Bill Graham Civic was an incredible venue to see the Peppers in. It was an up close and personal concert and they played all their greatest hits. We sat in the general seating upstairs and it was a great view. Not crowded, even the food and beer lines were short. I was pleasantly surprised that the food/drinks were so inexpensive. We're used to paying $14 for a beer at Levi Stadium or SAP Center. We're definitely going to look for more events at this venue.

The show was awesome, and they were right on time with the change of each act, etc. However in our nose-bleed seats in the upper deck, the sound was very poor. Lots of echo and not very good sound in general. Then there was Metallica, and they apparently cranked up the volume for this band all the way to 11 or higher. At that point we had to leave, which kinda sucked too.

Great bands for a great cause. Proceeds to go to TPERF Helping those impacted by the Northern California wildfires & a thank you to the first responders & support personnel. Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Dead & Company, G Eazy, Rapael Saadiq, Rancid!!! Met a couple impacted by the fire from Forestville though we were strangers we became neighbors. Many of those impacted are in rural areas and a reminder how fast a wildfire can destroy homes & lives God Bless all those who struggled & struggle after the fires to our North & South. Also our hearts go out to hurricane, flood & earthquake victims. The future s uncertain & the end is always near & yet we smile through our heartache & uncertainty & rage against powerful forces & hope to live to see another day.

Sound from top View was not very good. Metallica is my favorite band, and I've always been obsessed with them. This was my first time seeing them live, and it wasn't what I expected. The sound was not very good from the View level, and I wish I could hear everything like the guitars, and especially the guitar solos, which were unhearable. Not worth the money if this is the typical Metallica show, which I don't think it is, but it was my first time seeing them, and I'm a bit disappointed.

Went to the BAND Together concert to raise money for the North Bay fire victims. Had seats in Section 302 on the 1st row. 1st thing that struck me was how far the stage was away from us. They had big screens, so OK I can live with that. The worst thing is I hear this pronounced echo from the other side of the stadium when performers would sing. Not sure if this is always an issue at AT&T? I thought if I move to the middle, it would eliminate the echo and viola it did! So get a seat in the middle upper deck and some purple stationary light shining into the crowd that was so blinding you could not even look at the stage without difficulty. So in a nutshell, sound and lighting was a disaster at least in some seats. .

My husband and I wanted to see Dave Matthews and Metallica. Enough that I thought it was worth $350 for general admission seating. WRONG!!!! We arrived before Dave took the stage, entered the park with minimal wait only to be told there was a line to get wristbands for GA. One line. 500 people in it. Needless to say, by the time I got to the end of the line Dave was finishing his set and there were no wristbands to be had. So my husband who was not in line with me (I thought he should find a place to enjoy the show) would not be entering with me into the GA section. Worst planned event I have ever been to. I missed seeing Dave Matthews and that ruined the evening for me. At least the $350+ I paid for two useless tickets went to a good cause

Besides wanting to help the cause, Dead and Co. was the main reason for my attendance. I have seen the Grateful Dead countless times (over a hundred) since my first show at the Portland Oregon Paramount Theatre in 1976. I had never seen the latest re-incarnation and found it quite nice. Having sung those songs with 3 of the current members for 40 years, obviously my musical view is biased. It was the only portion of the event that I removed my hearing protection devices for. That being said, I admire everybody who participated in the event, except for: Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone and Barry Bonds. Both were horrific choices, embarrassments to their professions, and shouldn't have even been seriously considered to be speaking. The first act, was nice, jazzy, relaxing, warm. I was not familiar with them and found it quite nice. Rancid was... Well their name is very appropriate, I don't really relate to that type of music, I actually enjoyed a couple of their songs, they were honestly trying to make things better for the victims, and quite good at what they do, if that's your thing. G-Easy was Rap, again, NOT MY FAVORITE, again good at what they do, again I actually enjoyed a couple of tunes, especially the cute little rhyme about TRUMP!!! The only performers (I heard) that took time to thank all of the other performers by name!!! Dave Mathews was fine, I had never seen him preform before and had wanted to. I hear that Dave is much better with his full band then the Duo playing the event! Metallica rocked the house!!! Again, not my style, I was surprised how many of their songs that I knew. They were tight, loud, talented, I had heard that they are a great live show, and they are. They were obviously most of the crowds favorite, except for a large contingent of Dead Heads. You all know who you are, it was wonderful to see you all again!

