Yes, I am an Editors fan, and I ve had Editors Fever for quite some time, but I was unprepared for their dynamic live performance. This is a band that has truly mastered the stage - this was a ROCK SHOW in the truest sense of the word. I went with my daughter, who while not necessarily a fan, was impressed at the quality of the performance - and we ve been to a lot of concerts together (I started taking her when she was 2, she s now 38). The venue is beautiful inside, the restroom clean, with an adequate number of stalls. Security was present, but unobtrusive. Staff was helpful and polite. Although the venue is 90 miles from my home I would not hesitate to go there again - it s easily accessible, and on the weekends there s ample, inexpensive parking. If you appreciate a great live performance, see this band, not to mention their music simply rocks!

This was the first time seeing the Editors live and they delivered. Frontman Tom Smith is a man possessed, twisting and genuflecting, and sounds every bit as good live as he does on the records. Great percussion and guitars create an adrenalin-pumping wall of sound that is original and a tremendous joy to watch.

Editors excel at playing live, and this show was transcendent. I honestly think this is the best show I have ever seen, and I have seen hundreds of bands. They have excellent energy and are obviously having a great time.

The lead singer was REALLY high on something (we kept debating between coke or something "stronger") but his voice was incredible and the band was right-on, regardless. The new album is excellent and I like them more now than prior years.

Great concert. They sound great live and put on a good show. Played pretty much all their popular songs, so I was quite content. Ogden theater is always a great place for a venue. It's not too big, so it feels like you're quite close to the stage, and the acustics are great.

Only wish the Denver crowd knew the band better and showed a little more enthusiasm. Personally I thought the Digg rocked, the Antlers sucked, and the band I went to see did not let me down. Sound was great and they had a simple but very effective show. They have a big sound and live captures it well.

Great show. Tom Smith has an amazing stage presence. Every note of every song comes through his body like an electric shock. He clearly feels the music and this comes through on stage and the energy is addicting. The audience is so overwhelmed, they almost don't know what to do with it. If you have the opportunity, go see these guys! The Warfield is the best venue imo.

I saw a couple of song from the opening band (Princeton) and liked what i heard i actually ended up buying the CD, second band (Antlers) was not at all to my liking and that is why i dont rate the event as Excellent, Editors where excellent!! I had heard them back in 08 at the Wiltern in LA and was amazed by them, i had originally gone to check out Hot Hot Heat but was blown away by Editors, after listening to theyre latest material i was expecting something less than great because i didn't enjoy it much, but after hearing them live i was convinced "again" of how great they perform. Something that helped out a lot was the Venue, House of Blues has an incredible sound, i will check this venue out definetly for future concerts. Small place + great sound is the perfect combination for me.

Such an awesome show. I've been waiting to see them in the states for some time now, and I was in San Francisco for business so this worked out great for me. I'm going to see them back at home in NYC next week, too. Tom's dramatic movements only add to one of the most passionate musical performances I've ever seen. I'd heard they were good live, and this just confirmed it for me. I brought a friend who didn't even know their music, and even she loved it. I was already obsessed with them, now I'm even more so.

Editors played a great show. Though all of their albums are incredibly different, they had a good way of mixing the styles make a good set-list. Tom Smith (singer) had an incredible stage presence. He jumped from guitar to synth, to piano, to just dancing around the mic. Light show was one of the best i had seen.

Remember that weird thing Alanis Morisette used to do with her arms? The lead singer of Editors must've borrowed that move. The sound was amazing, nothing was distorted or overdriven.

I took a friend and my husband to see the Editors on Friday, and we all absolutely LOVED them! They sound just as great live as they do on their album, if not better. I have a true appreciation for bands that can pull that off. They also held the crowds interest by performing with great feeling. Go see them if you get the chance!

What can I say? I think I got more than I expected. The venue is very nice and the gig was simply too good. Not too many people and a lead singer in great shape! You know how sometimes you love an album, then you get to see the artist and it's a big disappointment? Well, forget it! The Editors are a great band. Their music is fresh, new, honest, meaningful. And Tommy's voice is the perfect instrument to communicate all that. If you get the chance, don't miss it. I certainly won't when they're back in town!

