Gary Gulman is a true comedic genius. If you enjoy the likes of Louis CK, and Sarah Silverman, you'll really enjoy his live standup show. His on the road routine is a bit darker and edgier than his more mainstream recorded work.

Gary is hilarious! We loved every minute of the show! He was up there over an hour and a half and it was laugh out loud/belly chuckle funny!!! We drove about an hour to see him and it was well worth it. He stayed afterwards taking photos and shaking hands, very personable. Great guy!

Gary Gulman is at the top of the stand up comedy world. He can play much, much bigger venues and you will soon have to pay big bucks to see him. He is a thinking person's comedian...there is little swearing and no bodily function humor. He is funny and will make you laugh at his view of the world around us.

I went to see Gary Gulman on his 'It's about time' tour and it was phenomenal. Two comics went on before him and they were pretty funny, but Gary was hilarious. He told all new jokes and it was constantly great. No lulls in the performance and he performed for over an hour straight. He then took pictures with everyone because it's clear he loves his fans. I highly recommend seeing him.

Gary Gulman never fails, but this performance was better than the rest because he played for a full hour (at least). The host and the opening act were both excellent as well. I can't wait until he does another tour or comes back to NYC.

Gary never fails me with his sets, man. His routine always examines and let's you recognize some of the casual absurdities in the most minute and universal things we all do or have done at some point throughout our lives - all in the most hilarious and entertaining way! So much fun.

I'm a big Gary Gulman fan, so I was beyond excited to see his show in Boston. Unfortunately, most of his jokes were repeats I had heard before either on his Netflix shows, his Boyish Man DVD, and his show in Philadelphia two years ago. If you've never seen him before, the show will be great, but it will be disappointing if you know his material.

Gary Gulman puts on an amazing performance. His comedic artististry is inviting and entertaining. You are no longer an audaudience but rather a group of friends gathering for laughter. Be sure to use the restrooms before the beginning of his performance because you won't want to leave you seat. Loved the show!!!

I brought 8 people to see Gary at the Wilbur on Saturday. I can't believe he went over two hours without a break. The time flew by. Gary's comedy captures both the realities and memories of the 30-55 year old age group. His Trader Joe's story is hilarious, as is his story about Greek Yogurt. What's best is that he can laugh at himsel. His ethnic humor charms the hearts of the World of Nations; anyone offended simply doesn't have a sense of humor. A great night. Don't be surprised if the cost of his tickets skyrocket in the year to come. See him now!

I loved Gary Gulman when I saw him on Last comic standing and the few times I saw him on TV or online after that. His routine at Wilbur Theatre was awful. spent the 1st 20 minutes talking about Bill Gates? Really? I went with 5 other people and we walked out of the show.

Gary Gulman was the funniest most lovable comic I have seen. He had perfect timing, charisma and is a great writer. The use of his somber, sometimes even sad, autobiographical material gave his show depth and universal resonance. He is a genius.

Gary Gulman is funny - period. He doesn't swear and he's not raunchy. He uses big vocabulary words throughout his act that make you think. He tells stories about himself that you can relate to. He talks about his "depresh" candidly and makes fun of himself in the most endearing way. Go see this tall drink of water. You will not be disappointed.

My first ever "live" standup comedy show by a seasoned comedian! Sooo glad Gary Gulman was a native MA person originally, educated at BC, familiar with the Newton Centre area, hence his jokes' reference to the extremely busy Newton Centre, MA Starbucks store he used to work as a barista, and the local, famous Newton South High School (which has an extremely rigorous academic standard and intelligent student population), whom Gary again referenced in his joke that he" was once passed up as the Starbucks Shift Manager to a 17 year old Newton South High School student named Brendan!"--even though Gary graduated from Boston College with an Accountant degree(!) The Chevalier Theatre was very clean, updated, had plenty of friendly staff who did security checks, ushers, etc. Free street parking was a plus too.

We were looking forward to seeing this comedian on New Year's eve as we heard him on SiriusXM and his skits were funny: grape vs grapefruit and history of cookies. Boy, were we in for a huge disappointment. After an hour into the show and where I think I laughed once, I turned to my wife who had fallen asleep and asked her if we should leave, which she agreed. We see a lot of comedians every year and Gary was by far the worst.

This show was awesome! I loved all of the comedians, except Dom was not very good. It seemed like something was wrong with him (sick/not well). But Christine, Bobby and Gary were amazing- so funny! Even Matty was wearing a smile and seemed to be enjoying himself. And the cause was amazing- GBFB does incredible work and I was happy to support them!

This was my second time seeing Gary Gulman and I had an absolute blast! His set was a mixture of various bits he has refined over the years with jokes from specials and late night appearances, but they were still hilarious due to his unique observational humor and clever wordplay. Since he's from the area, he also does a great job of integrating local humor into the set with commentary on Dunkin Donuts and local personalities. What I love most of all is that he takes time after the show to meet with fans. I had tweeted with him several times prior to the show, and he was kind enough to remember me and chat with me before getting a picture with me and my fiance (who is a huge fan of his). Looking forward to seeing him again next time he's in town!

Gary Gulman is one of my favorite comedians, but this was a somewhat dull performance by him. He seemed unusually melancholy, more downtrodden than typical. It was bringing me down, and the show passed by slowly. Despite that, I laughed hard at several points during the show, especially his closing routine on state abbreviations. My parents hadn't seen him before and totally loved it. The opening act Dan Smith was rated R, which was a big mismatch with Gary's more-or-less PG family-level comedy, had to leave with the kids until that act was over. Better to have the opening act and the headliner be similar rating for the audience.

I'm a fan of Gary Gulman and loved this show, but it was far more introspective and low-key than his television specials. He lingered long on themes of Jewishness, insecurity, and childhood trauma - imagine Woody Allen speaking with Steven Wright's voice coming out of a 6'6" body. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but those expecting the big smiles and somewhat higher energy of his Netflix specials may be disappointed. The opening act was quite enjoyable, will keep an eye out for Dan Smith next time he is in town.

My wife and I have been lucky enough to see Gary at the Comedy Cellar many times, but we'd never seen him perform for more than 20 minutes. So seeing his one-man show at Gramercy was a treat! My mom loved him, too, and said that he reminded her of someone she dated in 1954: Mort Saul! After the show, Gary went to the lobby and hung out with anyone who wanted to shake his hand, take a photo with him, or just give him a hug. He is one of the funniest comics I've seen, and he's such a mensch! I was happy to see so much material that was new to me, despite seeing him perform many times before.

This is the third or fourth time I've seen Gary Gulman perform. His humor is smart. He tells a story, veers off on some tangent, then gets right back on track. When he performs in the Boston area, he adds lots of local references. His act is not filthy like a lot of other comics, and I appreciate him for that. His show is always enjoyable, and I highly recommend seeing him.

This is the third or fourth time I've seen Gary in Boston. He's wicked funny and I love all the local humor. I was glad to know that I'm not the only one confused about the change of NBC to channel 7 (from channel 4). His bit on the two letter abbreviations for the states was hysterical. A couple of the bits were repeats from a past show but that's to be expected. Overall, he's a funny, funny guy and that's why we'll keep going to his shows.

He has to be the funniest and most inventive comic I have seen and to date, I have seen a lot. He never repeats any past material and is always current, plus he did a lot of Boston area humor for the local audience which just killed. The set on the state abbreviations was just genius. I wish he would perform more in Boston as I would attend every show. Also, his warm-up comedian was great.
