Well to start out with, I might be a little bias in that Forever The Sickest Kids is my favorite band. But yes, just the vibe of the band and crowd was amazing!! A couple of fights broke out behind me, but that's what happens at concerts. All of the opening bands were good as well.

Awesome concert! FTSK WAS AWESOME (as usual)...Sing It Loud - nate took off his shirt and the crowd goes wild. Artist vs. Poet - good. The Rocket Summer - went off stage and played in crowd and got crowd surfed back to the front. My Favorite Highway - great, and Pat Brown came to sing a little bit.

This show was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the NO Cameras thing was not made more clear. If it had been, I would not have brought my camera at alll. The bands that performed were unbelievable, and the time could not have been better used. The set changes were quick and all the bands were able to start in great time.

Every band was AWESOME!!! The opening acts were very catchy and went with the type of tour it was. The Rocket Summer killed it with their whole set, amazing cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Forever the Sickest Kids was on point! probably the best i've ever heard them live and i've seen them 4 times before this show

All the bands were great. There were bands I'd never heard of, but now I like them and am interested. The music of each band was similar so if you like one band, you'll probably like the others. The Rocket Summer's performance was, as always, full of energy, creative and humble. Let's not forget perfectly on pitch. My favorite part was when he played behind the crowd for the people in the back and then crowd surfed forward. Alltogether an unforgetable experience!

This was my 5th time seeing Forever the Sickest Kids and as usual, they made sure not to disappoint. They're crazy good performers and always put on a fun show. The opening bands were also on their a-game that night. Artist vs. Poet got the crowd going and My Favorite Highway kept up the energy. However, after seeing Sing It Loud three times already, I have to confess my disapointment. They were less than mediocre that night due to the blaring drums Pat Brown fought to sing over and their complete lack of enthusiasm. Next was The Rocket summer who I've waited forever to see and Bryce Avary went above and beyond my expectations. After TRS, I made my way to the pit (which if you've been to a sold-out show at Culture Room, know that it was a horrible idea). Nonetheless, I had fun being squashed against sweaty bodies and singing along to Hey Brittany with the oh-so charming Jonathon Cook. Although I've seen FTSK perform better, they still killed it. Overall, fun night.

I wish i will still at the concert! Sing It Loud and FTSK were my favorite. The others were good too, which amazed me. FTSK knows how to entertain, and sing. The thing that dissapointed me though, was that they have a new lead singer. I was so used to Caleb singing, that with the old songs it just sounded weird. But, don't get me wrong he has a great voice, and he also has good looks. It sounded better with their more recent songs, then with the old one, but still amazing. I recommend you go see them, because you will have a great time. I made my boyfriend go and he really doesn't like their cd, but even he said that they were great live. So, hurry and get ready to go to an amazing concert!

One of the best shows I've been to in a while! I didn't stay for Forever the Sickest Kids, but that was absolutely fine because Bryce put on such an amazing show that no one needed to hear any more! The songs he sang were very uplifting and he has a great heart that you saw on stage and heard in what he said as well as what he sang. I would have to say that he is growing as a person and a musician and he really knows how to put on a great show that touches as well as entertains. Great job! (The first band Artist vs. Poet was terrible. Second band My Favorite Highway was great. The third band Sing It Loud was pretty good, though I was pretty sure that the bassist was on something as he NEVER stopped hopping and running and jumping. He was a bit insane and I was a little concerned. Haha. Anyway, great show overall.)

The crowd was great, getting into almost all of the opener bands, except i felt bad for artist vs. poet because they're a really great local band, but they were very first so it took a little bit for the energy to build, but by the time the rocket summer came up it was amazing how much the crowd got into every single song and jumping and singing! FTSK made people crowd surf and mosh, b/c they said they hadnt seen it happen yet. the bands all had really great pure energy and love for their music and fans that was awesome to see, because it all still means something to them other than money like some more mainstream stuff.. next time they come thru, you should def go! :)

My Favorite Highway, Sing It Loud, and Forever The Sickest Kids are well on their way too stardom. These formerly underground bands are taking their music from one group to the next with sweeping enthusiasm. From soft melodies too headbanging power rifts these bands are part of a style that is slowly but surely taking over America's teenagers. See them now because soon enough their ticket prices will soar along with their fame.

Forever the Sickest Kids was an awesome show. All of the bands (with the exception of My Favorite HIghway, they were kind of lukewarm) were full of energy, and they really delivered. I do wish Security would have stopped the moshing though, it kind of ruined it for a lot of us.

