Great show the all the entertainers were good . Was missing Willie Clayton, Denise Lasalle

The show was great...I usually get up and dance...but my section was kinda conserative, so i just sat back and relax...but I really enjoyed everyone. I wished Peggy Scott and Sir Charles were there.

Overall the show was good, however it is time for Bobby Rush to get a new act, he does the same routine every time. Time to bring more blues artist from the south to the show. Would love to see TK Soul, Tucka, or Denise LaSalle. Where was Theotis, Willie Clayton, and Clarence Carter??? I hated Latimore was first since we ran a little late.

It was a great show, had a great time, a lot of Blues for your money .

The buffet diner food was excellent. if you had the late sitting you missed some of the show i think this was dude to not enough space for the diners the . The show started late and ran without intermissions which was OK. if Mr. Floyd had been there I don't think we would have seen all the acts. the last entertainer ended his show abruptly. Overall the show was good.

We were very disappointed with Sir Charles Jones' "performance". It was our first time seeing him in person and he is one of my favorite blues artist. He basically left the audience wondering why he was on the program. Thank goodness I have his music, otherwise I wouldn't know what he is capable to do. My other disappointment was the poor quality of sound for the majority of the concert. I struggled trying to hear and understand the singers. Their microphones didn't appear to be turned up. Overall, I don't feel I got what I paid for. I don't mind spending money for good entertainment, which was not the case for this event. The MC / comedian was excellent!,

We have attended the show now going on our third year, and as usual the show was "GREAT". The only complaint we have this year was the MUSIC & BASE was horribly LOUD. It over powered some of the singers voices which made it difficult to actually hear them at times. The show and performers were as GOOD as it gets. We hope next years show producers will consider the audience's ear drums and not just having the MUSIC LOUD.

The Chitown Blues Festival at the Star Plaza was off the chain. All of the performes did an AWESOME!! Job. I'm looking forward to the 15th Blues Anniversary on next year.

Show was great!!! I will attend in 2015. People just need to sit and stay out of the isle so everyone can see and enjoy the show.

I bought tickets for my mother, aunt and myself. We had great seats. We really enjoyed the show. To see older people still have it, sound and dance wise, it's impressive. I hope that we don't lose anymore blues singers. If we do, we won't have anymore living legends to see. I live the blues because it's real life things that people can relate to.

The CHI-TOWN Blues Festival just keeps getting better. I can't believe that next year will be their 15th. We will definitely be there.

Loved the show overall but Willie Clayton and Sir Charles Jones need to improve Bobby Rush is just the best!!!!!!

The crowd was good, the stage was good, the atmosphere was great!! We danced and sang all night long!! The entertainers were great and the MC was the bomb!! They just didn't sing enough of their songs, but I know that would have taken days!!!

Sooooo ENJOYED myself. Was worth the money. Will be going back....

I was a little upset when I found out the Bobby wasn't there...He's ill...He was my main reason for going...but Bobby Rush put on a great show along with everyone else, except for Millie..Hell, I damn near went to sleep..Anyway, everything went well..By the way, if u ever think about the Ultimate Overnight Package, don't do it...because I didn't feel Iike I got what I paid for.

The show was very good with blues all night. Problem: Music was to loud so that singers were often drowned out. Sound system did not seem to be set correctly!

Bobby Bland didn't mAke it but it was a great show..see it while u can good people.

I enjoyed this concert so much, this was my 1st time attending,and really had a great time, Bobby Rush really gave a great show,,eveyone did fantasic,can't wait til next year,planning on attending again, and taking my mother with me.

This concert was great!!! There was something for Blues Lovers, and those that don't know they love the Blues. The concert was well organized, and most of the acts were great . With the exception of Sir Charles, everybody was great. I laughed so hard when Bobby Rush perfomed. I hope I look that good at 79 years old. He's still got it. Shirley Brown got all the single ladies involved and Woman to Woman will always be a classic. I can't wait till next year.

My husband is a serioius blues fan, when I heard about the Chi Town Blues Festival I surprised him with this weekend concert package. He was truly impressed with the entire weekend. The concert was great and was especially impressed by how each acts time was monitored closely.

It's time for Bobby Blue Bland concert days to end. He is my favorite blues singer and two years ago, although he sat down his voice was excellent. I even made the comment for him to be turning 80 years old he still sings well. This year he was unable to hold his notes due to his age and condition, he could barely sing. Sir Charles Jones doesn't fall into the blues category to me. He is more of an R & B singer. Shirley Brown was wonderful and she still has a strong voice. Bobby Rush was very entertaining and had the crowd laughing, and still sings well. Mel Waiters was ok, Floyd Taylor jumped all around songs. Just when you got into it, he went to the next. The MC was funny and kept the crowd going, I plan on going back next year.

The show was great and I loved that there was not a delay between acts. The South really knows how to keep the show moving and their PR is great which allows for concert goers to take photos with them for a minimal fee. They are very much hands on. My least favorite moment was Floyd Taylor performing a medley of his dad's songs because just as I would get into one he would change to another. I'd rather see the artist sing fewer full songs than a medley.

