind and Fire were both amazing. What a show!! We were dancing the whole time. The music brought back a lot of fun memories.

The show was awesome, Chic and Earth Wind and Fire took me back to high school, the arena is clean and well organized, only complant is the seating space.

Great performance by both groups. Third time we saw EWF and enjoyed them every time!

Very good concert started off with Chic Niles Rodgers they played some old school dance grooves that got things started nice. Then EW & F came on and played just about all their hits a wonderful concert!

What a show! Chic and Nile Rogers open a fantastic evening of great music and dancing on the spot.

I probably only sat down about 10 mins the whole concert! First time I saw EW&F was 1982 and they are STILL just as amazing in 2017!!!!! I wish I could see it all again. Nile Rogers and Chic were great also! Putting these two groups together was a brilliant idea! You will do nothing but sing (and dance 4 some) the whole time hearing such great songs from both groups. I called my daughter the next morning to tell her to get tickets now for when they get to the NJ/NY area in August. Anyone who has never seen EWF is missing ALOT!!!!

EWF were amazing! They're singing, music, instrumental prowess, staging, light display was the perfect back drop to the special songs being presented from my childhood,high school & college , and special events. It was a tapestry of my life and unforgettable ! I saw the concert and my sister and I kept on dancing and singing . It ranked right up there as one of the best concerts. Nile Rodgers and Chic was a surprise and like a cherry on top of a cupcake The combination of Earth Wind and Fire and Nile Rodgers and Chic packed a powerful punch and released some special memories from my past. Thank you Earth Wind and Fire!!!!

OMG!! This concert was the bomb!! I had not seen Chic before let me tell you they did NOT DISAPPOINT!! Great performance vocals on point!!! Earth Wind and Fire... first let me say I had seen them previously about 20 years ago they have not lost a thing!! Fantastic performance great music and overall the best concert I've been to this year. Was on my feet the whole time singing and grooving.

Chic was hands down one of the best opening acts if you know 80s songs and maybe one very recent Grammy song. Nile Rogers is a genius. I waa wondering how Earth, Wind and Fire could top them but they didn't need to. The energy they put in all the songs was amazing. They sang almost all their hits, especially off the Gratitude album. I would definitely see both groups again.

Chic started the crowd off and Earth Wind and Fire took the stage an hour and a half later. They was fantastic as usual and their outfits were sharp. Best concert ever.

This was an excellent concert!. Both acts put on a awesome performance. Its too bad attendance was surprisingly low but it worked out great for me thanks to the hospitality of the venue - Capital One Arena. Due to the sparse attendance they upgraded my seats so I ended up with great seats. Its just too bad the DC Metro subway stops at 11:30 so I could have stayed for the entire show. Two legendary Groups - A Great Pairing!

The "showmanship" each artist displayed went far beyond expectation! Such a beautiful thing to look out in the audience and see such a diverse crowd partying...but that's what GOOD MUSIC DOES! This venue is my new favorite because there are different food sites on each side. The parking was seamless because traffic went in several directions which alleviated "bottlenecks".

Wonderful and excellent performsnce by EWF. Philip Bailey's voice was lacking nothing. Chic was amazing also. Brought back wonderful disco memories.

My husband was very happy with his birthday present. EW&F did an incredible job and it was a great concert. CHIC was okay but it seemed very long. we were anxious to hear EW&F play. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

My husband and I enjoyed the performance that Earth, Wind & Fire and Chic feat. Nile Rodgers brought to the stage. We will definitely see them again.

Fantastic performance!!!! Had us dancing & singing along the entire show! These guys have been performing for decades and still deliver an energetic show.

This was my first time ever seeing the Elements. And it was well worth the wait, Earth, Wind, and Fire has been a iconic figure for years. The light show was amazing and the venue made the moment.

Earth, Wind & Fire is my favorite singing group. The show simply amazing.

Nile Rodgers and Chic were all that I was hoping for. Nile Rodgers and Chic and Earth, Wind and Fire was an awesome concert. Very upbeat. The entire audience was standing, dancing and singing through out the entire show for both groups.

Chic ft. Nile Rodgers was good, they played their songs and some songs Nile wrote for other groups. The mix keep the sold out audience on their feet. Earth, Wind & Fire! Well they came on stage and just started jamming, the energy from the band was high and the audience just went wild. The sold out show was excellent, that was my first time to Verizon Amphitheatre, a great place to watch a show. Chic was on stage for 1 hour, EWF was on for 2.5 hours. EWF played their HITS, the audience got their money worth!

