Steve Angello
House producer Steve Angello is the founder of Size Records and a member of the group Swedish House Mafia. Born Steve Josefsson Fragogiannis in Athens, Greece to a Greek father and a Swedish mother, he grew up and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. He founded Size Records in 2003 and inaugurated the label with the self-billed Simplicity EP. Subsequent releases were also produced by Angello, though often under monikers such as the Sinners, General Moders, and Who's Who? -- the former two also comprised of Sebastian Ingrosso -- while latter-day releases would feature other producers such as Luke van Scheppingen (aka Laidback Luke) and Chinedum Nwosu (Innersphere).

Asking if Steve Angello killed it is like asking if the sun came up this morning! This guy is a house genius and even his openers were awesome!

Sick show! Steve Angello killed it! His reputation precedes him and he delivered. The show was everything you expect: High energy, loud crisp system, sick light show and a crowd motivating performance. Angello shows his love for the music and his appreciation for his fans. Expect to hear all the SHM hits, some re-mixes of house classics, and of course some new tracks on the horizon.

The show was awesome, but Aoki played way too early. Most of us complained about that. Plus the Sports Arena is not a good location, drinks are ridiculously over priced and the layout is not the best.

Not only was Steve Angelo an amazing performance and I felt liek he was enjoying the experience as much as I was, but Roseland ballroom was great. Naturally on new years it was incredibly crowded, but I lost my ticket on the way to the concert and the customer service at the desk was so exceptional that they were able to look up my ticket for me so that I could still get in. It really saved my new years and made the night so amazing!!!!!

Queuing to get in was an absolute nightmare. The cops had their batons out trying to move people back but that was never going to happen so the horses had to be called in and it got a little nasty for a moment. Once in however, the music was great, there wasn't too long a wait for drinks, easy access to bathrooms and coatcheck and it turned out to be a great night.

AwfulTime
It was New Years Eve, and I had to watch the ball drop while my face was buried in someones back, jammed together like cattle in line, while riots started breaking out around me. The doors were supposed to open at 9 pm, I was online for over three hours waiting to get in, finally getting in at 12:30 am. It was an awful way to spend my New Years and I am appalled at the way this event was managed. I spent $100 dollars waiting online with angry people, and a bottle was thrown by my head. I am calling tomorrow to demand a refund, but knowing how this business is run (like crooks), that probably wont happen, but I will speak my mind.

I completed the trifecta of the Swedish House Mafia on New Years with Steve Angello who ended up being the least enjoyable. Axwell and Ingrosso were both amazing, and had great sets. Keeping in mind that Angello was on New years, and had a much longer set, the entire set was still rather disappointing. Also he BUTCHERED the axwell dirty south Sylvia remix. Generally, I found that he played a lot of monotonous beats to fill the time as well. On another note, Rosewell Ballroom is TERRIBLE at getting people into the venue. I went there to see deadmau5 on Halloween and waited outside in the cold for hours. This time the line was shorter, but wouldn't move because groups of people would cut up front. After asking a security guard to prevent this he said "there are too many people here, you just have to enter the line wherever the hell you can." At that point we just pushed up to the door and literally forced ourselves in. I later found out that many ticket holding friends of mine were denied, after paying up to $100 for a ticket.
