STG brought down the house that Thursday night! Played for a great amount of time, the sound was excellent, and the lighting was phenomenal. Our group very much enjoyed the performance and were thrilled to attend.

This was the first time seeing them play with their original front woman Carah Faye Charnow and it really made a big difference. She knows how to work the stage and interact with the fans. They sound even better live then they do on recordings and it's not often I say that. A CREEP kept grabbing Carah's hand and kissing it and even got onstage and kissed her in the middle of a song and she kept her cool. It's a major dance party. The crowd will go nuts when they play Le Disko and Don't Cry Out so prepare. If you have not seen then live yet, do it!

Ok, I really like their music, but was kind of unsure what they would sound like live...So glad I went...It was AWESOME!!! Carah brought new life to older songs like Ghost Town and Ricochet! Don't miss out!

First time visiting Brighton Music Hall and it's a spacious venu with only 1 floor. The right side of the venu has taped down areas for walking room. It helps the flow of traffic to those wanting to play pool, visit the bar in the back or go to the restrooms. Definitely a great idea. Bar in the front on and one in the back, perfect!! I've always wanted to see Shiny Toy Guns live and after 10 years it was a moment of truth. The opening group was good and they got me moving a bit with some head bobbing. Showed them some love! I went solo to this show as this was something I wouldn't miss. I met an awesome group of people in the front right side of the stage. We danced, sung and raged like there was no tomorrow. We even started chanting for an encore and Shiny Toy Guns came back on stage! They closed the show with Major Tom (Coming Home) and I lost my mind from there!!!! People who I met were from NH and RI. I was only 20 minutes away from this awesome night. I'm not sure if they did a meet and greet, but I hope to meet them with a photo some day! -Peace out, till next time!

Waited a long time to see the Shiny Toy Guns back in So FL. With Carah Faye as well. They did not disappoint. Tremendous energy from the foursome from the start, an full throttle set with some nice change-ups thrown in. Carah is a born front person, and Chad keeps things in check. All in all, the 4 piece was a cohesive unit churning out magestic rock and bouncy roll. LOVED IT.

I've been to the Brighton Music Hall a few times back when it was Harper's Ferry. It's a great little venue, bars in three locations and lots of standing room all around the stage. The show itself was really impressive, the soundsystem and techs at BMH are great. The first two acts before the Shiny Toy Guns were pretty awesome, they keeping the place moving and geared up. The Shiny Toy Guns themselves were amazing! They had a fantastic set and played everything you would've wanted them to and them some! They had a lot of newer stuff from their third album, but also songs I haven't heard in awhile. After the show all the band members came down to the floor to sign autographs, take pictures, and just vibe with their fans. They're all really nice and down-to-Earth, they also talked with me for a bit until the bar closed and I had to leave. If you ever have the chance to see the Shiny Toy Guns, wherever it is, whenever it is, take it. I saw them in a hurricane! You won't be disappointed.

I've been a fan of Shiny Toy Guns for four years now, and this was the 6th time I've seen them in concert. I have to say that this was by far the best show I've seen of theirs yet! They're so dedicated to their fans that they spent over an hour taking pictures, signing autographs, etc. with all of us, and spent a good amount of time with a few people at the meet and greet, where they were extremely friendly and excited to meet with us.

The whole show was a blast from the beginning to end of Shiny Toy Gun's excellent performance. I wouldn't hesitate to see them again. They definitely brought it and I'm rest assured the rest of the fans and I were more than satisfied that they came through even when Hurricane Sandy was nearby.

I've seen STG thrice now (once with Sisely Treasure and twice with Carah Faye) over a span of 5 years and it was worth it each time. I've seen at least 200-300+ artists live and they are without a doubt on of my top favorites. The passion behind their art and music is beyond words and they have always reached out to their fans as much as possible no matter how popular they become. Carah Faye Charnow even walked over to me after a show once after a hurt ankle to give me a hug and accept a bracelet I made for her. They are wonderful, down-to-earth people with an innovative sound and loving attitude. Go see them.

This was the 1st time I've ever seen STG & I would definitely go see them again. It was great to see them in such a small venue. They put on an entertaining show, particularly the girl bass player (Sissely Treasure, I think her name is). She was very energetic and has a nice voice. Semi Precious Weapons opened for them & they were HIGHLY entertaining. Funny songs. At one point, the vocalist came out into the crowd & carried a girl back on stage over his shoulder. Quite a feat, considering he was wearing spike heels lol.

I was so excited to see the Shiny Toy Guns in concert, until they actually got on stage. Well, Actually it was only two members that got on stage. The whole concert was pre-recorded. The female lead singer and drummer were missing. The other members only played music from their apple computer with some occasional very brief singing. And they were only on stage for 45 minutes. I paid for 2 tickets for $45 to see half the band stand in front of a computer that was blasting music. I could've just listed to my Ipod at the gym and had a more productive 45 minutes. Don't go see the band this year. Maybe next year they'll decide to tour together.

Very Disappointed is an understatement. The band Shiny Toy Guns advertised that their BAND is playing a show at the Club at Firestone. I bought my tickets and show up to discover the entire band is not playing this show and instead just have 2 guys from the band on stage cranking out techno all night long. Now these 2 guys were talented without a doubt but this was NO complete band. If I wanted to see a techno DJ war I would have gone to a RAVE INSTEAD. I am very disappointed and left feeling ripped off.

I feel jipped. I got all excited to see STG at Firestone and got a half ass show. I mean c'mon-how are you going to put on a show with half your group missing? And who remixes their own song, but don't sing the original version??? I get it. They NEVER play outside NYC. This was a big step for STG but that should be more reason to put on a worthy show. The opening act shouldn't last 2 hours at any show. The "Le Disko" dancers were not that great. Yes Jeremy D- your skills are of no question, but damn, it was not good A band SHOULD NOT be better on iTunes than they are in person.

While the idea of a Shiny Toy Guns Concert remixed seemed good in theory, in actuality it didn't work all that well. Poor mixing at the club, a delayed start, and an anti-climactic show proved to be pretty disappointing. While I wasn't unhappy I went, it was not what I had expected. No lead singer, very few vocals, and mostly a DJ set. I think that I wasn't the only one in the crowd that felt the same way, as there was a steady stream of people leaving as the set continued. Overall, a disappointing show by a band I really was excited to see.

The show was awesome. You could hear all the vocals and instruments clearly. Best live sound I've heard since Cold Play.
