Vaneese Thomas

Vaneese gave a very stirring and soulful performance.Her voice is simply amazing. She gave an in depth look at the women of blues who blazed a trail for those who followed in their foot steps. Not only was the concert entertaining it was educational as well. I learned things about those artist I never knew before. Sister Carla came on stage and showed us what made her such a great performer with Stax. Her vocals were on point. Seeing the two of them together on stage would have made Rufus proud. I will definitely go back and see her again when she comes to Memphis.

She is a versatile artist with a good stage humor and a lot of talent.

Great show for all and Carla was such a special guest so wonderful!!