We had a great time, I had bought regular seating but when we went to stretch our legs right after Dave Matthew's, we were approached by 2 woman whom gave us wrist bands that allowed us on the field. Problem was there are only 2 aisle's to get to field level so it took forever to get down there. BUT, once we did, the Dead and John Mayer were playing and then Metallica! The show itself was fantastic. For some reason there were towers that were placed around the infield with blue lights that would become fixed on people in lower reserve seating making the viewing extremely annoying. I was thankful to have a hat on that I was able to pull the brim down and block out the blue light that was fixed on me for 90% of the show. Great lineup and music!!!

The bands were all good with my personal favorite "Dead and Co" featuring John Mayer and Bob Weir....Short sets ...but required for a 5 hr show...It seems like the event was only about 60% sold out, and many people arrived ~ 8pm and later...concessions and ushers seemed "third string"...and I NEVER saw my friend properly seated immediately next to me (Usher told him "his seat was elsewhere" ???) and getting what I wanted/ordered to eat or drink was problematical ! Weather was dry and not cold, until after the concert ended....I supported the cause for which this concert was given...but would have been less understanding about the issues, if this was not the case...

Went to the Band Together Bay Area show with my 11 year old for a worthy cause and good music. I bought an Impark parking pass for Lot 30 at Pier 30 prior to the show for $14. The lot was just a little over half a mile from the venue and a straight shot on the Embarcadero. The weather was perfect and the venue was beautiful. It was the first time for us to visit AT&T Park. It was an eclectic group of musicians and all were amazing. I went mainly for Dave & Tim but the magical moment for me was when Dead & Company hit the stage. It was one long jam seguing into each song that lasted almost an hour. Amazingly they fit 6 songs into the set. Metallica killed it during their time on stage. It felt like a blast from the past and man they were in the zone! Since the parking was for an "event" the lot gives you an hour after the show to leave the lot. My pass was for 4-11pm and I had to leave the lot by midnight without incurring extra fees or being towed. I recommend parking close to the entrance due to a review that said their car was broken into including a photo of the shattered window. The freeway was only a few blocks away and easy to find. It was the perfect night in the city.

I have nothing but great respect for every artist that took the time to play at this event. I have become a bigger fan of all. Almost everyone in the lineup had ties to the Bay Area. Knowing that when the people in their backyard had suffered greatly from the devastating fires, they gave back to their community by playing at this benefit. That s the epitome of kindness in humanity. A huge ovation for the artists!! And what wonderful artists they all were. The show s lineup in order: Raphael Saadiq, Rancid, G-Easy, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Dead & Company, and Metallica. Sprinkle in a guest appearances from Buster Posey, Joe Montana, Renel Brooks Moon, Natalie Coughlin, Barry Bonds, First Reponders, and victims of the fire...it was truly a night to remember! Each artist and guest appearance spread messages of love, hope, and faith and that together, we can get through any tragedy. I feel so honored to have been in attendance to such a uplifting and entertaining event. Doing good and feeling good doing it. Thanks for a great show!

To be honest, I'm going to say this right off the bat... G-eazy was HUGE disappointment. No one else made this benefit concert political , but him. But he didn't stop there, he was very rude , and used way too much vulgar language to speak about the President. I mean there were a lot of families in the audience, and this was not the time not the place dude. But as always! Metallica rocked!!!!!! The ballpark started to get packed of course once it was Metallica's turn to perform ! They've still got it! Love them !!! I'm so happy that all of the money went to the fire victims !

We went to see Dead & Company buy loved Metallica. This concert made 8 Dead shows for us this year. Dead & Company were about to tour on the East coast and I thought it really showed Bay Area support for them to play for a good cause. Oteil even cancelled a show in New York city that night to play and support this worthy cause. When the Dead were playing there was a couple hundred people down on the field dancing in a big area all together. Lovin' life. It was my first time at this venue and I will definitely go there again. Liked the first two acts but not a big rap fan. Koudos go to the stage crews who kept the vibe going by breaking down and setting up the next band in only 10 minutes..UNBELIEVABLE. Weather..GREAT. Sound GREAT..The people of the Bay Area coming together for a night of Music and a Cause to help the victims of this tragedy...Priceless. Rode the Larkspur ferry right to the stadium and back. My father-in-law and I had a wonderful time in the GA field standing area. Music was amazing and Metallica blew our hair back (first time seeing them electric!). The respect and appreciation paid to first responders and victims of the North Bay Fires was palatable and healing. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the sound mix for Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds (who was the act I was most excited for). You could barely hear Dave's guitar at all for the entire set. I thought maybe it was where we were standing and when I watched it as televised on YouTube the next morning, the mix was the same (very difficult to hear Dave). That was my only disappointment -- otherwise -- GREAT SHOW!!!

Many thanks to all of the performers and Bands, most notably, Rafael Saadiq, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Dead & Company (feat. John Mayer), and of course, Metallica.