When you call it a BLUES festival, it sholud be all Blues, about half was, the rest I considered R & B. The Blues acts were good, the rest I could have passed on. Also, not thrilled with the emcee making several comments directed at the "white people" in the audience and heard the word "cracker" once. I find it intersting that those comments were considered acceptable and in "good taste". It also became a political platform with several comments about voting for Obama and keeping a brother in office, again didn't belong at a concert. The people working for the Star Plaza were very nice and helpful, but the washrooms should have been cleaned and checked during the night and were in terrible shape by the end of the show. I used to really enjoy coming to the Star Plaza, but WOULD SERIOUSLY THINK TWICE, before attending another concert there again.

Had a blast of a time at the show. Plenty of acts to keep anyone happy.

Staples in the blues world Latimore, Shirley Brown, and renown artist Bobby Rush were excellent. Sir Charles Jones was entertaining and I have watched him grow. The middle of the show needs some tweaking. It is not easy to replace Mel Waiters, Theodis Ealey, and Mrs. Ealey. Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues would be a great choice for next year. All in all it was a very good show.

bobby rush & Latimore were the best , sir Charles jones, Shirley brown,nellie travis and calvin Richardson were good also. The Girl in the white dress singing with the guy please leave them home next time she did not inpress me at all, I can't remember her name plus she did not sing any blues songs, she did have a nice voice , but The wife and I came to hear the blues , not some young girl jumping around on the stage singing songs that were not the blues, if she is on the show next year we will not be attending

This is one of the best concerts that I ever attended. Please Sir Charles stop playing and least sing a couple of your songs all the way through!!! You are one of the main reasons why I attend this event!!!

Magnificent performances from Bobby Rush & Shirley Brown whose voice is still fantastic !! Sir Charles Jones had all the ladies crashin the stage w/ enormous enthusiasm for his talent & sexuality ! Latimore was wonderful & proved an ole man can turn the ladies on as well & the Queen of the South Side Blues Nellie ''the tiger'' Travis brought her own steamy style of Blues to the night !!!

The combination of acts and when they appeared was awful. How do you sell tickets and then put some of your main acts first (Latimore) , if had not been for Sir Charles and Bobby this whole concert would of been a disaster

This is a must see for anyone who loves the Blues. We attended this for the first time and will return each year faithfully. Outstanding

This was by far one of the most wonderful concerts I have attended. I enjoyed every act that played. I am looking forward to next year's show, I will be there. Please keep putting on these wonderful concerts for oldies like me. I've told all my friends now they want to come next year.

I thought the show in a whole was fantastic. Lenny Williams still sounds good and had the crowd attention. Clarence Cater brought back memories. Shirley Brown sung her butt of, but she needs to stand more and entertain her audience. Theodis and Mel was good as usual, and Bobby Rush was amazing he made the show. I really enjoyed myself. See you next year....

The perfomances were EXCELLENT disappointed in seating arrangement. We were moved twice due to equipment placment and the staff appeared very unorganized.

I enjoyed all of the entertainers,but Shirley Brown was as good as she was when she first started singing.

The concert was awesome we had a great time. Bobby Rush showed up and showed out!!!

I really enjoyed the show. All of the artist were on top of their game. I especially enjoyed Bobby Rush - my favorite Blues Man. He does and excellent show then comes into the audience and is extremely personable. Theodis was off the chain. He and his wife are excellent together, she compliments him very well. I will be there next year. God bless all the artists.

Everyone was AWESOME! Songbird Shirley Brown & "Woman to Woman", Mel Waiters and guests, Clarence Carter was strokin, Lenny Williams & "I'm Sorry I Didn't Know It Was Your Mama", Bobby Rush & his big butt girls, Theodis Ealey & his wife with "Just Let Me Put The Head In". I wish Latimore could have been there, too. The MC made it possible for smooth transitioning between acts and he was entertaining. The bands were great. Will B.B. ever be there?

Show was horrible!!!!! I do mean horrible, DO NOT waste your money. Those were not blues, the real blues talent is gone. Sir Charles is no real blues singer. Lattimore was ok, he was about the best. The entire show is garbage!! It was good when Bobby Blue Bland was in it, they need BB King or Albert King, hey where is Buddy Guy.

Great event...perhaps best concert ever! Even the artists we were not familiar with (Sir Charles Jones and Theodus Ealey) were excellent! Emcee was very funny, and we enjoyed the ladies over 60 dance contest..

all the acts needs to update there show, it look like to same show as last year, some of the same songs , jokes and routines

very nice show would have love to move of sir Charles but he was a add on so I enjoyed it any way everyboby did a great job and sound just like they did on there cd all dress cgreat overall I hada wonderful time looking forward to the next one

all the act need to update there acts , it was like the same show that i saw last year same song and same jokes, and some acts did not sing the songs that made them famous and yoy can cut sir charles out of the show. i did not care for hime at all, let him get a day job

I'm not really into blues but I wanted to go for the experience and I had a great time the performers were all great and connected with the audience the announcer was hilarious I will definetly go next year. I'm glad I prefaced before I arrived the bent drinks are super expensive.

Blues are alright!, probably the best show I've been to this year!