ARTIST V POET - started off the night. There were nothing short of amazing. This band is going to most def go places so be on the watch for them. They are not just a talented band but they are great people too. SING IT LOUD - they put on an incredible show. They have such talent and every band member brings something special to SIL. They are a young band but boy do they know how to put out the music. They really got the night going last night. The energy in the house from them was AMAZING. Nate loves to crowd surf and the crowd loves it. THE ROCKET SUMMER - is the real deal. They performed so well on stage the crowd just loves him/them. At one point the lead singer suddenly appears in a different section of the venue to sing a totally beautiful song. The audience went nuts and it was easy to see why. They always put on a great show. FTSK - They were off the hook. They have such great stage presence it's like gettng a broadway type show in addition to a regular concert. They know how to keep the audience engaged and that's just what they did. NONE of the bands that night had an off night. We enjoyed EVERY penny of what we paid to see that show.

As always, Bryce and the boys of The Rocket Summer put on an amazing show. They did mainly newer songs from the new EP and the Do You Feel album. The opening bands were good, Artist vs Poet definitley stood our among the three. FTSK were OK, however I think they need to remember that their fans are the reason why they are "famous", especially their Texas crowds who supported them when they were opening for other bands. Overall the concert itself was great. Meridian is the worst venue I have ever been too. They were so unorganized and there was a huge mess when they opened the doors. People were pushing, fighting, etc.

This was my first show at House of Blues, but second Forever the Sickest Kids show and the venue was fantastic! I sat in the balcony, center section, second row and had a great view of the stage. They had 4 opening acts, Artist vs. Poet, Sing It Loud, My Favorite Highway and The Rocket Summer. AvP, MFH and TRS were fantastic. Sing It Loud was okay, but they didn't seem to fit with the other groups. They were a little rough around the edges for my liking, and the lead singer made some rude comments to the crowd which I did not like. The openers did a great job and I was having a great time, then FTSK came to the stage and it was like being at a whole new concert. It made the opening acts look amateur in comparison! The sextet completely rocked House of Blues from the first note to the last. They were high energy, working the crowed the whole time, and played songs from both the old and new album. They really connect with their fans, and show their talents with ease. They had some "technical difficulty" during one song, but handled it beautifully! I was really impressed by how they handled it. They never missed a beat of the song. I would recommend that everyone check these guys out as soon as they are near you, it is a show you won't soon forget. Also, it is a great show to bring younger kids too bc their is no cussing, or objectifying of women. These guys are Christians, and make it clear that for them, actions speak louder than words.

Basically, I've been waiting for sooo long to see My Favorite Highway and to see The Rocket Summer again, and it was better than my expectations. Forever the Sickest Kids, Down with Webster, Kelsey and the Chaos, and Sing it Loud were also really really good, but I must say that The Rocket Summer stole the show. I arrived a little late to the show, so I missed the first band. I did catch most of My Favorite Highway, and they were amazing. I have never seen them live before, but I have heard a few of their songs from a friend and I'm glad I did not miss their performance. I bought their CD after the show and the guys from My Favorite Highway signed it for me. They were really nice guys. Sing It Loud played next and their energy on stage is amazing. I saw them live before and they really brought it like they did last time I saw them. The Rocket Summer were next, and there is only one thing to say about Bryce Avary is that he is a genius. His music is amazing, and I met him after the show, he is really nice. FTSK were awesome, energy, interaction with the crowd, and their overall performance was amazing. They played a few new songs which I really liked and of course their old. They did an encore with a new song and an old song. The crowd at that show was also crazy and so energetic.

I went to this concert with my two friends and went mainly to see Paradise Fears, who as usual were amazing. Each opening band played for about a half hour. Personally, I wish Paradise Fears played longer. It was obvious that we weren't the only ones there for Paradise Fears and for this reason they should do more of their own headlining tours because once Forever the Sickest Kids came on the crowd got significantly smaller. We did watch them and the lead singer was entertaining to watch who at one point fell into the crowd and hit his crotch on the speaker trying to get back up on stage. Overall, it was an entertaining performance by all bands attending. Definitely seeing Paradise Fears again!

Rocket Summer, My favorite Highway, Artists vs. Poets were amazing! RS, FH and A vs P seemed more heartfelt and played to the audience without being artificial. It helped that FH had a really cute bass player and drummer.....We were up so close.....we almost got the drumstick that the drummer tossed to us.....but to avoid a girl fight we gave them up! The 6 other girls then fought over them. We actually had them first......if the drummer would like to send my daughter one that would be awesome...she is 14 and it was her first concert ever. She said it may have been the best night in her life. She got to hold Dave Cook's hand and she said she was so close, some of the band members dripped on her...;). So Drummer, if you would send a drumstick (signed?) to San Luis Obispo High school in San Luis Obispo, CA. to the Principal for "S. B.", the girl, my daughter who gave up the drumstick you tossed to her from her first ever concert at House of Blues in Anaheim on Dec. 5th.....that would be an amazing gift and we could prove that amazing things happen to good people! Thanks....... and you guys rock!