Time I see earth wind and fire it seems to get better and better every time. Every time they come to my area I will always go see them if I can.

Great experience, so glad I went. Ther is nothing like old school music and the bands.

The atmosphere was too lit! Everyone should try to see this tour when it come to or near your city! The performances was great by both groups and the stage lights and visual were awesome by Earth, Wind, & Fire!

Amazing these older musicians are still very relevant. I would never have known 4 of the members are 66 years old. High energy, amazing show and hope to see them again if they are willing next year! Great to see lead singer of EW&F develop his son.

Never heard of opening band but they were very good. I LOVE EARTH WIND & FIRE and have since the 70's. They are the best and I think all of them are seriously just good people.

This was an outstanding event. We were on our feet during most of the show. Chic took it to another level. Earth Wind & Fire has no equal. Worth every dime. Don't miss their encore.

Absolutely loved this show. Reminiscent of an old school , party all night concert. You can't just sit and listen to their music. You have to get up and dance the night away. It was a night well spent.

This show is a MUST see! If your budget permits, I highly recommend the Nile Rodgers experience package. There was a Q&A with him as he told stories about working with Miles Davis, Prince, Madonna and Bruno Mars (stay tuned). He also invited us on-stage to dance with the band during Good Times, and another meet & greet and photo op with him and the full band after their set. As for Earth, Wind & Fire - they never disappoint. With flawless song execution, a horn line that will make you wish you'd stuck with your music lessons as a kid, and a list of dance hits that just kept coming. With both acts be prepared to be on your feet and singing along at the top of your lungs the entire time.

The concert was an absolute love fest!! I was on my feet dancing and singing for the entire event! Everyone was loving and friendly to each other. Experience of a lifetime!!

First I'd like to send prayers to Nile Rogers who became ill and did not perform at the venue in Canada. We were blessed to see your performance and we wish you well. You did a superb job. EWF was fantastic but I knew that they would be. I've attended the majority of their performances but the set list was different. Way better. They had the place rocking and encouraged all to sing along. They returned to the stage and did a 2 song encore. I didn't want them to leave. Great time.

These guys get better with age. The whole show was just fun, full of great music.

Exciting & explosive!! Best way to describe the "2054" Concert Tour with EARTH WIND & FIRE  and CHIC  concert last night (8/9/17) @Capital One center in DC. The legendary @NilesRodgers' performance was phenomenal. Kept us dancing on our feet to "GET LUCKY, Good Times, LeFreak, Everybody Dance, I Want Your Love, etc. EWF's performance was reminiscent of their CapitalCentre concerts w/the rotating piano (Larry Dunn) and Verdine being levitated. The video playing past concert clips with Maurice White with Philip, Ralph & Verdine on the colossal screen stage backdrop set the tone for the elements and audience.  Their concert at the new MGM in 2/17 was good but this performance SURPASSED it!! Every band member and singer showed up and OUT --- on their A game -  horn section,  Gary, Bobby, Reggie Young; guitar players (Morris and Serg), Drummer Jon Paris, esteemed MD Myron McKinley, and the newer essential elements David Whitworth & Philip Doron Bailey.  The original elements Philip, Ralph, and the bad azz bassist Verdine - did what they do best - "Be Ever Wonderful" singing everything to "Keep your head to the sky" a0nd TURNED IT OUT!! #stilldancing #singing4ever

As a kid, I grew up on this music and as a treat to myself, I could not have picked a better gift. The son sings right along with Philip and it was just beautiful and a blessing to witness. Definitely was a packed house and would do it again. Worth every penny plus. Even my darling was grooving so much that he thanked me for picking this show. Love , love , loved it

Hands down the best concert ever!!! Nile ROdger held hi sown and Earth Wind & Fire put on a show that I'll never forget. When your 8 year old Honor Student's favorite group EW&F comes to town, you take her to groove with them.

The show was really nice, if you truly love EWF you will be singing and/or dancing the entire show. I do recommend 4u2c

Earth Wind and Fire was awesome. They just keep getting better and better. Chic was a great opening act. Nile Rodgers was so interactive with the crowd. We had fantastic seats up front. EWF is my all time favorite band. Can't wait to see them again!

The concert itself was amazing. Earth, Wind and Fire was energetic and incredible. Nile Rodgers and Chic complemented EWF. My husband and I danced for hours. The VIP experience, not so good. I don't see the value add-no access for food or concert merchandise, over priced beverages for three hours.

We were thrilled with CHIC and Earth, Wind & Fire. Both bands were flawless in their performances. Everyone was on their feet the entire show!