The Editors put on a great show on Friday. The opening acts really weren't my thing, but when the main act got on stage, everything changed! Playing songs like "Blood", "An End has a Start" and "Lights", got the crowd pumped. The girl next to me was going nutz when they played songs off their new album. The crowd erupted when they played "Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool". This was, without a doubt, the best $20 concert ever! I would recommend any rock fans see the Editors!

Editors and the opening bands were great, however it took 45 minutes for the second band to set up and nearly an hour for Editors to set up. With a place that is standing room only, 2 hours of waiting was beyond ridiculous. Also, we weren't allowed into the balcony area where there was seating even though we paid extra for the tickets and had ID. Despite the set up wait, Editors were good but I will most likely NOT return to the Trocadero.

The venue (Terminal 5) is great; it isn't too restrictive nor too crazy. Arriving early can guarantee a spot 5 feet from the band. THE EDITORS were amazing. The lighting and smokescreens were in tune with the music, and the whole place reverberated with each note. The crowd was lively and welcoming, and the band was eager to play have fun. Don't have much to say other than Editors killed the show last night. Great blend of tracks from all the albums. They played the crowd well, even though the Boston fan base didn't give them as much love as I thought they would. The people up front towards the stage were great...rest of the crowd seemed dead.....this was not the Editors fault. They rocked it. My left ear is still deaf today.

Excellent event! But too short! The music and the presence on stage was powerful. One advise: this band has a lot for itself and could give just a little more to "light the fire" on the audience. Each time it was done, it was cool... It's been a long time I didn't see a singer with such a charisma, and such a wonderful voice. Editors have everything to make us "fly" in their musical universe. Monday night, San Francisco's Warfield Theater & small crowed saw one of the UK's most consistent (still Indie) four piece bands not miss a note or a beat. With a blended mix of track off all three albums pumped out a a tempo to keep your feet stomping intermingled with moody slow tracks that saw Tom Smith do what he does best. From the opening track In this Light..... to the final Fingers in the Factory the Birmingham boys provided good value of money. It was a mixed crowed of some die heart fans and some new recruits waiting all night for Papillion and it didn't disappoint among the encore. For fans it was nothing less of what we have come to expect from the Editors, but for the first timers the general view was they were way better than I thought.........

That was such a great concert. I saw Editors once before at a festival in Belgium. At Belasco they delivered the same energy for the smaller audience as for the bigger audience at the festival. Was a brilliant evening, a great band at a great venue. The warm up band I have tried to forget as soon as I could as I didn't find them to my taste. But the main event was a great show. It seemed non stop, 3 second invervals between songs just to change instroments and then off again. The time flew by with many classics inverwoven between new songs from their latest album which sound distinctivly different from the rest of the catalogue. I was up on the second floor jus to the side with a clear view of ther stage and enjoyed it immensly. your eyes were always entertained as the vovalist is brillaint to watch with his flamboyant style of performance. This was the theird time I have seen the Editors, and the first time not at a festival and would definatly see them at their own show again next time there in town.

Editors were awesome in concert, they played all of their hits and really put on a good show for being in a smaller venue like the Troc. Their songs sounded exactly like they were on the album and played song after song after song with little break in between. It was like you created your own playlist on your IPod

I took my two teenage sons to see their first concert ever this weekend, and Editors did not disappoint. We've listened to all 3 albums, and when we saw them live, we were blown away by Tom Smith. How does that voice come from that scrawny body? His vocals were amazing - he is one of the few performers who I have seen who sounds the same live and on record. I could understand the words - what a novel concept! He reminded me a bit of Ian Curtis, and some of the songs reminded me of Joy Division. They played mostly newer songs, with more synth, but also some older songs which were mostly guitar based. I wasn't sure that the guitarist (Chris Urbanowicz) was really into it at first, but then there were a bunch of songs during which he played amazing guitar pieces which fit very quietly into the songs. Overall a great show.

A nice show. Audience was at full occupancy and responded much more favorably to material from the first two records. 15 song set and 3 encores. I could tell what was coming because I was standing close enough to the light tec to touch him. I was pleasantly surprised how penetrating the lead singer's vocal was. He's very good within his range, which he is wise to stay within. They worked hard to sell the new material, but the production value is so dated that it felt a bit silly at times. Still, the band was very polished overall. Well worth the $16 admission.

Good performance, but the set was way too short. Felt like the show was over before it even started.
