First saw BDS backing up Lynyrd Skynyrd / Kid Rock then at the Warehouse Live last year. Had to go back this year. I had to get up at 4am but didn't miss a note. I'm at work now the day after enjoying some Vid Clips. Davey Knowles is a bonafied genius of the Guitar. Please put out a live CD and even a DVD. I'll buy both! If you haven't seen this band live, you must GO! Spine tingling Rock-n-Roll. Thanks BDS for your music. It kicks @zz.

This is my fifth time seeing Davy Knowles. He continues to improve and is clearly one of the most talented guitar players alive. He works incredibly hard and continues to play to smaller audiences which is awesome in this day and age of greed and one hit wonders. Keep up the good work Davy!!

If you like Classic Blues Rock, you'll love this band. If you like guitar playing, you'll be blown away. Davy plays years beyond his age. I haven't been this excited about a new guitar player since Stevie Ray.

Rob Drabkin was unforgetable with his crazy hair and stellar vocals/guitar skills. the melissa duo with Davy Knowles was pretty darn cool. Davy and Back Door Slam continued to wow the audience the rest of the evening.

Davy Knowles put on the kind of show that I expected, an incredible one. The other members that rounded out "Back Door Slam" were decent, but nothing exceptional. However, Davy Knowles singing and guitar work shined through every single song, regardless of who else was playing with him, earning him a 5 star review. He even showed up for autographs after the show.

I love Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, SRV, Satriani, and the other guitar gods! I get goose-bumps thinking how GREAT Davy is gonna be as he gets older and continues honing his skills. This was a GREAT concert!!!

Davey Knowles has a knowledge and command of the blues like a master twice his years.

This kid is something else! Talk about a prodigy. Reminds me a lot of Joe Bonamassa with his musicianship and technical ability. He truly loves playing in front of fans! This kid puts on a great show and seems like a really personable guy. He engages with the crowd and is extremely modest. Tickets were dirt cheap. If you have an opportunity to see this kid, do it now! AND HE'S ONLY 22!

Davy Knowles and his band are simply fantastic! The only bad thing about the event is that my feet still hurt from standing all night! It would have been better to sit down especially since it was such a small intimate venue.

Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam was amazing. Although the venue was small, Davy's playing made it worth it and more. I've never seen such an amazing guitarist before, anything I listen to know feels like an insult to his incredible music. If you haven't seen a Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam concert, I strongly reccommend you do, its an absolutely thrilling oppritunity and your ears will crave for another DK and BDS concert. Davy playing live is nothing like listening to one of his albums, its much, much, in fact, a trillion times better (not to say his albums aren't already too good to be true!).

My husband and I have seen Back Door Slam four times now. Twice at World Cafe in Philly, once at a FREE concert in Lindenwald NJ (Great little concert venue and FREE!) and now in Lancaster at the Cameleon Club (also a great little venue). Davy Knowles gets better every time! His guitar playing is mesmorizing. We watch him in awe every time not believing how talented he is. We never saw Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn but feel like this is talent along the same lines. And his voice is equally matched with his guitar playing skills. It was awesome that he brought out a young kid that he saw on YOU TUBE that impressed him so much, to play guitar with him on stage. We are happy to see them at small clubs but hope they will make it to the top of the charts, and bigger venues where they belong.

Davy Knowles' talent is unmatched in the music world today, especially since he's only 22 years old. He put on a fantastic show, as always, and is the most humble and cordial musician I have ever met. However...we traveled almost two hours to see this show. My wife tried repeatedly to contact the venue to find out what time the show started, and what time Davy K. would take the stage...to no avail. Therefore, we showed up at 7:00, only to find out that he would not come on stage until 9:30. It's obviously a way to get people to show up early and start spending money. I would recommend going to see Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam anywhere! But make sure you find out what time he's playing, so you don't show up 2-1/2 hours early!

This is the third time I have seen Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam and I have only two things to say - these guys are incredible and Davy Knowles is the best guitar player to come out in 25 or more years. At age 22 or 23, he's better than any other blues/rock guitarist was at that age and will only get better as time goes on. There is finally hope for the blues/rock jonre and Davy is it. A must see - you won't be disappointed! Support this act both live and by checking out their two studio albums. With all the garbage that they call music these days it's a treat to have a true talent back on the scene and, boy, was it worth the wait!!!!!!!!

I saw Davy knowls this summer with chicken foot. When I saw he was playing in Lancaster I bought my tickets. I drove 4 hours to see this show and I dont regret it at all. Great club, up close and personal. Davy and back door slam was the best show I saw this year.

Davey never disappoints. He loves to play and his enthusiasm shows. One of the few remaining artists playing this style of music - - classic blues rock with extended solos. Davey channels Hendrix, Clapton, Vaughn and others and sings soulfully like someone twice his age. His new rhythm section cooks like never before.

Does a blazing talent like Davy Knowles hit the music scene...and he's humble to boot! Watch out world...Davy's on his way to even bigger and better things...he even showcased a new young talent who rocked alongside him playing Neil Young's "Cortez" ...now that's true humility.. My only regret is that I wish I could have sat down to see him--the Chameleon Club is SRO all the time...they should put some $$'s into the place and have seating for patrons!!
