The opening acts where surprisingly good. Lee Perry for his age, is very energetic and brings a great vibe to the stage. He is very Free spirited and literally says anything that comes to mind.

His performance was horrendous. He appeared either mentally ill or very high on drugs. For the people who actually understood the words he was "singing" they were embarassing and insulting. We left within 30 minutes. It's a shame that he was actually allowed to perform. It's better to remember him for who he was than what he has become.

Thee Dubmeister dubbing himself live in a stellar performance with members of the Dubblestandart crew from Wien/Köln, Osterreich: Paul Zasky on green Steinbürger bass and Mixmeister Emch, also playing the occasional melodica. Old cohort Larry McDonald on monster congas made this a stripped-down performance I shall remember for the rest of my life. And I should be so lucky to be bouncing around a stage like Scratchy when I'm 76 years old! Selah

Took my buddy for his birthday. Had a good time. 13 bucks for a can of beer and a can of rockstar is absurd though. 4th and B has been one of my favorite venues in San Diego. Saw lots of good shows there until they were bought out a few years ago. Then they turned into a venue that had boxing matches and standup comedians. Glad to see good acts being scheduled again.