What an awesome show from start to finish!! High energy with huge screens that were clear as a bell so you could see the band from the nosebleeds. They sang popular hits and Philip can still hit the high note! CHIC with Nile Rodgers was a great surprise! They can popular hits by CHIC and also hit songs Nile had with other artists. Just a great show all around. Don't miss them if they come to your town.

Chic was fantastic. Sang a great variety of songs. Kudos for starting before the scheduled time of 8:00. So appreciative of that. Didn't waste time entertaining the crowd. EWF was good. They always put on a great show from beginning to end but the Maurice songs his voice could not be duplicated, which was sad. They tried though. It would have been best to play a video of him singing the song instead. I do appreciate the fact that they gave a beautiful tribute of him by showing clips of him during some of the songs. Brought tears to my eyes. He was EWF and without him, it hasn't been the same. Thank you Verdeen, Philip and the other original member for continuing to play and keep his memory alive. The horn section was always the best!

Old School Superstars! They sing, they play instruments, they dance...total ENTERTAINMENT! Beautiful backgrounds & lighting effects! WOW! So much FUN!

Always wanted to see Earth Wind and Fire, one of the most amazing concert I've ever been to

EW&F and Chic ft Nile Rodgers blew us away! They played their hit songs and had the crowd on their feet dancing and cheering!

Being 48 years old my earliest memory of Chic was "Le Freak" which to me is one of the greatest songs ever, but what I didn't realize was how prolific Nile Rodgers songwriting and producing credits reach. Opening up for EWF gave him roughly 45 minutes to show off his biggest hits and not just the ones with Chic. Everybody Dance, I Want Your Love, He's the Greatest Dancer and of course Le Freak were played, but then he said because he's not headlining he's only playing his hits and moved on to all time favorites he wrote and produced with Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, David Bowie and Pharrell Williams. Classics like I'm Coming Out, Upside Down, Good Times, Let's Dance made me realize I was listening and watching a living legend only to learn that Nile has been fighting an aggressive cancer for the last six years. The song Get Lucky has a new meaning now that he is cancer free! A funny part of the show happened when he said thanks to Kool and the Gang, but he was opening for Earth Wind and Fire. I'm sure everyone thought he was joking, but when he said, "Just shoot me" we all chuckled and moved on to the next hit. The whole band included two female singers, sax, trumpet, guitar, bass, drums and two keyboardists. The band was super tight and sounded great although I would have enjoyed a touch more of the horns in the mix. A special spotlight was given to Kimberly Davis who has a Billboard hit at this time called, My Fire. Earth Wind and Fire opened with an extended introduction to Shining Star with their slew of super hits including Getaway, Sing A Song, Serpentine Fire, September, Boogie Wonderland and Let's Groove. The soul was unleashed with slower tempo songs such as Can't Hide Love, Devotion, Keep Your Head to the Sky, That's the Way of the World, After the Love Has Gone and of course Reasons where the incomparable Philip Bailey reached stratospheric high notes that are just can be only described as mesmerizing, beautiful and unbelievable. Mr. Bailey's son was also on hand singing, dancing and lending his hand on percussion. If you've never seen them live, now is the time. You won't see a better line up than Chic and EWF.

I saw EWF in the 70's and they were as good today as they were then. Of course, Maurice White cannot be replaced (there are only 3 original members left) but all are good in their own rite. THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME! Most people standing from start to finish and it was a Boogie Wonderland!

This was a great concert that brought back memories of the 70's and disco era. I loved all of the music. Nile Rodgers still got it going on and is a blessed man. EWF what can I say. One of the all time great bands and the music still has meaning and has stood the test of time.

I was not expecting anything this fun at all. The vocals and instruments were amazing. They still got it in every way. It was a lively upbeat show. Everybody was on their feet for the whole show. The big screens were fantastic.It seemed like you were in the front row.

Danced from the opening act on! Didn't realize how many, ALL songs I knew! Was surprised at my teens reactions. Was they're idea to attend.

Ranks up there as one of the best concerts that (35 years of attending concerts) I have ever been to!!!! They took me back to 1978! Sounded just like I remember them, even though I know more than 2/3 of the band are "replacements". Awesome sound, special effects! As I looked around the arena, I noticed the entire crowd was dancing to the music! I have never seen this! Even when I've been at multiple Bruce Springsteen concerts! So glad I got these tickets!

The group was fantastic. Lot's of good memories for me. I admire them touring after loosing Maurice. The 3 men still have it all and all the rest of the group fits in well. Unforgettable and Awesome.
