Had a great time at this show. The energy was amazing as it always is at small clubs. My friends and I always say there is nothing like a tiny show! Agalloch played for two hours which is a great thing considering most of there songs are over six minutes long and they were so tight. It helps that music hall of williamsburg has great sound! Also they almost never tour so if you like them you got to go see them while you can. Musk Ox was great as well, very peaceful relaxing music. Taurus was laughable and so it is great that you can just go downstairs grab a drink and relax on a very comfy couch. Definately loved this show and can't say enough good things.

Brilliant show all around. Musk Ox opened and played an acoustic set and got a great response and was quite funny between songs. Taurus played next and was incredibly heavy and crushing. Hard to believe 2 people can make that much noise. Decent reception, mostly because people weren't sure what they just witnessed. Agalloch were immense. Sounded great, looked great and the song choice covered their entire career, topped off by a 2-song encore. Played for about 2 hours which is impressive seeing as much larger bands, charging much higher prices think they can get away with playing an hour and calling it a night. Absolutely brilliant.

As difficult as it was to focus after being caught in a thunderstorm and being soaking wet inside the freezing music hall, Agalloch made me forget about everything and took me to their world. They created an atmosphere and made the show very intimate. I wasn't on the very verge of tears or anything from how amazing it was, but it was a good solid show.
